    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Probably not. :D (Didn't we cover this in the Mobius thread?) I use the CB with both the larger Micro Clear and the Ion because the CB fits better in the Clear's joint than does the Cloud, the CB puts the Cloud comfortably away from my face, and especially for the carb so I don't have to...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I could not find it in a hw or big box store, including online. Take a look at this thread: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/whip-tubing-all-your-questions-answered.3311/ Not mentioned in that thread is availability from Amazon. In the U.S., users typically buy from Amazon, McMaster, or...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Yes, I pull the cap and do a quick stir. I use a tool with a very thin long nose so little if any material sticks to it. Like you, I get another couple few hits that way. I can't speak for VXL of course, but IME this will be determined country by country. It probably won't be practical for...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Many vape companies use a two-tier distribution model. The manufacturer has a contract with distributors. Distributors in turn recruit and have contracts with resellers; these resellers buy product from the distributors and do not have any direct relationship with the manufacturer. The discount...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

If you have an oil, use the cotton ball in the cyclone; probably about 160C to start with and work up from there. If the hash is solid/pressed/wax then I break it up and mix it with the flowers, then vape in the cyclone. Or you can try using the elbow-pack method with it. You'll need a higher...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I haven't seen any exclusion of the bamboo in the terms of the warranty. It's a matter of how the bamboo was broken. Clearly it will typically be the user's fault, so no coverage. But if the unit itself malfunctions causing damage to the bamboo (as unlikely as that would be), IMO it would be...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Seek is a very creative FC member who has modded his Q to - IIRC - essentially fit an elbow-pack into the center aperture of the cyclone so that it is closer to the heater. Should be able to find it with a Search using his name. There may be another mod or two that are similar, not using the Q...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

The most common setup is a shortened whip from the Q with the second elbow (or an adapter) in place of the mouthpiece attached to a 18/19mm GonG joint on the water piece. Just about any GonG piece will work, but there are significant diffs in drag and ease-of-use. Personally I think the...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I don't have oils but do have pressed hash . . . fwiw . . . the only thing I like about the two-cap method is that, if you're combining with flowers in the ELB, that ELB can be reloaded if the material in the cap is not spent yet. But I don't like how it can render the caps/ELB ill-fitting...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I don't mean this sarcastically in the least . . . read the manual. It's far from great, but there are snippets of info important to using the Q, e.g., changing settings with the display buttons, or recommended fan speeds. Be prepared to drive yourself crazy though, trying to understand the...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

My post . . . Note: Power, not heat. While the latter follows the former, they are not the same thing. More efficient delivery can result in less power being consumed to deliver the same heat. (Less power draw will also reduce heat elsewhere in the unit, hence the likelihood of that...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Not theory; data from the horse's mouth. The firmware, the glass heat chamber, and the ELB design have arguably been the key breakthrough technologies in the Cloud. The firmware has been the most challenging to get nailed down, and it turned out that the device itself was a factor as well as the...

    Mobius Glass

Well, that's kinda cool. Does the 14mm reducer add a little drag? (I wouldn't do this with my Cloud though, looks like it would still require being supported by hand.)

    Mobius Glass

When I posted earlier re being able to "angle" the Cloud relative to the Ion - may have been a poor choice of words - I was referring to the swivel that's possible. You can position the Cloud directly opposite the neck or you can swivel the CB in the radius to the left or right a couple inches...

    Mobius Glass

You put the Cloud in the CloudBuddy's outside joint. The carb side is into the dewaar. And with the stability of the Ion's base, you can angle the Cloud for more distance. You see the vapor immediately coming out of the matrix and filling the can.

    Mobius Glass

If you mean, can you see the milk fill the can, well I certainly can. With the little Ion the can is very close, that's one reason I prefer to use the CloudBuddy with it - puts it a couple inches aside and I don't need to lift the Cloud to clear. The pull on the Ion and the Clear is definitely...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I will. Note, adding a whip may add considerable drag.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

IIRC I had the temp at 200-210C. I really tried to get it to work with the ELB because I don't like the drag from the elbow pack; all I got from that was poor extraction and a ruined ELB. I need to run the experiment again sans ELB.

Yes, the volume is greater, close to the 65b. As jam posted, both the Ion and the Clear are incredibly easy to draw and so smooth. But personally I think the Clear may be just a tad easier because of the larger intake. To milk the Clear's can and clear it in a single hit entirely fills my lungs...
