    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I don't mean to be sticky about this, but . . . MBW and I are already in for a different Perk. If we contribute $100 to the "no perk" option, when VXL combs thru the data they will see our first contribution which speaks for itself, and then this separate $100 contribution w/o any explanation...

Assuming that works, where will it be recorded that the $100 is to be combined with your unfulfilled $150? Does that require a Support Ticket on the VXL site?

Same here. The ALT adapters I have are shaped with a ledge/handle/whatever in the center which prevents the female end from sitting far enough down on the Q's male. IIRC I tried the ELB in the male end of the adapter, but the leaking airflow compromised that (and shrank the ELB too, so it is...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Koop, I may have some good news for you. (The caveat is that, again, mine is an older unit and the internals in yours may be different.) The strain relief has a small tab on the section outside the shell. I was able to push it in tightly and work the strain relief free from the shell. You'll see...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

EDIT: I had just posted that it would probably be a problem getting inside the shell because of the switch being hardwired into the front of the PCB, on the opposite side of the power cord. I took another look at my disassembled unit and my memory may be faulty, i.e., it may be possible to...

Oops, my error. Thanks for the correction.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

It depends on your grinder, they vary. And the herb will make a difference too in a particular grinder. Personally I like a good 4-piece that "fluffs" the herb. I have a 4" Space Case for when I want to load up my airtight stash case, and a 1.5" Santa Cruz Shredder for single-session loads. The...

IIRC the standard warranty remains 1 year.

Didn't anyone notice the dog (a pug?) in SM's first Q&A vid? Watching the dog navigate the stairs, one tail wag per stair, definitely upstaged the monkey. The beagle has competition.

All the banter here about names is fun and all, but might I just remind that the FC community, in particular the subset active in this thread, is a very small fraction of your intended market? For VXL to be successful in the long-term, you gotta reach far beyond us nut cases here. How many of...

Good grief, not "HP". For numerous reasons. CloudER is too clever by half, and clunky. CloudXL works OK. It might even work for the current new unit. Except, adding an "XL" is rather common and pedestrian; it implies incremental added value not revolutionary advance. :myday: :2c:

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

It occurred to me that my post could have been read two ways . . . I was ref''g to the mouthpiece cracking, not the stir stick. Actually I've found the stir stick to be fairly, er, sturdy. Except when I sit on it. But then again, I've got a boney ass. :D

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

No, not at all. I'm always quite careful. I had seen it suggested before, slipped it into the mouthpiece, glass cracked. From the look of it, I suspect there was a flaw in the piece. After all, these aren't boro. ;)

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I broke the mouthpiece doing this. As a side note, after a couple hits the pressure will equalize and the vapor will remain in the bag.

That sure is a beautiful piece, Tstat. I have a CB and IMO it is perfect. With the two 90 degree angle female joints and the ability to rotate the male, it works very well with a lot of different configurations. I use it with all my Mobius pieces. I've also have 45 adapters, and the CB works...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

One thing you can count on in this thread is the every-couple-weeks-or-so question about tubing. Finally there was a thread created here devoted only to tubing. ;) The tubing MGK bought includes this in its description: While that is a U.S. specification body, it is recognized...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

IIRC the HA uses a considerably more powerful pump compared to the Q's fan. That said, you can still get very thick vapor with the Q, it just takes some experimenting with the load size, dryness and grind of your herb, fan speed, temp. Takes some patience. On the other hand, IMO the Q is...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Not quite impossible, but difficult enough that you may lose a fingernail (or your mind). And it gets worse if you use less expensive oven baking bags because those bags are more square than the Arizer bags, and so there is more material to be gathered which means a larger wad to push that...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

The stock pvc is "food" (or "medical") grade, IIRC the NSF-51 rating is imprinted on it. Yes it is inflexible and for some has an odor (for a while), but it is perfectly safe with a heat tolerance well above the vapor temp. Similar looking pvc in auto or hardware stores is not at all the same...

Not to worry. We'll leave glass and accessory inspection to you. That will free up Nimbus testing for the rest of us. :D
