So...between these two then...why is the plastic model called enhanced???? Because it has the holes????? Is that all???? Because the power is the same...
there are many differences hence the 'enhanced'. better airflow, adjustable airflow, different cpu, battery case-very different, different mouth pieces and a shit ton of new accessories, the ones i can remember, anyway. i think there is documentation on the unit difference out there on the net. 4oz lighter too

Ok...super cool. Thank you for the answer. So...do you feel a big difference with the airflow? The original has pretty great air flow as is...

I'm on the hunt for more dosing capsules, the 2 it comes with just isn't enough.

Are there any US sellers with any still?

It is written on some websites that there is a new version from 03.2025 of the OG with a improved cooling unit. What exactly is "better" now?
Does anybody have some more data or owns one of the latest models?

To remind: The OG doesn't have the problems that the Enhanced has.
Now there's an adjustable airflow on the mouthpiece? The draw resistance was quite high on the OG. And can I adjust it even further now? ^^ Or is there an adjustable inlet on the bottom?

Jeez launching a new revision right now would be a.. bold choice. Especially since AFAIK there weren't reports of problems with the OG..

That'll be interesting to watch!

There are some sites that change the date every month to indicate that it is the latest version. This does not mean that something is really new, but the latest. The cooling unit of the OG was overhauled, but that was a long time ago and has not been done again.

My original Angus decided to crap out after a few months. I'm on my third now. But I finally decided to tear down my original to see what was going on inside. I know really nothing about electronics, but what am I looking at in these 2 pics. The bottom one is the flipside of the "questionable area" of the pcb.

Looks just like flux residue and a bodged resistor on the first pic, as if the board was reworked.

The worrying part is that they did not even bother to clean the flux...

The black thing on the corner tho... don't know what crap it is. A wedge to prevent the board from moving/rattling? :D

Still my opinion:
The AE is a cheapy, even with a good isolation. It has better airflow. Top results and accesories.
The OG is much more valuable overall. Design and materials. But unfortunately, it seems to have frequent failures and overheating problems (verdampftnochmal.de said in an email).
If the OG had the same air intake holes as the AE, perhaps an electronics update and better cooling, it would be my favorite.
I'd love to enlarge the intake holes in the OG and add lots of small holes to the outside of the case for better cooling. But that would void the warranty.
