thank you, that's a lamart stem (probably by glass charile) 18mm joint. it seals with the PEEK opening above the bowl. but i think 14mm with thick grommet should work even better if it can be somewhat jammed in the bowl for a more secure fit. hear hear on the dosing caps, jingle jingle, santa's...

    Vapman

after finally trying some hash in the vapman (lovely experience), i cleaned my sieve and gave it a bit of heat treating to better match the pan <3

    AirVape Legacy Pro

well i took your advice and reached out to airvapeusa, thank you. the now famous bernadette completely turned things around for me by offering a replacement unit free of charge (obviously gladly accepted)! meanwhile the smell of plastic completely went away on both of the units currently in my...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

i just had a vision of a future airvape legacy pro: the vape path was moved in the (removable) door/cover and consequently the resulting unit was much more compact (narrow) with a fully removable vape path. the top got hotter but some sort of vegan fabric saved it.

    AirVape Legacy Pro

a bit of update on this: after fully cleaning and carefully inspecting both of them, i concluded only the 1st one i opened has some issues: robot farting lingered for a long time, too much play in the hinge also makes the door a bit difficult to open/close sometimes, loose mouthpiece, slightly...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

did i offend you somehow? what's with the personal attacks lol? regarding airflow, i was testing for leaks, in what's supposed to be an isolated airpath. it's not sealed unfortunately. after opening the other ALP, the plastic smell is much more noticeable on that one so the good news is surely...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

is the flexing/movement on the hinge/door, bottom and USB slot normal? 3rd cell in, after multiple burnoffs and a couple of (surprisingly hard hitting) bowls, i think the plastic aroma is barely noticeable (max temp). and covering the bottom air intake and testing airflow restriction reveals the...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

ok well damn my units are here, do i need to clean it before 1st use? burnoffs? battery seems fully charged. edit: 1st impression i love it, seems solid and compact. started a max temp burnoff, getting a just hint of robot fart now. 3d burnoff now, still smelly and unfortunately loose MP...

i think the ALP's bowl can hold something like 0.25 so i guess a full cap should be a bit less, like 0.2 you could fill the empty space with a concentrate pad or something to hold 0.1 of herbs flat on the bottom, but generally IME most vapes perform best with a full bowl.

pretty sure cost/performance was an important factor for s&b. i think ideally capsules should be just thick enough to prevent easy or accidental deforming. IMO s&b caps are too thin and bend, but healthy rips caps are too thick and negatively impact performance, and xmax caps seem just about...

thank you, hard to tell from that picture, seems a bit too thick to me, but hopefully not a loss in performance. i'm sure your company did testing and such but just in case i'll share my observations on the subject of capsules perhaps it's useful. i think the reason thinner is better (eg: s&b...

The Angus Halogen Vape by YLL Vape

+ @oddjobold strongly disagree with this. nothing to do with race of nation. even western companies with very rudimentary devices like anvil or dynavap often come under the same level of scrutiny here. altho perhaps this may not be true for other (chinese) manufactures, not for lack of trying...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

can you please tell us what the wall thickness is on the upcoming capsules? having recently compared capsules from HR, xmax and S&B, i think the thinner the better (within reason) in order to harder better faster stronger transfer heat inside. thank you!

    XVape XLUX ROFFU

this only works if the balls are in direct contact with the heating element, in that case they become radiators and basically increase heater's surface area. in a convection stream however they are only going to cause cooling, counterproductive to the indented result. you want as little...

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

isn't davinci conduction, more suited for mouth to lung restricted draws? i think convection, direct to lung vapes should be more in the open airflow spectrum because it's easier on the ol lungs. obviously without overpowering the heater.

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

i rip mine full throttle max temp never covering anything and get very satisfying clouds. session because i don't like holding down a button, back to back 10s long hits, not uncomfortably long. if there's a long pause between hits, obviously the bowl will cool down, and vapor production will...

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

that doesn't sound right. airflow restriction on mine is comparable to the vong, maybe just very slightly more open. IMO either not assembled correctly, or a defect.

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

due to being full convection, it requires the user to draw/move heat into the bowl and cook your herbs. IMO convection effects are less stoney than dynavap's predominantly conduction cooker, which being torch driven can also do higher temps than v3p. capsules do add some conduction and maybe...
