TinyMight / TM 2

With the P80 the extraction is always perfect in session mode. Whether at low or high temperature! No particular technique and no matter how the weed is placed in the mouthpiece.
This story of bad extraction scares me.
You who have so many vaporizers do you think I have nothing to fear with the extraction of ABV from TM2?
Like you, I also like low temperatures.
I think P80 and TM pretty similar so one is a backup of another. i mean, both 70w, the coils in the p80 are more thin, but got 4 of them, the coil of TM is big without glass...

with the TM you tend to have less 'fear' of P80 breakage i guess? always there's a backup!

The P80 has been my only vaporizer for almost a year.
He is almost perfect.
I just blame it for being too hot with the original mouthpieces and for being an extremely fragile vaporizer.
This vaporizer is not practical to use outdoors. One mistake and it's fatal lol. And it is thicker than the TM2.
That's why I want the TM2. A vaporizer that seems much more solid to me and perfect for outdoors or travelling.
But I really find it hard to believe that it outperforms the p80 when it comes to ripping.
The photos above are quite eloquent on this subject.
But I think I will probably order it in a few weeks.
I am still waiting for more feedback from users to confirm my purchase.

Yes, nothing to fear, just don't look at the AVB so much haha it is absolutely possible to have seemingly uneven extraction with the TP80 (P80 is just a mod, without the Tetra ;):p) and it is not really relevant since they are so different (stems and heaters and software and builds) -- it's just not surprising to me at all that the TM2 would have the best flavor for whatever that is worth...

the coil of TM

Well, it is not a wire coil, it is stainless steel ribbon with ceramic posts... The differences are not that simple really

But I really find it hard to believe that it outperforms the p80 when it comes to ripping.

They are equal in that sense, they are both capable performers, neither is lacking, I use tetra through water more so is all

All personal preferences, you will probably be satisfied with it, but you may also be interested in the Toad or various other options... Getting off topic here, better to do a post in Ask FC if you want to talk more comparison-oriented to find a more portable option to what you already have ...

Thank you very much for all these explanations!
I will order a TM2 and keep my P80.
And also see if other options are possible to refine my vaping experience.
Thanks again 👍

Apologies in advance if this is common knowledge or by design but not seen it mentioned anywhere. I was using a bit of rubber tape to create a seal and use the ti stem as a wpa then I realised the unit itself sits quite well on my Honey Tower 18mm, I then put the spare O Ring round the stem at the bottom and this creates a better seal, still best to hold the unit while your hitting it but if anyones waiting for a WPA it s a simple solution that works, also handy if your round at a mates or somewhere there is a bong available you don't need a separate WPA. Im still going to buy proper adapters, has anyone got both 14 and 18, what do you prefer?

To those who have a TM, and now a TM2, how does the temperature selected on the dial compare between the two TM's?

If you usually start on # 5 on an OG TM does #5 on a TM2 give comparable vapor production or do we need to start lower on a TM2 than we started on a TM so we don't get overwhelmed?

Also, If a "know it all" friend decides to turn the TM2 all the way up "to see what it can do" would there be combustion?

My TM2 is still in Germany. Learn from me, don't buy accessories during a product rollout. The "standard" packages got out first.

I purchased these over the summer. It is now not is stock but they have similar items. I carry one in my vape kit and with my Titanium stem from @dzoinp and with my Eds T&T stem. I also have one with the cooling stem from The Rogue Wax Works.

I’m starting on 4 now when I would have probably started on 6 on the TM1. I use the TM bubbler and although I want as much flavor as possible, I’m also finding myself in more of a hurry. So far (honeymoon period and all) I’m able to start on 4, get great flavor, then finish at 6, with same number of puffs as before (going from 6 to 8).

it seems like the TM2 on level 8 needs very fast draw, right? from the beginning of the draw? stronger than the TM1

Tried at setting 2 and 3. I prefer 4. Couldn't detect improved taste levels below 4, and clouds not as dense IMO. For me 4 is the sweet spot for start of bowl.
I don't

No slower I'd say, the airflow seems better on TM2 to me , if I draw to fast i get the ring.

doesn't make sense? fast draw will reduce the temperature of the heater, so if you take a slower draw it will be almost combustion ABV? ring is better than almost combusted ABV

I'd say almost certainly. I tried the beast mode this morning (it's got some sort of boost at max on demand called beast mode) with some hash. Through a bong.

I was smashed. It completely extracted. Hash was charred to near combustion I'd have thought. If it will do that to hash I'd imagine flower would get torched. I don't think I fancy trying for a few hours 😂

Stuck under a 🪵
Blue (not!)

Work was hell today and it continues. I need to print the DHL label for my repair and I know my home printer is low or out of ink (ugh). I hope to send it out by Saturday. I already miss my TM though reveling in all the great TM 2 reviews. Keep them coming! I could buy one now but I really want a Blue, er RED, one. I’ll wait. Cheers. :peace:
That's an easy fix

It may have already been mentioned, but I couldn't see in the search. Those with the TM2 I was wondering if the buzzing sound seems any more quiet. I assume that it still makes the buzzing sound as it is related to its functionality. However, I wondered if the new construction would dampen the sound more?

Haha yeah your love for low temps did come to mind. I must say I don't know my og that well yet, I was just more bold with TM2 by try starting as low as 1 at the dial but I didn't expect much of it really. If I were to compare I can get as thick and superfluous vapor at 2 as my og generates at 4.

The only trade off if you go this route is that the "higher" temps start to get toasty flavor a bit sooner (for me temp 6 is usually where I start to lose interest with both og and 2, the og still gives a few tasty hits though at that point). But I guess that makes sense because the extraction at the lower temp is just more successful with TM2.

To those who have a TM, and now a TM2, how does the temperature selected on the dial compare between the two TM's?

I don't have a TM2 yet but it seems from the temp charts that it's basically 1.5-2 whole numbers down from the OGTM. So what was 3.5/4 on a OG dial is now a 2 on the TM2 temp dial.

Any opinions on the new Firewood and new Tinymight , I have the budget for 1 and cannot make up my mind between them. My name has been called twice so far to grab the new firewood but something keeps drawing me to the tinymight over it plus I like that the tinymight has a replaceable battery but other than that does anyone own both and have any thoughts ? Also can someone tell me about how many hits per packing they get on the Tm ? Ty

I believe there's a thread in Ask FC? Or perhaps I'm confused with Reddit lol. Anyway since the dedicated threads aren't really meant to compare with other vapes, it's best to ask over at the Ask FC sub forum.

This was the thread: https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/tinymight-2-vs-firewood-8.52807/
