Volute of Vapor
Hi, I got back my FlashVape I sold a while ago to a friend and he didn't used it, so we did a trade... And I noticed the FV Plug-In Adapter to be on sales on Outlet section, I got it for less than 10 bucks!

When it came at home I already prepared my FlashVape, my past bigger concern was coming from the thin screen heater which was litterally burnt with tiny holes in the metal... That's why I replaced it by thicker stainless screen mesh, and my friends, that's changes everything!! No more combustion can happen, the abv is very uniform with only a stir every 3 hits, it's definitively not a big clouds maker but it provides me deeper reliefs.
I'm not sure the battery can handle efficiently the new heating screen I installed so I'll stick with the Adapter for now!

I'm surprised we didn't though about that simple solution before, the bigger jauge keep away the T° to raise up too fast and no more metal fumes coming from the burnt OG screen... I hope (at least I don't taste it while it was the case with OG screen).

First message since up of two years... wow what's an old vaporizer... but not discontinued, it's still available on the website... hmm maybe I'll try to get the Gong...

Is somebody ordered one of the last FlashVape version for sale, maybe they proceeded a few changes...?

Does anybody still use their flashvape here? I tried getting replacement parts for mine but never got a response back from support. The internal wires kept getting burnt off and covered in reclaim.

Good question... I don't remenber to be honnest, I know it was similar to the one Alan is using in Iheat heaters, Alan is a nice guy and will probably give you the info you want. It was written to be SS316 on the packaging (no more infos of size mesh&jauge, it was hand-written!) but , since I got the exact same issues you reported, when I got my FV back from my friend I didn't even tried it under stock config, removed the stock heater screen and replaced it with a scissor cut large rectangle of the SS 316 and installed it. The jauge is considerably thicker, this is avoid the screen to turn red but heat-up is longer, I think that work better at low temp than stock config and, at high T, no more combustion risks! The mesh is a lot less tight than the stock mesh screen, larger holes. I still use the other FV screen designed to be installed on the top of the heating screen, this prevents herb bits to pass through the larger heating mesh screen. Hope this is will improve your FV sessions!
