As a TM OG owner, you have me more interested. Is the taste on-par? What is drawing you back to the Roffu?

As others before me have mentioned, taste and vapor path should be priority, while also improving performance - and if possible on-demand convection.

From what I’ve read in this thread, it seems on session mode, it utilizes hybrid heating, which uses both conduction and convection to heat the bowl. Many have reported that the temps using this mode seem higher than the the unit is set due to the additional heat from conduction.

You can leave both attached when doing the adjustment with the top and bottom plates.

Does this screen fit in the OG unit?

I am not a fan of the FW8 battery pack as well, nor do I like the odd mis-matched shape of the unit. Hopefully the performance makes up for these short-comings. The New TM battery closure looks nice, but I’m not a fan of it protruding a half inch from the top plate. IME, I never had any issue...

Is this unit going to be on-demand or session type of vaporizer? How long does it take to get to vaping temps?

I’d recommend you check out the TinyMight. It is an on-demand portable, but produces thick vapor within seconds. IMO, TM>Arizer EQ. Also, It is also readily available in Europe.

If you can spare a few more $$, the TinyMight is one of the top tier portables that is on-demand full convection.

Unfortunately FW7 is not a vape that I would choose for travel as it cannot be completely cleaned of resin. I’ve travelled with my Tinymight with no issues as only the glass mouthpiece / cooling unit requires cleaning.
