    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

The most significant retrofit that I'm aware of are both the firmware and the firmware device. There were reliability issues associated with the device, and there is a new pulse modulation algorithm for heat regulation which enables the faster heat-up and if I'm not mistaken is a factor in less...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

You need to put an elbow screen inside the bottom male joint, just like with the stock elbow. I tried this using a Cloud HydraCirc. I wasn't happy with the results, couldn't get thick vapor. Not sure why. Now that a friend has a Q, I think I'll experiment again with it. Also tried using...

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

I've been diluting to the "heavy cleaning" strength to keep the cost down. But ya know, if undiluted would last a whole lot longer, and there is no risk to the glass, then I might go undiluted for convenience. Done any comparisons between effectiveness diluted vs undiluted? (And have we...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

My Cloud's warranty expires in 1 month. My unit works perfectly, so it's a tough call. I'll probably go for the upgrade. Seems like a reasonable deal - especially since I've been paying 2x the cost repeatedly servicing my GAS lately. :p EDIT: After seeing Troi's post just above, I'm more...

Are you going to ask VXL about this? Might be good to get an official response for the record, and for the community. New board in the Plus; any more info on that? I was only aware of the new firmware device.

Are you tilting your HL ~30 degrees? Doing that in effect seems to create an OK splash guard, although it will still get some water back if hit really hard.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I have an early HydraCirc and agree that is has very little drag with nice diffusion for its size; simple and effective. I also have a HydraLine which has virtually no drag and very smooth soft fizz diffusion. (I've read that the Showercap is as drag free; it uses the least water.) The HL is...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

You're reading too much into these posts. Thanks for that post, I was hoping someone would make it crystal clear that voltage surges are an entirely different animal than incoming wave fluctuations from the grid. Ranges which are perfectly "legal" from the grid can of course seriously damage...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

The 5/16" x 7/16" x 1/16" silicone tubing posted here is perfect for the Q. It has great elasticity.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I purchased a CB when first available. One stopper. Smooth, no ground joint. Never been a problem since it's just a carb. Sounds like you got a bonus. :) Power flow modulation in the firmware, not a VR or the like. Changed to a new pulse modulation algorithm, which also reduces heat-up...

Yes, that is if your dab setup uses a female joint, which most seem to be (and for which reason pieces like the Mobius tubes come with both male and female joints). so you'll probably need an 18/19mm male/male.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Yes, length is a factor. So is tubing size: The stock is 5/16" ID. Extrapolate that 1/16" difference over 5' and you've reduced airflow considerably.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

The comments appear to be running as to be expected. Some data - The FC membership now constitutes <10% of the number of Cloud customers, probably even less. Translation: We are no longer statistically representative. There have been thousands of units shipped. The run rate is increasing...

VXL has come a long way and put their money where their mouth is. Congratulations SM and team! And great news for all of us Cloud "investors". But inquiring minds still want to know: What about those VXL silicone bands? And are they redundant with the new "cooler to the touch" enhancement?
