The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I am in the same boat but have had no problems with my unit other than a high pitched frequency noise that only some people with good hearing can hear... It affects my tmj and kills my right ear sometimes but thats off topic. I bought mine from myrubberneck off ebay for 180 altogether and Arizer told me with proof of purchase I could use my warranty no problem. If you try the elbow method again man make sure not to pack too much in it. About half is good and don't pack it down too tightly. Also, with the elbow pack method you can turn down the temp a fair bit if you want those tasty terps. Depending on how dry my bud is, I start at 185 C or 190. Then after one or two hits stir that up put it ten degrees higher, toke up, bowls cashed now.
I asked arizer and myrubberneck is an authorized re-seller.
I ended up buying it on torontovaporizer. 180 with shipping and a Zeus grinder with Canada day coupon.

are you using bags ? i heard they were kinda crackly .
are you using the original ones ?
I don't use bags anymore actually. Mostly just used them when I first got my vape. Now I vape through my bong and its awesome. Look back a page or two to check out my setup if you're interested :)
But ya, i did just use the stock bags when I used this feature

The stock pvc is "food" (or "medical") grade, IIRC the NSF-51 rating is imprinted on it. Yes it is inflexible and for some has an odor (for a while), but it is perfectly safe with a heat tolerance well above the vapor temp. Similar looking pvc in auto or hardware stores is not at all the same. The silicone tubing many if not most of us here use is also NSF-51. It can be found at Amazon, McMaster-Carr, or US Plastic, 5/16" ID x 7/16" OD.

I did my first bag lastnight at bedtime.. it was good.. I can see the benefit when you've got company too.. not sure if it's going to become a mainstay for me or not..

Bag assembly can be a bitch! Wish I could say it get's easier, but not so much IME. First one is the worst, tho.

Check out this vid for a tutorial. Easier than trying to figure out the instructions.

Took me an hour , and now power failure due to forest fires .. God dammit !

EDIT:

Power back on ,I did run it at 500 with fan on for 15mins, no smell after that but smelled like a hairdryer at first.
