at that point why not just load a regular bowl, the entire reason for capsules is they close and prevent herbs from messing the device. @TigoleBitties i don't know, why have a huge metal cover only 10% of is actually useful? why have a removable glass pathway when it's not entirely removable...

but the wheel is in the lid and even fully extended it really doesn't reduce that much. i mean, i think that volume being outside the oven, or at the outer edge, can never reach proper cooking temps. it wouldn't collect so much reclaim if it did. i suppose they wanted to avoid stirring.

i actually argumented my request. care to explain why the current design shouldn't be updated? seems to me the feedback here is mostly negative relating to threading and performance. edit: a thinner cap wall should make the ALP perform closer to how it was designed, not requiring bumping up...

the S&B caps don't bend because they are unthreaded tho, but because they are made of very thin, soft metal. this however translates to ease of use (snap on) and high performance (fast heat transfer). on the opposite side of the spectrum are the ALP caps not only threaded (not needed in this...

fact is the oven doesn't cook perfectly even, as is the case with convection slanted heaters, with the top part clearly showing lighter ABV. recessing the load basically ensures no stirring required, even cooking. with a smaller bowl you still get the same effects and amount of vapor, just the...

i think more like 2 weeks ago. and stranger still the airvape IG accound advertised EU store dosing caps on monday's story. but they either ran out in under 4h or more likely there was a mixup. the ALP is out of stock as well for a while now. hopefully next week ...

according to pictures it closes prefectly with the wheel inside, i think it's reasonable to assume removing it will result in empty space abve the capsule. way i see it, the reason for adding the round profile on the top of the cap there is to prevent airflow restriction that would result from...

i imagine that if it sits perfectly and was designed with the disk there, removing it would create an empty space between the capsule top and stud, and possibly introduce vertical play as one draws air through it.

i do sessions at 180C, then bump to max for the last draw when it stops producing vapor at the intial temp. but i mostly have it ondemand, max temp, basically using it like an unregulated vape (milaana style), letting go of the button as soon as i feel taste.

i'm still impatiently waiting for fulfillment on a replacement order placed 2 weeks ago. telling myself they are probably a smol crew and likely overwhelmed in this time period. i think it's worth the wait ;)

while the part near the oven seems to be a single block of peek with a silicone grommet, the L shaped one near the mouthpiece appears to be less airtight. i'd be wary of it leaking liquid inside the unit.

@Gary-Airvape can we please have the "Smell Proof Bum Bag" added to the EU shop as well? thank you, happy holidays!

it's a bit of a pain but i got into the habit of just wiping it after every use, this seems to keep the gold bits very clean. please don't try metal tools on it, IMO the risk of damage is too high, some heat and solvent should work. i think capsules will improve the ALP immensely and despite my...

please help me out, i read them twice and still couldn't find anything relating to comparing vapes. :hmm:. and anyway i was comparing it in the same sense you were below. no hurricane, just any amount of draft really can ruin your day if you try to reload ALP on the go. even with my streamlined...

comparing against the rules on this forum? don't think so, correct me if i'm wrong. seems like a good idea to look at what makes others successful or fail, not pretend they don't exist. despite the similarity, the kcup (not a fan) comparison doesn't hold water.

come one guys please just stop it with the laziness argument and comparing it to kids and pets really? it's a vape for sneaky pete's sake, compare it to other vapes please. you can see the successful ones are convenient to reload and maintain. i really like the performance but i find this one to...

@Gary-Airvape due to being borderline unusable on the go (despite being a great performing portable), even with the unseemly but effective screen hack, i think at least 1 capsule should be included in the retail package of the ALP. perhaps in the upcoming new color version, thank you!

i'm not sure the chamber inside there is like a straight tube with the other opening toward the glass. there seems to be a bit of zigzag inside there, so IMO you should try pushing it out same direction it went in. perhaps something like a fishing hook might work to pull/grab rather than push.

it's the ryot headcase. fits the ALP perfectly IMO. someone else recommended it earlier in the thread, sry i forgot who, but thank you!
