No way it gets hot enough during usage to be a factor in this, its a bad solder joint + pressure if you ask me.

im not talking about the temperature of the batteries here, im talking about lifetime after high amp draw for multiple cycles on higher settings. The TM is probably using about ~25 amps on setting 10 considering its 70watt heater, which is above or at the CDR of the VTC6 and might impact...

Dont buy from Ebay or Amazon... Mooch has a verified reseller list but im on mobile. nkon bought mine from and is trusted. I used HE4 fine in my TM and now im using VTC5A. I personally would recommend higher amperage batteries like the Molicel P26A and the VTC5D for example just to be safe...

The VTC6 isnt 30A. Here you can find a table with different batteries, according to testing the 30Q actually score a little higher than HG2. No idea why they would perform worse in a TM tho i havent tested them, im using VTC5A.

Should work fine, they are in the same league as the VTC6 and HG2

Where does this tube holder tightening come from? It doesnt make sense. The o ring simply is smaller than the stem, if you take out the o ring and put it around the stem it will already be a seal or if you insert the stem without the tube holder, if it isnt your o ring is dried out or something...
