So I decided to buy the solo just now at vaposhop with the 10% off from FC.
The last few weeks I've let my father vaporize a few times as his meds didn't cut it and he was in a lot of pain. He's a cronic back pain sufferer. So we tried a few times with the volcano and it seems like it did him good.
I hope that the solo will deliver without beeing to harsh on the troath. But if it's to harsh for his taste I'll have a home for it in my personal collection.

The Pelican cases seem very popular for carrying your Solo around.
Just do some modification and you have a great case for your Solo + adaptor
Pelikan 1150, Pelikan 1200, more Pelikan.
If it is too harsh on the throat try a water tool, maybe a mini bubbler, what also helps is a stem extension. (2)

Indeed a water tool might be an option. But then again, I like the simplicity. I can load it up and give it to him. And without much explanation he has a hassle free vape.
Anyway, I might look into that if it becomes a problem. For now I'm sure it'll do it's job as is

Don't worry about them for the first week.
It was a year before I started using screens.
However I do love them.
Order them and start practicing!
Ebay on the left lots of 500 (1/2") for cheap!
Planet Vapes on the right cost more
however air flow benefit!

You can use a small piece of tissue as a screen for a temporary solution. It will require changing it much more often than having a screen though but it works.

But i have some screen from eq, pipe and mini bong so maybe this time i'm a lucky duck.

Any pipe screen will do , get the fine screen ones if possible .
You might have to trim it down to size with a pair of nail clippers .
It seems .5 inch fits the best .
or
Don't fine grind your herbs into powder form , you can also do a whole nug .
I never thought of using a tissue , but I'm guessing a piece of coffee filter will do also ...

Does anybody NOT clean their stems for the purpose of reclaiming?
How do I reclaim?
I think I read somewhere about simmering it in a pot of milk then adding hot chocolate?
I cant remember the step-by-step instruction for that recipe. If anyone can help that'd be cool.

You basically gave yourself the steps 
Insert dirty stem into a pot of full fat milk.
Simmer until the stem is clean.
Remove stem.
Add hot chocolate to taste.
I normally soak my stems in ISO and Evap off for reclaim oil, but I've read good things about reclaim hot chocolate

so the stem should be completely clean of resin?
how dirty does the stem need to be to produce a good, potent cup of hot chocolate?
i've had the solo for over a month now and always clean the stems every 2 days.
im now regretting all the resin i couldve reclaimed!!
and all the abv bud i just flushed down the toilet!! i just started saving abv 3 days ago haha

Pretty much, if its not clean, there is still more you could've melted out into the milk.
No idea how dirty it needs to be, but the dirtier the better. It would depend how much you vape (how long it takes to get dirty enough), and your tolerance (how dirty it would need to be).

I have been using mine for I think two months now without cleaning. I do rotate stems but the bent is almost ready and my brand new pvhes will be ready soon. I also have the iso jar from when I was cleaning them often so will evap that for oil.

Does anybody have the DG Mini/Micro Bub w Fritted Disc?
I want to see a video of it paired with the Solo.
I've been searching for bub to pair with it and settled on the Lev Lattice but now I am considering the DG Micro Bub.
What's the difference between the Micro and the Mini anyway? All I can see from the specs listed on ALT is the Micro is half an inch taller.
Is the fritted disc a flavor robber?
I want to see a video of it paired with the Solo.

I do notice a bit of flavor loss with my custom fritted piece from GBD. I prefer lots of diffusion though. And a little flavor is usually a sacrifice you make for that much diffusion.
