The stand is one part of the kit I’m not particularly fond of. It’s effective and does what it’s supposed to, but I wish there was a notch somewhere on the handle of the heater so it could set and rest without it slipping and the head then makes contact with the stand. Also, the stand sides...

Does anyone know the the PID has an auto-off feature? If not, I think I have a defective unit. I left it on for an hour and came back to a cold heater:shrug: That first hit was much more than I’m used to and surpassed my expectations.

So I was in a rush packing for a short vacation… I was packing up my original TM to take along for the trip. TM2 is strictly an at home device. I checked the battery level on the TM and get only 2 vibrations. First thought is - Better change the battery before leaving. I pop the battery out...

While we’re on the discussion of batteries….. I’ve never seen this battery recommended before. Molicel P28B 18650 2800mAh 40A Battery I guess the extra 5 amp over the P28A is not worth the $3 additional cost per cell?

Here’s another suggestion to check out the Roffu. It is usually compared with its cousin, xmax v3 pro, but the heater seems to hit higher temps and extract slightly better. It’s also a more pocketable size IMO.

If you are having the issue with the heater starting when inserting a battery, it’s time to contact support for a replacement.

It was confirmed in the v3 pro thread by the xmax rep that they are indeed the same heaters, both using Kanthal wire, as it heats very quickly and also used in many other vapes. They also stated that the difference is that the Roffu heater was calibrated to a higher temp profile.

Capsules for V3 pro and Roffu are interchangeable. 👍

Aluminum foil has been recommended in the past.

Once your on the startup screen, it’s 3 clicks on the power button to bring up the puff count screen.

I submitted both my TM and TM2 with a screenshot of my email order. Both were ordered direct from TM. YMMV
