TinyMight / TM 2

@Djsleepy the TM1 stems fit the same in TM2? I hope the tolerance is identical for backward compatibility. Just ordered some Ed’s stems.

Is that new stir tool feeling useful, and does it store snugly in the unit? Sometimes upgrades address things that weren’t problems in the first place for some (Dyna captive caps cough cough lol)

Does the power button feel any different (crisp/mushy)? It never bothered me much but Sneaky Pete mentions it a lot so I’m curious If this was addressed.

Anything you can share about the new wood finish options?
All glass TM stems and others that fit OG fit the TM2.

It’s not just a stir tool ( when I say stir I mean debowle) it also can adjust CU and acts as battery indicator which is super cool. There are small holes all the way around top of tool that let thru light showing battery level. As some wondered it is NOT too bright unless you remove the tool then it is bright.

Power button solid looseness gone.

Wood options are being kept secret for now to avoid counterfeiters getting ahead of game.

@Djsleepy
1. Does the battery go in the opposite direction now?
2. Do you know if there is reverse polarity protection (don't try it, just curious if you knew)?
3. George mentioned that they upgraded the heater screen for more even avb (7:10). Can you see a difference between the two?

TIA
1. Yes and there is now an indicator on battery cap which way battery goes in case you forget.
2. Yes reverse protection
3. Yes the new screen keeps out all debris from getting to the heater and the way holes are laid out they help abv to be more even across the stem. Yes this make a huge difference as it seems to extract more fully.

Hey dj, please clarify more. Apart from higher temp setting, as George revealed, how does v2 hits harder than updated v1? I suppose the diameter of the heating element remains the same, is there any other improvement?
No change to heating element but new stem screen (which helps funnel air more evenly) and addressing all possible areas that might leak air have made a huge difference between OG and TM2 in my opinion.

I'm very interested in hearing about this new wood, if you can share how it looks or what it is. That's gonna be a non-trivial draw for me, since I'm not keen on the oak (no offense to oak lovers).

Gosh, and USB-C! Can you charge it with any USB-C cable, or only USB-C-to-USB-A? (I'm expecting the latter, as it seems to be common with USB-C vapes, but at the TM's price-point I do hope for proper USB-C 🤞).
Most cables should work.

So what’s the green light for on the recent TM models? I have an older TM with just a red light. @Djsleepy - can you provide any details in this? I used my TM last night and I just see red, no other color when turning it in or off.

Also, from the VapeFiend video by George he held up the TM and TM2 briefly. The TM2 looks to be a bit bigger than the TM, both the width (button side to the opposite side) and depth (I.e. thickest point around the stem). The main screw also looked like it moved a bit on the bottom plate. Any observations or considerations with the dimensions? Cheers. :peace:

The lights show green when hitting unit. The battery light from full charge to need to charge are green, blue, purple and red.

The unit is slightly larger but feels great in your hand not too big.

Thanks! So the multi-colored lights are a feature of the newer TMs, correct? I wasn’t aware of this. My presumably first gen TM only displays red turning it on/off - and I’ve checked this several times now holding it upside down and looking directly at the LED coming through the bottom plate (in addition to the light bleed from the bottom plate).

Glad to hear the ergonomics are about the same. My TM always feels great in hand and I suspected the TM2 would also though it’s a tad bigger (I have large hands too so not a problem for me). Thanks!

No they do not. This unit is a little bigger and a lot badder! Every hit is the same (as long as if its not cashed lol) just as powerful as the very first hit!

My hits always felt the same on the TM1. Could you explain this in a little more detail? Is something different going on electronically.

What's your relationship with Tinymight? How did you come by a beta?

new stem screen (which helps funnel air more evenly) and addressing all possible areas that might leak air, nothing electronically different.
Some people experienced issues with OG not having as strong as vapor as normal usually needing adjustment/tightening. This is no longer the case and I have needed no adjustments or tightening of any sort. This in my opinion makes a more solid vape!

No relation to TM but thru returns and my extremely heavy usuage and past with Ghost and Haze Square and finding their issues out. I was personally asked to “torture test” this device and find it to be the most solid portable vape out there imo. I’m a medical user and TM2 is the first vape I actually am decreasing the amount of medicine needed And used per day!

Hey, it’s nice to have someone on here with early access. Are you comparing the new TM2 to a older used TM? Or are you comparing both units in a new condition?

Also I always Stir at least once per session. I get a dark circle after about the 3rd hit.

The new batt cover is nice, but I just use my thumb, press and turn no probs. (I kinda like that as I don’t have to worry about over tightening).

thanks for your feedback.

No.

Comparing older version tinymight version 1 (OG) with final new unit.

No more dark circles! Extraction full.

You will love the battery cover if you swap out batteries!

All of the changes came from you guys saying what you wanted in a version 2. Everything was addressed from battery cap to USB-C. It is a total overhaul imo.

I thought the original battery cap only needed to be tightened(just past the connection vibration) by finger strength, so I thought the groove in the cap was for your thumbnail in case you tightened it a bit too much.
A coin or key would scratch the surface, but not your thumbnail.
I see the value the new Pico-like cap provides, but the flush design of the original looks sleeker.

I like a lot of the features of the new version and would order one if I didn't already have two. :p
I like the TM very much and consider it my favorite vape these days, but the 2 I have work great and 3 is too many. At some point I may sell one and get a new one, but probably not soon. With a 10 year warranty I doubt I will need to replace a failed one...

Damn, all this research, get a TM, happy camper, take a few months break from FC Forums, come back and now theres a TM2?! Didn't they just release a newer version that had updated internals?! I like the updates though, like the battery cap, I've already scratched the hell out of the top of my TM swapping batteries every day.
