Fridge storage would POSSIBLY hurt. If it gets cold enough and thaws itll add moisture or condensation to the inside/outside of cart, battery, or the actual persei unit and electronics.

Have considered this as well. Then someone else chimed in and said "better off not".

If talking just the cart, the cart has electronics as well that could damage at cold temps or moisture.

Have considered this as well.

You might want to get the facts straight and then rethink the idea. There are no "electronics" in the cart. Two resistors and some wire. And the resistors are bare wire, and immersed in the oil. Less than a foot total of the two types of wire (one for the resistors, the other copper), no electronic components.

I've posted the photo of the insides several times. As have others.

DubC (an employee/agent of THC) has told us it's OK. I'll put my trust in his advice and advise the same.

G counters with the same possible situation of condensation.

Not saying that condensation would hurt anything, but it could. But so could oxygen be a killer, and humans live on it.

Situational circumstances.

I store my carts (only the carts) in the fridge in small "doob" tubes. Since they are sealed before placing in the fridge, they don't "sweat" moisture when they re-warm to room temps. I let them come back to room temp before using them.

G supports the theory.

Your foot is about 4- to 6+ feet from your mouth OF...

Not a bit of it. He does not support your theory, in fact quite the contrary as I read it, his "one issue i would find about putting it in a fridge would be condensation" which I take to be moisture in the concentrate not some mythical electronics.

DubC has said it's done and made no reservation.

What have I said that is not true? I'm happy to back up what I say. OTHO, you........

Not saying that condensation would hurt anything, but it could.

Not the issue, is it? What you did say is "the cart has electronics as well" (even though you've edited it to try to cover your tracks....). That was just plain incorrect. And misleading. You tried to come off as an authority and made an innocent mistake (I think) but then you compound it by what might pass for intentional deception. IMO pretty sad. Man up or not, but please don't accuse me of putting my foot in my mouth, not knowing what I'm talking about or being unwilling to back it up?

TIA

Brother, Hostility.

This is a comment. As was said... Wanted to try this before, but was told by someone on the forum not to. Otherwise would have used to store it in the fridge during work, away from the heat of the outdoor sun. First fragment of the post was "Fridge storage would POSSIBLY hurt.", unedited. Never said it would. Believed it would. Someone had said it before; considered that it may in fact affect it, and never tried storing it in there. Would never know if it would damage or not without actually ever doing it. Thereof it would be a theory. Those who have done it without issue, This is news. Could have used this info. Not trying to mislead, but when someone leading misleads its hard to know where anyone is. and no, no one who is talking currently is misleading. someone in past 50 pages ago when porquiplane asked the question answered you should not/suggested not.

Your told a hat in a box is black, and you walk around believing it is black without ever seeing it, only to find it is gray. *Perception is everything*

Only went off theory, what was perceived, and what was initially misled. and its not just about following the leader, thats known. its about convincing theories, if it makes LOGICAL sense to you (use your knowledge and intelligence), why not believe it?

And OF, if its so sad, why does Porquiplane keep editing posts that are believed wrong? Doesnt want to mislead anyone.

Everyone is here for the same reason, if Porquiplane was the one dirtball misleading, whyd porquiplane spend time on here??? Trolling? Better things to do than troll wrong info to people with similar interest.

But the same assumption is standing, if its put in the fridge, condensation could damage it. It being anything pertaining to the cart. Will split the hair and say could damage the load. The secondary assumption was cleared up during your first post saying there are no electronics. Just believed that resistors and wiring and heaters could/would be considered electronics/ or the finer tuned "electronic components" as it is a systems of connections of electricity; but also that moisture could damage any of those things. Water and electricity arent known as the most amicable. If its wrong it will be edited. Dont want to post anything incorrect, as its good to be looking out for others. Just trying to help others is all. whether its unknowingly incorrect or not, never intentional.

From my understanding it would prevent it if it is vacuum sealed.

Once you close the cart inside a sealed tube, there is very little air or moisture inside. When you take a cold cart out of the fridge that hasn't been enclosed in the tube, the cart will have a lot of moisture condensing on it from the ambient air contacting the very cold cart as it comes up to room temperature. Just like a glass beer bottle gets wet when you take it out of the fridge.

When the cart is in the same container from the time you put it in the fridge at room temp. until you open it up again at room temps for use, I don't get any condensation on the carts as they are protected from the outside air which is usually laden with moisture (humidity) that causes the condensation to form. I guess it could be called an insulated, moisture protecting barrier tube . Once a cart warms to room temp inside the tube, the changes in temperature cause condensation (if any) to end up on the outside of the doob tube rather than the metal cart.

I hope that helps.

Hi
I read there was a small set back with the 1701 carts, any word on the Hercules cart?
Is it still in testing or is it in production now?
Thanks G! Hope you get some sleep.

I have spoken with many people about these products, some store their carts in a fridge. Nobody is right or wrong by doing so. Suggestions are not demands, try it out if you want to!

Depends a bit on the pocket I guess, but I use ones like this (I got them elsewhere):
http://www.madvapes.com/yellow-battery-case-1.html

Two big ones or four small (two changes). They have square corners so don't do well in tight pockets, but protect against shorts and other problems and keeps them clean, ready, and easy to get to. I put fresh ones in one way ('pointing' left or up depending), used ones the other.

I fully agree with the value of not posting incorrect information. Thanks very much for (IMO very belatedly) 'liking' my efforts to do so (rather than accuse me of all sorts of stuff....). IMO we're on the same page now.

I think it was made all the more confusing and contentious by 'editing out the evidence' rather than simply correcting it in the traditional manner (showing the previous statements as they happened so it would 'all fit together' to those trying to understand).

I agree, it may read awkwardly but the information now presented is no longer misleading. That's the important part. We can, and should, move on to useful stuff. I disagree somewhat, opinions are important too. Facts, OTOH, need to be subject to review and question if they are going to have real value.

Thanks.

This thread is getting nauseating, i have my persei collecting dust, as the oil carts were just a waste of time and money from my experience, i really hope this herb thing gets figured out soon so maybe i can find some use for it.

Whats the summary so far, persei, got the heatrod attachment, concentrate carts are too variable in quality and success.

so basically oil is marginal, heatrod works ok with the higher temp one. and...

STILL waiting for herb cart? ... am i missing something? anything new or fixed?

I sent a message regarding my order on Delta9Vapes on Aug 29th, and have not heard back yet.

My order didn't come with the white caps. Wasn't it supposed to? Order # 5151.

Thanks!

Hercules does oils with out any issues at 7.4v, 1701's getting the molding treatment, and the Universe is being shipped out on monday for testing.

Thanks (for the lighting fast response). I don't think I ever received any message back. My other two questions were already answered here. But yea that's a bummer about the white caps, I should have checked before pre-filling a cart :hmm:.

If a cart is leaking out of the bottom (thread area) when standing upright, does that mean my oil is too runny?

I think you made a typo in your last post when trying to type 'typo' lol

P.S. Week two and still loving my persei...worst part about it is sharing though; gotta give a course on not breaking it each time :/ haha
Thanks

where and when are the release dates for the three items you mentioned?

I got my unit earlier this year and after using it for a month or so, i stopped because of leaks and problems with design overall, battery burning out carts way too fast, in a day or two if i was lucky with moderate and even light use.

Just want something that is reliable i know will work, and i will certainly buy.

but the whole carts to save or conserve, is funny to me as i have not had that experience.
