Hi guys, does anyone had this sensibility problem on tm1 or has an idea on how to solve it? Sometimes it also remain turned on (and discharge all the battery). Maybe removing the tape it could help, I don't know. But I m sure that I used it for many months with this small piece of tape without any issue.

Hi, i m still here with this issue.
I cleaned it all (contacts, even batteries) with food alcohol and removed the Grey tape that I putted behind the button. I replaced it with just paper.
Even if I feel an improvement, I still have this sensibility issue (sometimes it turns off when I touch the button to start heating it or just after starting vibration).
The issue is more related to the paper that I should remove (but sounds weird as it doesn't interfere with electricity) or to close more the long screw? It's already pretty tight.
Or anything that could help me would be appreciated.

I would guess you have a loose connection somewhere. Sounds like it needs a trip to Finland.

Well, there is no "issue" in the button itself, I just wanted to not make it shake, that's why I added paper. I m sure that other tm1 owner has this issue (my batch it's around 2.5-3 years ago, I don't know if after they fixed it).
Maybe if I remove the paper it will shake a bit more but the problem could be fixed.
Regarding warranty, well it's about 10 years so of course!... That I will not use it, as now I m finally away from sick Europe and I already let them fix it around a year ago. So or tm1 is a bad vaporizer in the long time, or I just have to remove that piece of paper.

I’m waiting to get the update as well. About to pull the trigger on a Tinymight and I just want to have all the information about the three models before I decide on buying one. Price will factor into the decision sadly for me.

But based on the above post, I may just pull the trigger on the walnut if there is no difference. I wanna start using a nice vape for the summer and retire the FF2+

I’m not too sure that they’re the exact same, due to the price and me hearing multiple sources say the purple heart version has upgraded internals as well as less glass for better durability.
But at the same time I much prefer the look of the new black version and the original walnut.

Seeing them not being able to disclose anything right now doesn’t give me confidence that it’ll be any time soon though.

From what I’ve seen it sounds like the purpleheart version came out with the new heater design and reduced glass, but now most of the changes have been ported to the walnut model and the only major differences are the wood, zirconia vs glass on the heater sleeve, and that the purpleheart comes with a dosing capsule, but I’m not certain. I ended up picking up the purpleheart version during the 420 sales since it for sure has the updated internals, came with a dosing capsule and most importantly used a different wood than all my other devices.

The new black one will be more expensive, so if that is already a strong factor for you, there's absolutely no reason to wait. Yeah just buy the walnut TM2 (with aftermarket glass stems hooks)

I would advise to get a TM2 asap if you looking to get one ." however provide no reason as to why to get one ASAP.. like are costs going up across the board.. tariff hits.. v3 won't be for months.... kind of weird to provide urgency with no reason.. just my .02 on the matter.. sales are surely occurring anyways.... maybe an attempt to deplete inventory so they can push v3 (black) or get it to market quicker without so many v2 units in stock.. idk.. just my biz side looking at the angles.. i don't care for the black aesthetic but am interested in any internal updates coming for it and if they will then apply to other woods... seems chances are slim but i'm sure they know a bunch of folks are waiting on info to decide if 710 they nab something or they hold off till possibly fall

I was confused by that as well, if it’s just another tm2 update like the purple heart was, why would they say it like it’s urgent.

After you mentioned it possibly being a v3, I’m more inclined to wait and see what happens.

don't take my word on it being v3.. just tossing that out there as it would be the next thing they did... could very well just be called TM2 Black as TM PH is known.. maybe there are no adjustments beyond the wood/metal color and zirconia/stem option. Opening it up to customize it more with the wood/metal colors etc might be the next thing.. who knows.. again odd to say it's urgent on any product when you are the manufacturer unless inventory is running low or prices will be going up.. right?

I have no idea, you can look at the price increase from the original, to the TM2, then from that to the purple heart... With new wood and new parts, can expect a similar price to PH, but it could be even more if it has further new parts like zirconia stem, etc...

Yes, in my mind there is no reason to wait or agonize over this decision, there is nothing wrong with the walnut TM2 and it is still my most favorite vape overall as is compared to everything else...

There's a language barrier, but I took that to mean, literally just because the person reached out to ask and implied that they want one ASAP but are concerned about it being the latest and greatest... So they said if you want one, there is no reason to wait, they are advising that no one wait for a potential TM3 or whatever updated black version, they encourage you to just buy one if you want one, why wait?

How would I know if the retailer I am purchasing from has the updated version of the walnut?

I am looking at purchasing from either planet of the vapes Canadian site or Toronto vaporizer. Toronto vaporizer has it for the cheapest price and I’m getting another 5% discount code. I just don’t want old inventory.
