"Addicted" because you vape every day?

But "Getting high" means discontinuity from steady-state. -- Can't say I like this concept. At all. Pull out your crutches only on Sundays? ;) Microdosing is all about continuity.

"Addicted" because you vape every day?

Ever watch people become dependent on 12 step voodoo? Or EST. Or Scientology, or being so hooked on BS as to go live in a jungle hell with a madman and drink Kool-aid laced with benzos and cyanide on command? Or hang out at indoctrination sessions where they teach that the world was created...

"Addicted" because you vape every day?

I believe it's significant that in many other languages the word "addicted" doesn't exist. You might say "dependent on", or even "hooked on", followed by specifically what the person is dependent on, which might be clinically relevant or not. But the whole moralizing implication isn't there. And...

    Immune system vs. cannabis

This is very hard to sort out. People need to try it on themselves or the patient, big variation. The cannabiscure article is full of misstatements. And they debate the topic of rectal absorption with some people referencing THC and others THC hemi-succinate. Apples and oranges. More guesswork...

"Addicted" because you vape every day?

It's going to boil down to some fundamental attitude issues. Maybe people who are into episodic intoxication don't understand the chronic leveling use of the same substance. I see a lot of people struggling with the ethics of crutches. Crutches don't belong in any moral consideration.

    Saionara Atomizer thread

No idea, I thought putting the link underneath works in all cases, apparently not. What browser are you running, on what OS? WHO CAN HELP US with posting images (more reliably) ?

@tennisguru1 turned me on to this great glass head and using a needle for a carb. The whip ends in another section of disposable pipette for easy-on easy-off. https://i.imgur.com/p2PBGc1.jpg

Folks addicted to the Modern Medicine is best view, go to the right. Folks addicted to the Modern Medicine is evil view, go to the left. Now where were we? Anybody here?

Good deal. Wunderbar. QED. Give the boy with the monster truck a cigar! Oh, no, wait. That's addicting.

"Addicted" because you vape every day?

Not everyone here is idolizing everything that is "natural", or bashing modern medicine. That's a different demographic split. Facts? Come now. To someone whose baseline is unbearable anxiety and suicidal thoughts, I'd say that feeling normal, non-suicidal, ranks as a survival necessity. If...

    The Official CannaBreak Thread

I was surprised that even at what I'd consider mini-dosing (say 5mg THC 2-3 times a day) it took 3 weeks to START getting a shade of a bar on the standard test strips, and well over a month to be into sure thing territory.

"Addicted" because you vape every day?

Can you please succinctly state your opinion and how it differs from The Doctrine? Am I correct in understanding that you believe regular cannabis users are "addicts", while the Majority here does not think so? If that's the entire content of your position, namely that you like this...

"Addicted" because you vape every day?

@ejackyou I believe there are many friendly and knowledgeable people around here. And there are some who enjoy confrontation. Maybe ODD, or DMDD in the DSM-5. It's just a label.

"Addicted" because you vape every day?

Why afraid? It's just not a very meaningful word now. It's been artificially redefined by various groups for their own purposes, often political. The way you used it, for instance, makes little sense. If it's a "choice" or a "want" it doesn't apply. That's the whole concept behind the origin of...

"Addicted" because you vape every day?

The word "addicted" has only recently acquired a nasty ring. It used to simply mean "dependent on", with practical considerations: as with food or insulin, it's a need. Under steady state conditions, with plentiful food, insulin and pharmaceuticals, it's irrelevant. Besides, it was nobody's...

Sir, I maybe wrongly assume, you've got a penis. When Amazons write the DSM, that will be an affliction.

    Cannabis cancer fighters

Tumors aren't of a single type. I believe there were early studies comparing regular cannabis smokers with non, looking for proof of evil effects, and they saw no increase of lung cancer, maybe a little less. On the other hand there were credible reports of increased rates of head and neck...

CBD Thread, all things CBD discussion and experience and tips

Tried swallowing 150mg of 20:1 CBD:THC oil in a cap with lecithin, which I hadn't tried before. That works out to ~100mg of CBD, with many minor cannabinoids, and ~5mg of THC. The main effect: visual sharpening, with a light anxiety suppression. It's a better quality effect than a benzo, but...
