@Stu LMK if that worked. Xfered everything iver to Imgur... I think!

In the meantime, here's some of that Nano porn I promised. Yea, I know the money shot didn't show... lighting at this time of day sucks terribly. At least I recorded in landscape and closed my closet door! lol.

And as always, remember to turn up that resolution for maximum enjoyment!

:mmmm:

Mine has left the sorting facility in LA yesterday, best case it's here on tuesday. In the meantime, big ol' EV-2 is anticipating the arrival of his little sister.

I've got the imgur app on my iphone and I can post pics with a quickness. I just wish I could find a work around for having to delete the (img) at the front and back of the address each time.

You have two choices. You can paste the link directly into your post without using the Image button, or you can select the Direct Link URL from the imgur app and paste it into the popup from the Image button. All the Image button does is add the IMG tags around the link.

I'm really digging this figured walnut now - it's got a holographic effect - two different grain patterns depending on which angle I look at it! Need to set up my photo booth and try getting some nice shots sometime this weekend.

After a few months on the Lotus, it's nice to have the ability to select a lower temperature (6.4 seems about right) for my early morning pre-work sessions.

Both my GONG's have screens installed in opposite directions, so I don't know which is the proper direction currently, but I've still got a bunch of reading on this thread to catch up on! Also need to get some cotton installed, my D020-W looks like crap without cotton (but my Cranberry Extract is doing a great job preventing rez buildup!)

:clap::clap:
Would you like to show us a comparison using the same flower in each? :D

Absolutely, I usually pack my Lotus pretty full (2/3rds full for a large load). My ABV always looked half-finished. Side by side it's quite noticeable - speckled light and dark ABV from the Lotus - consistent chocolate brown from the Nano. When I set up for taking picts of my Nano, I'll also snap a shot of the ABV side by side. I bet if I tried hard (and used smaller loads) - the Lotus ABV would be more consistent. But I knew I would re-use it in my Nano, so I was more careless with unfinished loads.

I'm getting a few good draws off my Nano with Lotus ABV - definitely takes more to get medicated, but I've got a huge stash of Lotus ABV to play with!

Edit: I should make mention here that this is a custom Walnut Nano, v1.
I still haven't gotten any bombass butter for it. It's gotten some coconut oil on it, occasionally, but I think it still looks fabulous.

People use the screens both directions. I had mine as a "basket" (open end towards nano) for the first few months I had one until @Caligula posted about flipping it over. IMO this is the way to go! Open end away from nano. Don't be afraid to nudge it up or down until you find your particular sweet spot. And, that will change depending on material you're using and other factors (type of bubb, heat setting, etc).

Have you tried anything fresh through it yet, Ratchett? Different tokes for different folks I suppose, but my ABV is strictly for cooking. The flavor from the first hit of a nano load is hard to top!

I was mistaken, both of my GONG's are pointing the way you stated, open end away from the nano - and indeed it seems to be working great.

I started this afternoon with QWISO when I got home from work (first time trying it using reclaim from screens and such). And now I'm currently enjoying some fresh herbs right now.

Trying to stretch the last bit of fresh stuff I have for another few days, so I've been trying to alternate sessions between good stuff and ABV/reclaim.

Loving my nano - it's an awesome vape so far.

Question - do most of you find your favorite temperature setting and always use it? Or do you try a lower setting for the first few draws, then increase temperature to finish off the herb?

As I said above, I do the lower setting for the first hit when I remember - though probably not much point in it unless using fresh material. For me, that's just a tad below 6 (but, my dial tops out at 9.5 - so probably just below 6.5 for most). Then hit it up to about 6.4 for the rest. This is on the jhanpixel sidecar. It varies a little depending on which bubb, and how the stash is - not just potency or flavor, but also dryness, fineness of grind, etc. Depending on what I have left on the chore list or how close to bedtime, who might be visiting, and other variables, my dial could be anywhere from 5.5 to 7 for flowers.
