After you soak the ez bowls you can pour the used iso back into the canister, using a funnel, if you want to try to keep the iso as clean as possible you can use a ccoffe filter also. Let me know if that cleared it up! Thanks

The lights blinking lets you know that the unit has auto shutoff the heater. The lights will continue to blink until you turn it off the power switch.

The auto shutoff will go on until the user switches it off, but no heating is going on inside the unit during the auto-shutoff alert behavior. Hope this clears that up.
