when I got mine I kept talking about it so much that people bought out the stock and it was a long wait for it to come back lol
Maybe like don't talk about ALL the bubblers so much bruh, the walls have ears  I didn't mention that Coyle Condenser until i found out that it was totally outta my price range .... there is only one left for sale :p

I can't decide between the CC Vertex and TAG Donut...
I'm typically a buy one piece every 5 years type of guy... I have a D020-d, and a SOL piece.
I find the D020-d too small and the SOL too big. I think I have lower than average lung capacity.
I mostly use a CH B1 vape.
I know people haven't used the Vertex yet, but can anyone help me decide between these two? 🙏

I think today might be the last day for the pre-order? Not sure if the long weekend counted... But for low long capacity it sounds like the move for sure, TAG you would probably not be able to clear in one

I recommend a recycler bubbler for your B1- they come in various sizes and are a nice upgrade from the D020- which I realised today was what got me into bubblers through recommendations in this very thread 9 years ago!!!!

This^ is what you both want, it has a much better perc and style, with a different mouthpiece (45° angle adapter helps) you can also turn it into a sidecar, it has amazing views for watching the milk fill... Worth waiting for the 420 sale perhaps, they always have big discounts, but the price has gone up on this piece since I got mine (did not used to come with a mouthpiece either only whip with adapter and mouthpiece)

I would not want either of the pieces you posted honestly, nor the two above (which I actually had from vapexhale and sold along with my FC-Mod too) bad perc/styles imo :2c:
Will it ever go lower than $149 for a 2nd!?

My TAG Klein incycler also got delivered. It's a nice compact piece which makes it a bit less iffy to function than my previous one (although I barely used that one, so might have improved with more practice).

The smaller size and particularly the tighter more compact body make it more easy to deal with and less of a quest to get the water level dialed in. It has the same restrictive requirements I think many or all recyclers have to get good function: a narrow margin of draw force; good heat retention from the vape throughout the hit; prefers the higher temp at which I use hash as opposed to lower temp I vape my herb at.

With CouchLog it gives nice and fulfilling 2 hit extraction with great flavor. Function is good with nice vortex and recycling going on. I also prefer it over my low budget dual uptake recycler I got off dhgate, the TAG incycler is a bit more flexible wrt draw force as well as superior quality and a nicer mouthpiece.

It was a factory second but I couldn't find any flaws. Happy with this piece, should be nice with the ball vapes I am getting as well

The Upline clone arrived yesterday. For $50 it is good, but I am not sure it is a perfect replica as a few comments on the DHGate store say ( the downstem is not 100% perfectly vertical, etc).

I couln't resist pimping it up with some extra bits to make it look even more like an Elven crystal hookah! :science: It actually performs well with the ash catcher/not drop down thing!

Here's a nice shot with the Thunderbolt next to it. (The bowl needs a deep scrub so it got left out of the shot)

This does what I expected, compared to my recyclers: Smaller hits, bigger flavour. It is a real terp delivery vehicle and will probably pair really nicely with a Dynavap with heat jacket, or Anvil, etc. With my Quartz Thunderbolt injector it cannot deliver the big dab-like rips I can get with a recycler, but allows for a slower savouring of the flavour, and the lighter draw keeps the heater hot for a longer time.

You have to get the water level just right, and you need to draw slowly at first so as to stack the bubbles in order and build up the percolation through each successive chamber and get a nice steady boiling action going on in the upper chamber rather than a haphazard splashing. It seems to work better when held at a slight angle rather than perfectly horizontal on a tabletop.

The experience is similar to the Rattle Can bubbler that has been mentioned here a few times.

Here's a few sneaky quick milk pulls from the QT and slightly too much water in the piece.

The mouthpiece is a bit narrower than I would have liked- it is clear that the narrower the mouthpiece the better the vapor tastes, but the more coughing it causes! If i had a glass blower nearby I would be tempted to ask them to cut off about 1/3 of that nipple so as to enlarge the hole slightly.

I would have liked thicker glass for this piece. The entire design is CRYING OUT for a detachable mouthpiece... It would be a simple matter to replace the mouthpiece tube with a 14mm elbow joint....

On the whole it' s a fun piece and qualifies as cheap and relatively quality bubbler but now I want to try the original! This is the 5th and probably final Chinese clone bubbler I have bought...

That modular TAG piece

Nice with herb, pleasing hits. Will have to try with higher water level.
Looks very nice with the couchlog although it seems it has a large space to be filled with vapor? Is this middle space with the donut too big?
If I order from US I may order two together to reduce shipping and handling expenses. I maybe get the incycler too. I like the size. How the package arrives in customs? There is a full description with accurate price or are they flexible to declare a smaller price?

Finally how the modular TAG compares with the modular bubbler you got from dhgate couple months ago? Has a very nice mouthpiece

I was thinking to order it too, couple of weeks ago, but skipped it comparing it to the original. The m/p seems different for sure, more like bad copy. I have bought Grav upline upright bubbler copy from dhgate and I like it very much though.

Yeah I still need to add water but my distilled water is in this huge jug lol so I haven't taken the effort yet

Is this middle space with the donut too big?
I don't know for sure what you mean but it doesn't have real flaws. It needs more water though, and a better mp although the one it came with slightly better than I feared. I also need to try it with my herborizer.

Yeah that's what I did. Saved me a lot of money.

Never hurts to ask

The downstem on that ylhookah one is not great so I need to upgrade that at some point. The mp also quickly become a bit annoying actually. So hard to compare fairly at this point.

@Abele Rizieri Ferrari I meant the space inside red borders isn't too big and therefore requires heavy drawing to fill up with vapor properly?

It's a pretty versatile piece, it does have a large volume, but you don't have to draw heavy you can still sip even with a whip, you can load as much water as you want to decrease the volume and increase resistance, the perc purrs smoothly, but yes it takes a lot of draw for a length of time if you do want to milk it up full even with a decent amount of water, it's a great piece for heavy hitting vapes but it does work for smaller portables too, it is versatile. Yes it is large, if that is a concern then take heed, that other piece from DHgate is also a bit large but different with the dewar style downstem and yes the perk, it is more similar to the GooRoo 3piece than the TAG really...

That seems like an expensive DHGate piece especially when you need to add a decent MP and downstem, I still have it in my favs list though!

Yeah I am still hoping to get a goo downstem so I can use it more, I do enjoy the mouthpiece to use with different setup (like my goo or backwards prophet) so it does have its quirks, agreed this would be a bit better of the value at a lower price, although I am certain they can modify the downstem however you like, probably even provide a different mouthpiece if you prefer, they are a pretty great seller with very thick high quality glass at least!

Yeah the downstem is the biggest issue as mp's are easier to get a nice one here in EU (although not from EU afaik).

I have several of these and really like the mp end bit. From Germany I think.

Would love a OGB style craftsperson here.
Agreed. His work looks fantastic.

One US supplier I checked recently was asking about $30 for shipping a bubbler from the US to Spain. Shipping isn't so bad.

If you get hit by customs it seems abritrary/random in various EU (incl. UK) countries I've been in. It's like they're a mafia and can charge what they feel like to release your package. You wanna get your package rather than having it get sent back to sender after a very long wait, so you pay what they ask.... It is supposed to be around 20% but is often more.

There is some deal going on with China as I rarely get customs charges for China packets but I ALWAYS get customs charges from US packets to here, even low value stuff.
