Off course the oring is there for insulating. I don't think he put it there for adding some silicone stylee to that metal.

I think the heater is titanium. The ferrous thing is not the only factor for IH with a metal alloy. It's more about conductivity in general I think.

I confused with the torch issue with another member. You should follow PP' s technique as it seems to work better in practice. Induction is different and depends on the heater shape and material combined with the characteristics of the wand coil and power so you can't wild guess the technique...

I don't know before I get mine. Maybe there is a difference between wands ? @General Disaster We can clearly see PP getting at least OK vapor in the vid with the wand and the TA3. The fact that you don't succeed with a torch even small makes me think there is a technique issue.

@General Disaster PP said you have to let the top of the heater with the screw and disc through the top hole of the wand. Did you try this ?

Yes that's what he meant I did a confusion I think we all get these from PP as a decapper. EU direct order for me

He told the adapter doesn't suit this new versions. At least the 2,3,4 not quite sure for the 7 hole one.

PP told me that development of a VI for the TA4 is not sure yet. I went for the 3 as I don't plan on cleaning or changing the balls often. And I think the curious ones that want to fiddle with the balls would have enough dexterity to pop off and replace a screen.

Of course the farther from the bowl you heat the less condution you have by heating the air intake where the balls are and less the bowl.

I guess phattpiggie has intensively tested this ? Especially aknowledging his history and vids he posted hitting it... but if we think very long term indestructible for ever mode maybe you got a point ?:hmm: but adjustable airflow is a yes yes for me. Especially with an adjustable bowl. Also...

No finger on the trigger means waiting to shoot. Maybe some test units I guess

I got my finger on the trigger for my first TA :brow:. Even if I think there will be enough for everybody . I am hesitating between the 2 adjustable airflow ones. The third one which could take a VI like the tempest is excluded for me because it's not sure this will happen. The candidates...

The point is this clickers are all a bit different. You can also be happy to have a loud cool down click, not hearing it can also lead to combustion. Life's a bitch and than you diiie, that's why we puff laaa.

On my fusion Og the click is pretty loud, thé cool down click is faint though, sometimes I think I missed it while in fact it didn't click yet, reheat and combust.

Technically when you completely plug the hole the airflow takes the shorter path through the tip and doesn't come in contact with your finger. That would be the case if you partially plugged the hole with your finger. I also find it usefull as mentionned before because the heating after the...

Yes that last thing. I just clean it visualy with the stirring tool and it lasts longuer between cleanings. Also the wpa is very easy to clean. The nice thing is it has some margin to be fully clogged. I also like it a bit clogged, when it's fully clean I tamp the airport a bit for restriction...

I agree that's why I prefer to heat it with the kitchen torch than the wand. It has noticeably more of a conduction taste with the wand. I don't know if it's because it heats longuer or if the wand heats "deaper". The big difference with the dynavap is that there is a layer of air between the...
