    Dynavap VapCap

reputation has nothing to do with it. even dynavap is still experimenting with designs, this is still very early tech for our heating purposes. the thing is there's simply too much variation of cap/tip heating properties, and even 1mm of depth adjusting (coil aiming) can make a noticeable...

i agree IH's are terribly overpriced unless DIY, and the torch is still more versatile, economical and soo much more portable. even with 2 IH's i love, i still bought 150$ worth of lighters this past month (some are for gifting). but i mean ... you still aim the torch and spin the dynavap no...

thank you! this was driving me a bit crazy, at least now i can understand were they are coming from. however, i'm not convinced the tradeoff is worth it and still think reducing the amount of play by say 50% would dramatically improve the experience. same here, 99.9% induction heating. i got...

apparently they actually LIKE this "feature" (vertical play) ... they didn't care to mention why tho, because IMO it only adds inconsistency...

strange that George doesn't see the open chamber wider coil as 100% positives. those features allow full manual control (bottom can be easily modded/added) solving any cap/tip variance issue. and the wider coil is actually more appropriate for dynavap's size than most heaters on the market which...

every one i saw so far is more towards straw yellow than green. the recently released promo on yt is so green it's almost false advertising. i don't understand why they didn't go for the deeper more toxic green at the end of the spectrum, you can see it on some rosiums by default. they said...

for beads i think ideally you want the same material and hardness as stem for structural integrity purposes. boro. i'm thinking turbulators (bead/wire/tape/geometry) are mostly cooling by creating turbulance, increasing surface area and flow velocity etc. if beads are absorbing heat it's then...

the screen and oven will get gunked up. better to make a snake and coil/stick it on the oven wall. but to avoid cleaning i make a 1.5-2cm long 1-2mm wide snake, which i then wrap i a bit of vaping cotton/rayon. then i coil it inside the bowl along the chamber wall since conduction is needed. if...

it won't seal with it but extending the omni condenser deeper inside the tip still makes for interesting, noticeable effects. instead of sealing condenser i'd rather use a carbless stem, i prefer airport play, so i actually like the effect.

you don't need the new omni. you can say the 20M has great flavor but the reality is because of the extra mass it's just lower temp on click, and most of us appreciate clouds. lower temp and flavor is achievable on any other dynavap really by heating higher on the cap or utilizing the low temp cap.

    PIRO by lamart

@coolbreeze congrats! placed my order last week, i'm so excited, i just can't hide it :)) ... any idea what to expect in terms of processing time? assuming it might take a wile if it's a one man show.

oh man i'm in trouble here lol can't decide which stem(s) to pick up with it now. after reading through the pages here i gave up on capsules and i'm stuck between glass stems: tank vs nub in addition to a long straight stem i really like the idea of a very compact setup. thinking the nub is...

has anyone tried the piro with s&b caps? or perhaps even the gold plated copper ones? was wondering if this would add a bit of conduction effect and combustion protection. and is it actually usable in this configuration?

yeah but i mean, none of those sites have a link to patents and trademarks on the main page like dynavap has: US s&b site, arizer, 7thfloor, boundless, davinci, pax, vivant, newvape, ditanium ... am i missing any US based companies? only noticed taffe bowle has mention of patents but they are...

    On Patents and Induction Heaters

how come serious business don't feel the need to plaster TM's and "Patent pending"'s over their promo materials? taking a look a s&b's page i see no mention of anything like that. do they think it somehow looks better to consumers? (it doesn't, it makes them look silly and insecure) or do they...

pretty sure some if not most of those are BS ... just like this patent claim.. i can see now why simrell and dynavap get along so well for example. trademarking common words and letters is something else. even words containing dyna are tied to preexisting items or businesses. plenty of examples...
