Different colors, worthy of the heady hook!

Also got a more standard purple 14 mm taper mouthpiece WPA that is actually my longest GVB stem now:

So even though it only has four pearls, the extra length, and the extra spikes too, really do make for nice smooth hits dry...

And of course super smooth through water, can take a bit longer to milk up with more draw restriction is all (GVB salvaged a bunch of small broken glass stuff for me too btw)

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
I've lower my temp from the 5 range down to the 3 range. Still getting great clouds, but the flavor and coolness of the hits lasts longer. I have tried hitting it on 3 for the first few hits, then raising the temp up to finish but all I get is one roasty hot hit. Right now I'm hitting a bowl 3-4 times on the 3 and dumping it. Works a treat for me.
This might be the greatest flower vape I've ever used. :peace:

Some people just aren't much for DIY. Take me, get some rubies hearing they work well in the CU. Pop a few in there and connect, fire up. Wake the next day and they're stuck in the holes, blocking the draw because I didn't think to put one of the washers back in to hold them in place and they rolled right into there like a golf ball after a good putt.

I managed to get 2 out, then get the other 3 more stuck trying to pop them through.

It's definitely affected the draw resistance, but I don't mind that necessarily, especially since I have a TRWW stem that is very open and can't be used with the CU anyway. Anyone know if this is dangerous, like overheat the device dangerous? I'll live (or not) with the ruby shards I'm smoking after grinding them against metal.
Try only putting the rubies in the bottom piece of the CU and not in the top piece. That’s what I do and it works wonders.

Have you not tried yet temp stepping? Try 0-1-2-3-4 (I go even more so finer adjustments between them, but just try something to get even more a taste of what I'm savoring lol)

Well, my unit won't turn on if I try to set it below 2. But I just tried a 2-3 step combo and it worked quite nicely. Even more flavor and longer at 2, then a few more enjoyable hits at 3. Honestly, I can see myself just hitting it several times at the lowest setting and then tossing it. Maybe raise the temps in the evening when I want more sedative effects?

Also, thank you to the guy who recommended the vinal caps to cover the mouth end of the stem. The moment I cover the mouth end (when not in use) all odor goes away. I had problems with my setup smelling of weed when stored in the house. Those little caps work like magic. You can run several bowls through a unit and stem until it's pretty dirty, but put a cap on the mouthpiece and no odor. Amazing.

Haha yeah dude, that is just the protection feature, turn it to a higher setting to turn it on and then turn it all the way down to the lowest possible... You get the full range of the dial for your control! That's why I turn it up tiny bit by tiny bit, only taking one hit at each setting, great low temp full extraction below level 5 in my TM2 this way (with all glass cooling stems and/or hooks for me)

That WPA is dope! How much did that run you if you don’t mind sharing?

My first week with the TM2 has been pretty awesome! Loving the versatility of this little beast, and I feel like I still have a lot to learn! My biggest surprise was I actually prefer to hit it on 5. The hits are really tasty and still very dense vapor.

My search for an 18mm bubbler has been rather unsuccessful, so I’m gonna change my angle now. I originally purchased the 18mm WPA because I read that they allow better airflow, resulting in better performance.

Does anyone have a 14 and 18mm WPA and could report if they notice any different between the two? Would I be better off using my 18mm WPA with a glass adapter to a 14mm bubbler, or just getting a new 14mm WPA? Typically prefer not to use an adapter.

Anyone know of any 14mm WPA’s available in the US currently with a built in screen? I’m not a big fan of the rimless bucket screens just floating in the WPA’s

Thanks! Yeah because we went all out with this custom, about $70 is the price, but the 14 mm one was only like $30 I think? I may have to get a third design, priced in between lol

My search for an 18mm bubbler has been rather unsuccessful, so I’m gonna change my angle now. I originally purchased the 18mm WPA because I read that they allow better airflow, resulting in better performance.

I'd strongly consider the suggestion, which I also endorse, to use an 14 male to 18 female s-shaped dropdown adapter, with whatever shower head rig you liked the most with 14 mm connection, it helps cool the vapor further and keeps your water cleaner catching all the particles...

There is a difference, that's why I suggested the above, I prefer the 18 mm WPAs here, but I do love my shorty 14 mm WPA from Alan@toasty-top.com (however the bowl in her diameter is slightly narrower, and that lines up with the bit of air flow restriction from the 14 mm male tip) So to answer your question yes there is a difference in the airflow of course, performance is great regardless however!

You'd have to find supply of the one from TM if you want that fixed glass screen... As you see in my stems from GVB, as I said, they fit perfectly a flat half inch screen securely... You can also get better rimless basket screens like those from Alan that will sit more secure in most stems like the 18 mm WPA... Finally though, a great thing about Alan's WPA, is that he bores the inside, so there's a little ledge for his own (different size) rimless basket screen to sit and the fit is perfect for 100% secure screen...

How long ago did you order it? I've ordered from Finland on the website and im wondering how long a wait I'm in for lol.

I'm very old school with my vapes these days running an ssv as my daily. I have bought a couple of portables over the years but nothing with great success they all seemed to have the hype but no delivery.

