Shipping is very decent. I am in. But looks like almost too fine of a grind? Will there be various grinds available?
Which color you went with?

I liked the way the herb came out as well, it's what I like for TM and Herborizer from what I can tell. The plate also looks like it could be adjusted to finer or coarser versions.

Look at the photo I shared a page or so ago from the site, it has all the colors, you can see the difference between blue and teal... I presumed NTN meant no color??
Hello,

This is the NTN Bearing https://www.motion.com/products/sku/02194249

NTN have been making bearings for turbine jet engines and the like for decades (they know their shit)
The NTN bearing has super tight tolerances and is designed to take axial and radial loads but doesn't spin as free as the "Better Bearings" and only coming in the single colour.

The "Better Bearings" are "Lickety Splits" from https://betterbearings.com.au/
Better bearings are an Australian company that offers premium skateboard bearings that come in lots of cool colours (please look at their website for colour clarification).
These bearings are sealed, come in multiple colours and spin really well.

In my opinion you cant go wrong with either bearing. I'd like to continue to offer both.

Anything else please ask away!

Hey, I love the design and thanks for being so open with the community!

I was wondering if you could make quick video demonstrating the difference in how the two bearing type spin? The NTN aerospace grade bearing sounds cool but wouldn’t want to lose to much spin.

Additionally, is there any maintenance and are the bearings user replaceable ?

Cheers

The video in op shows some of the differences

Ok, i have made some refinements to the top piece.
Size has increased to 62.5mm
It's now more natural to hold and feels better when gripping.
Increased size means slightly bigger grinding area.

Looks a lot nicer/refined im my opinion.

Keen to hear your thoughts!
I agree, I like it!

My current simple disc shape 2 piece stainless 59mm grinder is a bit difficult to manipulate and hold. It is a bit thin and slippery for my fingers. This 3 piece will be much easier to hold as it is higher. I expect this top piece to be much grippier due to its shape.
And I also expect the 62.5mm to feel much better too.
It is going to be a heavy piece.

But when you went stainless most other grinders feel light like plastic toys afterwards.

After a suspected broken finger a couple of months ago I am finding gripping a full load and turning a bit of a struggle with my current great grinder and have decided I do need a Medgrind 3-piece in my life with those easy grip shapes and for different strains that I now get through my doctor.
I went with the NTN bearing as they are on par with Timken and only SKF may be better IME.
Now I have to try to forget I have it on order.

Very nice. The one concern from watching your videos was how easy it was to grip. Looks like you are trying to address that. Kudos!

I have 4 grinders and very large hands. The larger the diameter the better. My MEDGRIND won’t be getting transported so I am not concerned about the weight (I already have a grinder that is 595 grams and it’s not a problem for me).

Hello Everyone.
Paypal, Shopify payments, apple pay, and google pay have shut me down. I can no longer accept payments.

I am working on fixing this issue as fast as i can.

Sorry.

Ugh I'm sorry that is so annoying, I hope you didn't have any money left in those accounts, because of the name having medical cannabis?? So many of these companies are cracking down unnecessarily and it sucks, many other sellers are having these issues and unable to accept digital payments, I hope you can find a good processor, I'm sure many can help suggest better ones

Not going to lie, All the pre order money in my accounts have been frozen for 6 months.

I can now only accept bank transfer but this isnt ideal imo. Probably looking to rebrand completely and start fresh unfortunately. You guys will still get your orders though!! I'm not giving up.

Currently looking at an alternative payment provider, the fees are quite high.

Ill keep you guys updated.

Omg I am so sorry, yeah you can never leave money in any of those accounts, you have to transfer them to your bank immediately, because this is always a risk, it happens all the time especially to people in our industry unfortunately...

Being frozen for 6 months is pretty unacceptable, is there any way for you to appeal, talk to someone on the phone? The person I know who this happened to recently, venmo, they were able to get the money released to them quickly at least...

Yeah definitely need to find a reputable reliable payment processor, there are a lot of other retailers here who have found good ones that may be able to help...

I'm not worried about getting the product when or anything, I'm just angry on your behalf that you don't have the actual money and they are essentially stealing it from you!

I should have said something sooner about the name, also because there is another brand called cannabis hardware, changed their name from new vape because that has so many bad connotations making it tricky to ship stuff now too... Need something neutral?

Medically Conducive Handwares??
