    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Oh, how about an order of magnitude? The Cloud is simply in a different class altogether; it may even be in a class by itself. For me what probably stands out most is the incredible extraction without requiring high heat or hard pulls (but you can crank it up if you've got the lungs). You can...

    Mobius Glass

Exactly the same impression here. The Reti is a gorgeous piece (I'm lucky enough to have the original dome top, wider flair base) and it hits beautifully, with a very smooth showerhead-like action. I have the larger Clear version too. I wouldn't be surprised if the Ion Reti was a bit smoother...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

A friend of mine was not so lucky as you guys. He hit the Q with a static electricity charge - socks again - and got the blank screen. Except it didn't reset. He made a warranty claim and received a new unit, no questions asked. So this must not be too uncommon of a problem.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

A reasonable concern. I don't share my Clear. But then again, no one in my circle is able to handle the size of that can; they all want to use the Ion or the HydraLine. :haw: It's as stable - but not more so - as long as the Cloud is either mounted above the dewaar (i.e., where it would be...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Why, a Mobius Clear Matrix Bubbler, of course! Oh wait, you already have one of those: Clear + CB + Cloud = Perfection

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

My container wasn't quite tall enough for my 60t, but now that you mention it IIRC there was an air pocket at the bottom perc. I think I submerged it just enough to fill the joint and then did a very quick pull on the mouthpiece, that was enough to fill the bottom. Ya don't want the SG coming...

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

Thanks a lot for the heads-up!!! I thought that given the very strict change re fluorocarbon use, that the difluoroethane now used would evaporate off. I forgot about the bitters that are added to prevent idiots from huffing the stuff; those bitters leave a residue. Too bad, looked promising...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Thx t-dub but you're still a wicked, wicked, child :D . . . because you didn't provide the diameter of the cans. (I'd like to calculate the approx volume for comparison to other pieces.)

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

That's just going to depend upon how you use your piece - i.e., how "dirty" it is - the strength of your mix, and the length of your soak. My batch is about a month old and is looking weak, even though it worked well last night. Which Mobius piece do you have? As I mentioned above, I only use...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

t-dub, I can't find dimensions for this piece. When you have a minute would you mind posting back the diameter of the base and the cans, and the height of the cans (which appear to be the same)? Thanks!

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

It's a concentrate. Comes in the typical spray bottle, or 1 gallon. I use the "heavy cleaning" recommendation of 10:1. Initially, I just sprayed the concentrate into the glass piece after corking the bottom, filled with water, corked top, shake vigorously, let soak, empty and thorough rinse...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

According to Arizer, last year there were a significant number of incremental improvements made. I forget the exact number, but it's approx two dozen. The black casing is how to identify the "improved" model. The one degree temp adjustment - which I don't care for, but at least the presets...

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

Agree with t-dub on all points. Btw, I'm interested in oxalic acid for water stains, was posted earlier IIRC but not much discussion. I haven't got any of the full-strength yet, but I found a cleaner which contains it. Experimenting, will post results.

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

Sorry about that. Just short-hand t-dub and I used for Simple Green, back-referenced to posts above. Btw, I don't really see my method as storing large amounts of liquid chemicals. I have a 1 gallon container of SG concentrate and a 1 gallon container for my diluted batch. The former is...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I sold my 60t because (in part) I didn't want to always have to hold and balance it when the Cloud was attached, even using the CloudBuddy. The Clear or Ion bubblers are an entirely different matter, the dewaar joints hold the Cloud easily and safely. With the CB, as easy if not more so, and no...

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

This engineer is a big believer in Occam's Razor :) My SG solution costs ~$1.70@gallon batch. How long it lasts of course is dependent on how much is being cleaned and how dirty, but so far appears my batch will last about a month. That's ~$.05@day. RezBlock concentrate costs $.24@3 drops =>...

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

I considered that with my HT's with <2 oz water in the chambers. But my Mobius bubblers take 4-5oz, that gets pretty expensive changing it daily. (I have the concentrate, using your ratio.)

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I'm partial to the Hydraline. Great diffusion, virtually drag free, extra smooth, good backflow protection, ice pinches, solid build. Highly recommended.

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

I have this type of SG setup, a 1 gallon 5" dia round plastic container mixed 10:1. It works well, although I'd prefer a narrower container but the Hydraline requires the larger size. Just dunk an HT into the container, cap it for the night, quick rinse the next day (with the tubing/rubber...

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

How long and how strong were your soaks? I guess my broader question is, as long as it is rinsed thoroughly with hot water, it doesn't matter how long it soaks?
