It must be one of those newfangled "version 2" E-Nanos that I've been hearing about... otherwise, I think we have a problem! (BTW @ACE OF VAPE thanks for using that reusable Velcro "zip-tie". I love those things, I use them for everything.)

...And the cord isn't even stretched out! And did I mention how much BETTER this cord is (flexibility wise) than my old one? Its like night and day!

The dimmer feels more solid than my original model. Given a nice solid audible and tactile "click" (more so), and the printing seems to be much more beefy (thank god)! Also there seems to be more tension in the knob, which means it wont change settings so easily.

In the meantime, here's some of that Nano porn I promised. Yea, I know the money shot didn't show... lighting at this time of day sucks terribly. At least I recorded in landscape and closed my closet door! lol.

And as always, remember to turn up that resolution for maximum enjoyment!

My nano has arrived!

Holy SHIT this thing is thorough. Has anyone ever shown a side by side of the Lotus ABV to the Nano ABV? It's clear as day more efficient

I'll admit at first, I found the figured walnut rather boring and disappointing. Upon closer inspection (and not a 5 minute glance at lunchtime), it's starting to show it's true brilliance. But I still lust for some extremely exotic wood (Damn you @Snappo - teasing me with your exotic wood!)...:razz:.. Maybe in a few months I'll get a fully custom nano.

Also I noticed that while they shipped my GONGs, they forgot the glass wand for dry hits! No worries, I'm sure Andy will take care of me. But I was looking forward to a dry hit through the wand... Maybe I can rig up a GONG to my J-hook and make a nice sipper....

Question - how do you prevent your herb from falling into the heater? Do you never use the nano in the upright position?

And how far do you typically prefer your herb from the heat port? Is 5mm too far away?

How come nobody has liked this? Why are you being blackballed? I like the porno music choice for the exotic btw!

Been a while since I've been in this thread. I am loving those exotic nanos. I am going to have to get one for myself later this year. :D

In the meantime I still have old reliable here to get me by. This thing is a fucking tank...it takes all types of use and abuse and just keeps working without any problems. Its always there for me.

Side note...the basket screens are excellent. I ordered some to use with my new JoDa Glassworks stem & GonG and I am super impressed. MUCH easier than the old method of cutting a screen down.

GonG to J-hook should be pretty close to the same - except maybe a little cooler because further path (prob cooler looking, too!).

5mm is plenty close. I'm usually between there and 7-8.

If I think about it, I like to start with heat a little lower and about 5mm. You get a nice tasty hit. Then bump the heat up a notch (about 1/2 for me), nudge the screen down a smidge while you give it a stir, and finish it up with a couple good clouds.

The heat responds quickly (<1 min.) if not going more than 1 full number in either direction. You just have to remember to turn it back down and nudge the screen back up when you reload if you want to do it again.
