A question about the King Palm edition.

How is it different than the V3 MAX PRO ?

Is it any better than the POTV edition ?

We might as well make a FUCKCOMBUSTION V4 PRO Edition at this point.

I think the POTV is the best version according to the internet.

I believe the POTV version is the best. The battery will last longer than the others and it has the accesory-accepting mouthpiece (which stays in place MUCH better than the original plastic mouthpiece that comes stock on the xmax and King Palm versions.

...but that being said, larger batteries are readily available separately, as is that updated mouthpiece, so actually it's cheaper right now to buy the one that's like $50 on sale, and for $12 buy the updated mouthpiece sold but POTV.

Mine is an og xmax v3pro with that new mouthpiece, and some purple efest batts I got a couple years ago but ended up not using. They nearly double the battery life of the original unmarked battery. And compared to my molicells the efests last a couple sessions longer. Kinda unbelievable battery life, actually.

i think regular 18560 batteries work fine as it is .

I would stick with the POTV edition because it is EASY, it is UPDATED, and it has everything (accessories) .

again, all of this info is good for new customers.

(I think you mean 18650)

One of the "updates" with the POTV version IS a larger mAh 18650, but you can just buy your own too. That's all I was saying.
The other update is it comes with the new mouthpiece, which is also sold separately.

That's cool.

I think the POTV edition is fantastic just because it is the NEWER UPDATED edition. I like optional glass addon.

So...After owning the V3Pro for a 1 month and using it daily, I'm really diggin' this little beast, she will be in my daily rotation for sure.
I get great taste with it on On-Demand mode at 200C , and nice effects as well.
Love the quick on demand hits when I'm the go with this vape.

P.S. I enjoy the native mouthpiece more so than the glass, I find I get better taste with it over the glass

Great Job PPN and the entire XMAX Team :peace:
Thank you for this amazing feedback, we are so glad to get happy customers!
Hey guys, i pulled the trigger and bought one too. Its not my first so i have a bit of experience :) As always i clean my device and do a few burn offs. Right at my first burn off, i smelled something strange. I cant really describe it, its like smelling a cheap Hair dryer after you have used it. Its a mix of hot Plastic, and electronics. I did some Mouth puffs (no Lung) to get some heat into the Chamber. I never smelled something like that in all my other vapes. Did you experience the same odor? Dies it go away after some burn offs? Its definitely not the smell from the inlet.
Like some peoples replied to you, it's unusual to get a bad taste/smell with the V3Pro, since you said to smell it only when heater is powered I think you may be one of the rare peoples to be slightly sensitive to the Kanthal's heating wires... Or it's simply a small "robot fart" like others members said. Let me know if you think your device to be defective, we will take care of you if needed.
@XMAXVAPORIZER

Thank you for getting back to me. I was use a 16" straight bong. I started to pull really hard then it changed to smoke. I just use other glass pieces now and so far I have not had anymore problems.
Do you means it's fine now? Maybe you did a extra long hit using extra dry weed... all in all let me know if the issue happen again, best regards!
Joined the masses and got a v3p too (I'm backpacking through Thailand so I was afraid bringing my glow and my boxmod due the vape ban over here). It's a great budget vape. Not as good as my glow in any way: taste, loading form, cleaning is all better with the glow, but with just convection learning curve I can see why lots of people buying it. I got it at a decent price too, 4790 baht with a WPA.
Thank you for the nice feedback, enjoy your Xmax V3Pro for your Thai trip!

Note that the 12.95 only buys the adapter mp. All the glass stems, etc are add-ons to that.
When purchased as the POTV v3pro, one dimpled stem comes with it.
correct. I bought the short dimpled one for $5
Added up the $50 sale device, the new mouthpiece and a glass piece for it is still cheaper than POTV. (assuming you own an 18650 already)

I just got back my King Palm exchange (due to a loose oven that spinned easily). The new one is also loose, but I decided to just give it a go.

I gave it an ISO + soapy water clean, but I can still pick up on an electrical and/or plastic odor while running. I did about 5 full temp burn offs, and it helped a little but I can still detect it. I'm hoping that it continues to improve with time.

I loaded up some Sour Space Candy CBD for its maiden voyage and started at 330F in session mode. I was really impressed with the first hit, picking up on new flavors that I hadn't noticed with my Dynavaps. I also got more effects than I ever have before, which kind of took me by surprise. Other than the odor, I'm really happy with it.

I would say it is just the 'newest stock from the factory' smell that heat cycles will finish curing pretty quickly.

Even more convection going on here and it is quite tasty and my preference when it comes to flavour chasing.

Hi, I'm glad you are happy despite your bottom screen is still spinning, the " factory taste" will fade away pretty fast. Enjoy the Noir!

I noticed a review that said the dimpled glass stem fits perfectly into the stock X-Max glass stem mouthpiece, so maybe I can just buy that without the POTV accessory mouthpiece...? Tempted by that little black bent stem too though, hmmm

Is what potv calls the 'accessory mouthpiece' any different from the one the original WPA or glass stem sits in?

Just ordered the POTV version. Can anyone elaborate on the on demand experience? How does this compare to, say, a Firefly 2 in terms of how fast the temp drops to save your herb? Is there ceramic in the air path? Lastly, is this the only dual mode vape offering both on demand and session? Thanks in advance...

You press the button, hold it down, it will vibrate after a bit, you inhale (try covering bottom half of the intake holes as you do at first) and then let go of the button before you are ready to complete, keep inhaling to fully clear the heat and vapor.

How does this compare to, say, a Firefly 2 in terms of how fast the temp drops to save your herb?

If you use it the way I described, it would be similar, although the chamber is metal, so that's why it's important to draw the air through it at the end to help cool it further.

Is there ceramic in the air path?

Yes, the stock mouthpiece has a ceramic cooling unit inside the plastic, that is the vapor pathway...

Lastly, is this the only dual mode vape offering both on demand and session? Thanks in advance...

No, this works one of the best though, session mode is just holding down the button for you, here it can help build a bit more radiant conduction for you, so v3pro can feel like it works a bit more two-in-one than most others that feature this feature (like tinymight it really is just holding the button down for you, it does not change the nature of the vape, I only use it there to take one hitters through water so I can turn it off and fully clear the hit)

It is becoming a popular feature to try to include both now, check out the similar xlux roffu made by the same manufacturer, it is similar yet different...

By the way this is similar to some pen cartridge batteries, they have a button to use on demand, but many of them also have a preheat feature where if you tap it two times it will heat automatically for you for a set amount of time or until you tap it again.

Final recommendation, the healthy rips Fury 2 WPA fits into the v3pro chamber, to use it as a glass stem for your chamber and vapor path, with little honeycomb screen, I really love using it with mine!

From what I've read from users on another forum, the glass mouthpiece and original wpa mouthpiece are diff. both of them have a lip around the base of the glass to hold it in place. They tried removing the original glass to put in a diff stem without these lips and they fit too loose. Adding a silicone lip helps to improve though. But can't quickly swap like the POTV version.

Let us to know if it fits your usage style, it looks like our dear @Shit Snacks replied to your questions very well! It looks like the POTV Attachment/mouthpiece seems to be larger than our Xmax Attachments... I still not have seen the POTV Attachment in person at the moment

Yes I saw a picture of both the Xmax V3Pro w/glass mouthpiece next of the POTV V3Pro and it looks like the mouthpiece base to be slightly longer for the POTV version, I don't know exactly what this added length brings on the table since I still not seen this version in person.

Have fun!
