Or maybe I got a shorter hydracirc and a taller hydraline. :D I've noticed on ALT that sometimes there is a "height not exact" caveat. Maybe that's the case here.

By the tube not lining up, do you mean that the interior section orifices (the smaller holes) don't appear to be vertically aligned? Given how the tube is constructed, it would be weird if the tube itself were not uniform. By chance is it that the orifices are not exactly identical in size? My...

Yesterday was the first op for me to really get a good workout with my hydraline. I also don't care for the splash back, but that changes entirely with the ice cubes. If ease of draw, smoothness of action, moisturizing, and cooling is what you're after, then the hydraline with ice is the way to...

Great call, jam. HydraFeet are coming!

Besides the above, my experience is smoother less harsh vapor, as much as I could possibly want yet at a comparatively lower temperature, and with a very easy draw. It is significantly more comfortable, and effective, than my previous daily driver (the Extreme Q). Re the cons, as others said...

Different development resources altogether. I would be surprised if there was any meaningful overlap. What may not be readily visible is that VXL has been investing in incremental design changes to improve reliability and manufacturability. Clearly this has to be the first priority, and it...

If the water level rises above the center air inlet it will overflow down the inlet to the joint. If you fill ~1/4-1/2" above the perc you're fine, and you probably wouldn't want any more than that anyway because of the added chug/drag. If the water level is ~1/2" or more above and added ice...

OK, I hereby bestow on myself the Cloud thread's stupid award. It only whistles if there isn't an ELB in the Cloud. Furthermore, it's not necessary to entirely fill the chamber, either. Dumb, dumb, dumb. But I do still have the question re the splash.

I just received my new hydraline. It is ~2oz lighter than the hydracirc but feels solid, ~1/4 taller, and the mouthpiece .2" wider. It's quite nice aesthetically. Also btw it sits just fine on Tstat's stand. I haven't yet really worked with it, but I have 2 usage first-impressions. The first...

It wasn't a cork, it was a rubber stopper. Some don't like to use rubber with a solvent like iso. Presumably that concern would extend to the common plastic wine corks. I use real corks.

You can see how he does it. He lays out the bait, puts in the hook, and reels you in slowly so that as soon as landing your order here comes new bait. He is a wicked, merciless monkey. How do I explain the Devastator to the wife? I haven't even told her yet about the HydraLine. It's...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

The cyclone works well for me with the bag. Depending on the herb, I can get 2 good Arizer bags plus a whispy 3rd with ~.25-.3, stirring a couple times each bag. The cyclone can be reasonably efficient using the whip, say with a load of ~.15, if your style is short, deep, long-held hits -...

Nah, nothing that bad at all. Just maybe an additional :freak: hole someplace.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I haven't read of anything serious, more like an irritant in your digestive tract. I should have been more clear. Re the cyclone, if the air is used repeatedly and frequently it's conceivable there could be build-up that could be evaporated off by hot air into the vapor. I'm not paranoid about...

I've also discovered like you and Progress that I like the smaller load better, I'm doing .1-.15. Opening the ELB I see the herb adhering all around the inside wall. I don't know for sure, but seems to imply more turbulence and hence better extraction. So if I want 3/4 of an ELB now I do it in 2...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Happy to oblige. Safe to clean with as long as well ventilated and away from your eyes/ears/mouth. On a related note, in the past I frequently used canned air to blow out my cyclone. Turns out that for aerosols which are tasteless or odorless (so doesn't apply to iso), a bitterant agent is...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Just passing this along in ref to earlier discussion re "aerosol" iso, . . . here is the MSDS sheet confirming our suspicion. In addition to propanol (an iso isomer), it contains difluoroethan. This is the refrigerant propellant gas. It's what makes the can get cold. If you (very carefully)...

Ya don't wanna pack the ELB, just tap the bottom a couple times on your table. Try .15-2g. Usually 10:30 or 12 o'clock is more than adequate. Partially blocking the hole at the bottom of the Cloud will throttle it, I wouldn't do that w/o having had a lot of experience first. Define "easy"...