For those wondering

I have the firefly 2 - can't get this thing to work in any worthwhile way. Never sees light of day.

Forget it's name now but it was a portable by 7th floor the makers of the ssv, hated it.

I had the indica - shaped like a lighter and as soon as I took I draw I knew I hated conduction vapes

I had the vape or smoke - I actually had very good results with this one and it was what helped me kick smoking. Fiddly to use though and loads to learn

There have been some others I think but I don't recall them at this moment
Hi!
I ordered my TM on 31.10. and I get them on 14.11.

Titanium Coils as an alternative to the cooling unit:

I got myself a length of 18 gauge pure titanium wire for insert into a 60mm titanium stem.

First, the wire is wrapped around a pencil to give it shape. The ends were purposely straightened - this will give the wire retention while in the stem. I used a needle-nosed plier to insert and position. The straight ends bind against the inside. I left enough space on one end of the stem to fit a dosing capsule or mesh basket.

Below is a top down view with the coil inserted. It is very stable. Essentially it thickens the titanium wall and does not impede airflow. Seems to work just as well, if not better, than the CUs and glass beads i was using before. And now it is so much easier to maintain - just stick the entire stem into iso alcohol and that's it. No beads or silicone o-rings to worry about.

Update;

TinyMight responded quickly!
New unit’s being shipped out tomorrow DHL Express.

They provided an explanation of what likely happened;

From the photos it looks like the heater has been mechanically shorted, causing the abnormally high current to go just trough the heater contact electrode, bypassing the heater. And this is why the contact electrode has heated up very much, and the wood has scorched where it was in contact with the wood. This high current has then burned the output transistors on the board.

We have replaced one similarly damaged unit where the heater was shorted and it had this same burn mark of the electrode on wood and burned transistors. That one was damaged when the user had tried to remove the top panel in a similar way as in Tinymight 1. But in TM2 the design is different and if the heater is not first properly released, the top panel removal will damage and short the heater.

I have analyzed this a lot now but it is very hard to find any explanation how the unit works first and then the heater get shorted, the heater is protected by the heat spreader plate and the glass tubes surrounding the heater looks normal without damage. I could imagine in some heavy impact the supporting rods to break and this could cause a delayed short, but such an impact would most probably first damage the glass tube surrounding the heater but it looks normal.

To find any explanation of how this has happened is now rather impossible as the unit has been already disassembled.

My replacement TM2 arrived yesterday safe and sound.

TM surprised me by including a variety of goodies in the pack - really nice of them 🙌

All you have to do is turn it on with setting above two and then back down to one. It's counter-intuitive, but works just fine.

Only took me a few times shouting out to nobody in particular "This damm thing stopped working!" before I figured out what to do.
Thanks to everyone that helped me out on this. I got scared when I first tried to turn it on below 2 and it was throwing different colored lights and making an odd hepatic buzz. I was like "Son of a bitch" until I realized it had to be set higher.

I have been enjoying my new GVB bead stem too, although I was hoping for a little more cooling than I'm getting. Still the GVB is a sweet looking stem and makes loading and unloading quite easy. The lower temp vaping also helps with cooling, but I think the lower temps mean I have to hit it a few more times to get most of the extraction.

I have a OGB left angled J-hook in the mail, and I have my fingers crossed for even better cooling. I know it was made to order and shipped out earlier in the week. Maybe before Thanksgiving.

With my TM purchase an LG HG2 battery was included. This battery almost never works with my TM shutting down even at full charge, 4 vibrations. Occasionally it'd work for a bowl or 2 but not for the past year, mayve a hit if lucky. I rarely use it with the TM anymore.
This same issue will also occasionally occur with 2 other batteries that appear to normally work fine with my TM. Shutting down at 3-4 vibrations or not working as it should. The inconsistency in heating - same bud, same grind, same amount I have to increase the dial to 6+ to get a hit instead of 4.5 where it normally runs for my start(dry bud around 4, wet around 5). 5 nothing, 5.5 nothing, ~6 and it finally hits.
I have the same exact problem, im using old batterys though theyve been hammered. Ive just got a couple of brand spanking cells from vapefiend so once im home tomo ill see if i can re create the problem.

I also almost cooked my new v1 by putting the battery in backwards. Ended up fully (read FULLY) dismantling it and putting it back together, i thought this may be causimg the issue but ill hold off until ive seshed a new battery.

I contacted tinymight and they were very helpful, kind and polite. Offered to warrenty my unit even tho it may well have been a user error. I actually messaged them as i didnt think i could get it back together but i took a deep breath and managed to do it (i let them know) and they re itterated if i wantwd to send it in i could. A* customer service imho

I bought this tm1 second hand to get a proper feel for them (have hit a mates but you really need time with a vape to u understand it). Tbh if it continues to impress me ill buy a tm2 no doubt. I still want a new session vape but this is my current on demand portable without a doubt

how many grams is the minimum dose one can take with the Tinymight? are 0.025g or 0.05g possible?

Tiny amounts are easily possible, probably will want to load in basket very close to the heater and use higher temps, you just want to cover the screen holding the material is all for the airflow through the material, probably finish in one hit unless you can really milk it
