Yep...

I really feel bad for my Canadian brothers and sisters. It used to be that if you ship something from the United States to Canada via USPS you would have very little to no risk of import tax exposure. That has somewhat changed as I have seen folks getting taxed from USPS now. UPS and DHL on the other hand we're always bad. It's almost as if they are in cahoots with the Canadian government to collect as much as they possibly can. On top of that they throw in their broker fee. It seems Canada is more discouraging of importing products than any other country I have dealt with. Sorry guys!

To top it off our dollar sucks right now so importing anything is expensive.

They passed a law this year about taxes on internet purchases so that's part of the reason why we're getting hit more often.

From what I figure it'll be 12% GST+PST and some unknown duty charge. Then DHL will probably add handling fees on top. So a €140 kit turns into $250-300 CDN. Makes it really not worth it.

Ok so...got to try. my new og walnut and as expected I didn't find any visible differences between this and the new one. I'm going to search for flavour differences...but I need to spend more time with it

The downside are that my bowl came with the gold coating scratched...it's really a small defect..don't know if the vapman support will help...but it sucks cause this thing is gorgeous. I've already asked for help to them through the reddit chat but I'm really thinking of sending an email too. I case I get no help...is the heating bowl replaceable with the one they sell online? It's really funny...that everything started with the intention of buying a new heating element and at the end I got a new one with the bowl scratched....I'm so bummed

The second thing is that it really smells bad when I heat up the bowl from the bottom. I don't remember the new one ever smelling like this from day one. Will it go away?

Man it's good to be back here. Placed an order for an og and new kotibe. I am keeping my eyes peeled for a station. I unfortunately was one of the first owners of a station and my station was the one that malfunctioned and melted down. Like it literally started to melt. I was the direct/indirect.cause of them being recalled. I've.dreamed of one ever since. Hopefully I will own another. ( Again it was no fault of mine.lol)

Got this neat little multi-adapter to add Dynavap stems:

It's the Dynabox Titanium Multiple Adapter For VapMan; they have a 14mm WPA for VM as well.

Also, these are restocked and perfect for Vapmans:

Ok, I wrote an email to their info mail yesterday and I'm still waiting for an answer. The bad smell has somehow become less evident...but it's still there...none of you guys that own an OG classic have experienced the same? Is it just me? It's so bad though...

For the scratch on the coating I hope I'll get an answer...but have you guys ever replaced the bowl in the OG?

Walnut often has a strong smell or flavor; sometimes with like a Sticky Brick it can be overwhelming due to the amount of wood along the airpath. The only personal experience I can offer is I have a walnut Dynavap stash that smells so strongly that it taints the weed you carry in it, and it's never dissipated over the several months I've owned it. On the other hand, I got a Triihouse Waldo that sat unopened for several years before i bought it, had a strong odor and flavor for the first week, and then rapidly diminished over the next couple until there's simply none left. Hopefully your Vapman will also become unsmelly, too!

Nothing in this world can prepare you for how damn tiny the new vapman cases are!! Holy hell on earth I could not believe it..and I've had many a vapman before so I knew they were tiny but holy damn man I'm blown away by that case and how it's all placed inside and I've seen pics..Man I'm not sure why I ever got rid of all of my past vaporizers..there are so many I'll never be able to replace but half the fun is trying..

Finally gave the walnut classic first test drive and it has kinda strong smell to it. And it's not a pleasant experience where I somehow enjoy the olive wood scent added to vapor while using the new one. But I assume it will go away over the time, so I wouldn't worry about it man :)

Thank you guys...yes I supposed it was related to the wood type that's why I asked if you have experienced the same. Fortunately it has already become less prominent than before...so it's kinda manageable right now and makes me think it will go away at some point. The real elephant in the room here is the scratch on the coating...I know it can be considered a minor defect...but I bought it brand new and I don't want to start with the coating already scratched T_T I hope they will answer but I haven't good vibes about it...they kinda ignored me the last time I wrote to that email so...is there another way to contact them?

I would probably try DM them on Instagram, or maybe a chat on the website if you are not friend with social media.

Yowza!

Sadly, this is where their being an EU outfit becomes an issue. Bc I can’t buy the case without buying the AFC, at which point I’ve got to make free shipping, which clearly means grabbing an OG Walnut… except my vape budget’s blown out for the year.

First world problems are real.

I just received my Simrell airflow actuator mouthpiece yesterday and I am pleasantly surprised at the difference from the standard stem. I've had a few Vapman's over the last 7 years and never felt the need to change anything about it. It has always been a marvel and joy to use just as it was designed. But VAS is hard to overcome and I kept it at bay by ordering some accessories instead. Other than having to lightly sand the mid section because it was a little too tight, it seems great. The improvement of quicker, denser vapor was honestly a surprise but a welcome one. If you normally do back to back bowls then the stem starts to get a little warm but so far thats my only negative. I think it looks better and I would certainly recommend it to anyone curious.

the simrell is on sale right now for $49. I'm surprised it won't fit into the wood case, it seems shorter than my standard stem. they seem to have a similar ability to adjust the airflow but the simrell has a spiral " intercooler " that helps to reduce the vapor temperature. I'm sure they are both good and an improvement over the basic stem.
