Well Shitty, I hope the stank fades for you.....I am going to gift away my V3 and most likely snag one of these beasts. If you don't want that smelly thang, you know where to send it brother.

I kind of want you to get a new one to tell me what you think of the smell and taste lol I can't imagine it could be better than xmax v3pro as I got one of the new veri peri units and I was still impressed, using roffu again now similarly surprised me with how much worse the vapor quality is for me...

Yeah sort of, I don't treat it that way though, because you don't want to cover the holes completely, and you don't tap them like a carb either, like I would just cover the bottom half of the holes and then I would like go as I see (in glass) or feel the vapor, then let go of the holes and keep going, then like over the button and keep inhaling to fully clear. It just helps so you don't have to draw as slow potentially, simplifies the inhale technique for thicker vapor.

One thing to mention here, the smaller air intake, is kind of a negative, it's right by the power button, I think it's a bad location and it's easy to cover it accidentally, and if you cover it here you're completely cutting off the airflow and vapor as a result.

Well, like I said, I don't respect those reviews much haha, for one thing the bowl is steel not titanium, that was established if you read this thread (though I can't say what he received exactly) but yeah regardless for me like I said taste is terrible regardless... I also think performance is pretty much the same, I think I might even like the metal bowl more, but I have to use it more, mostly used the glass.
Maybe i misread titanium or just thinking about another vape entirely, as of right now i'm talking to you, hearing video reviews in the background and searching vaporent reddits for juicy topics, so my mind is a bit full of info:D

I just like the troy character so much and he seems pretty knowledgeable, but i guess he can't get everything right, also different persons have different tastes.

Haha yeah you have to take everything with a grain of salt, he has a big following, he has some knowledge, but he also gets a lot of free stuff and is very careless with his gear imo fails to share all the knowledge? It can be overload though haha I'm sure there is more reports of this one on Reddit maybe, this thread has most of the info I know, where the titanium thing came up

I cannot take too many hits or use upper temps at all yet...
This is what I find but I really like the flavor (630 puffs on the counter) at lower temps, 150-180c max...I don't like the flavour at higher temps but I do like that the higher temps are there if someone needs them.
the bowl is steel
It is actually stainless steel which is quite different from just steel.
Maybe i misread titanium
Early versions had Ti but production get S/S.
I do not like comparing vapes in specific vape threads as the rules say but I will just say this seems like it is more sesh orientated when used native than the V3 Pro, it is a great temp stepper for a long sesh starting at 150, followed by 160, 170, and 180c to finish anything left in the bowl where the ABV is the same colour as a very spent Plenty at max temp.

Is there a glass mouthpiece to go over the SS chamber?
I have played with mating it to an Ed's TNT WPA and a j hook using the V3 Pro capsules and to a bong using the Roffu disc above as well as below the bowl to keep the bud in place, this is also possible with the glass oven but I am useless and would end up breaking it...anyhoo,

I would also add that the Xmax V3 Pro dosing caps work a treat in the Roffu, just need an extra few degrees in temp to get cooking and make for an easy mate of the Roffu to a bong.
The XMax V3 Pro dosing caps have brought the Roffu back into my regular rotation.

I wasn't reaching for the Roffu as much because it seemed to need a stir to get even extraction, and removing the mouthpiece to stir released a lot of conduction vape smell into the ambient air.

With the dosing caps I can get dark brown to black ABV (as I prefer) without stirring. The caps reduce the size of the load somewhat.

Word of advice - don't neglect to thoroughly clean the dosing caps before use. I failed to do so and got some pretty bad "machine oil" taste on my first few bowls :(

Both the XMax V3Pro capsules and the POTV One capsules fit in the Roffu using the glass tube with the screen removed. The capsules have their own screens so you're not missing any filtration.

Oh I only have fury edge capsules? Might be the same... What about the metal stem? Seems silly to use the glass stem, with a metal capsule...? I was wondering about removing the screen, how easy it is to get it back, in the proper position afterwards lol

Do not pack, just sprinkle fill for no stir, mostly convection goodness.

I have just because it was the oven on the unit, the caps work great in both ovens.

Really easy, just push the o-ring surrounded filter disc into an oven then insert the oven and the filter sits directly on the oven to leave a full bowl (just watch to see that the o-ring does not come off the disc during the install when it is a bit 'sticky' like I do here:)).
Cap on a bong takes longer and is thinner in vapor than the filter top and bottom,

hi!!

man, please, whats the name of that silicone/rubber thing that you used to attach the vape and the rig? I tried to google for j hook as you said in a previous comment, but i found just generic stuff.

Just a 1/2" of silicon hose to mate the Roffu bowl to a glass WPA (14mm in the above video) so the WPA can mate to a water bubbler or a J-Hook.
The hose is 14mm OD, 10mm ID with a 2mm wall thickness and is available at most home brew shops or online.
The glass WPA is from Ed's TNT, out of stock ATM.:(

Hey evvybody

Been using the V3Pro for about a year now and just received a Roffu today...
First impression is that it's a much better draw experience. Instead of feeling like the draw is restricted, you can take slow long breaths without that extra effort to get air in the first place.

I'm familiarizing myself with the posts here, mindful that I don't want to ask questions that have already been answered, but I'mma risk doing that right now lol... Is there a water pipe adapter, per se´, or some way to adapt this to a bubbler? The mouthpiece looks exactly like the original PAX. I hadn't graduated to glass back then, but if there was one for that... maybe the same for Roffu?

Looking forward to contributing my $0.02 on it soon!

Pax had a smaller mouthpiece in a different shape so that's not going to help... I'm sure Delta 3D studios can make a silicone WPA to fit, but I'm also sure that there will be an official WPA for this eventually as well...

Thank you, SS... the WPA may even wind up being unnecessary for my purposes; I got the WPA for the V3P and used it once. The Roffu vapor temp seems much cooler, too.

I'd read you were doing a burn off... is that to say, you're just letting it "run", no air movement through it?

Nah you need to get the air going otherwise the off-gassing might just stick to somewhere else, whereas you really want to get rid of it not just displace it. Putting the vape in front of a large fan could do the trick. In some you can blow instead of drawing, which is much healthier of course... but in others, the design is not meant for reverse air flow and blowing the hot air the wrong direction might cause overheating or even melting issues. Dunno how this one fares in that regard.

I'm not missing the robot fart days, when we were beta testing all kinds of Chinese craps in all shapes or forms on this forum. The old guns will remember the kind of crazy stuff we encountered sometimes...

I like using my V3P through water actually, but I also like to use the F2 WPA and sometimes through hooks

Yes, that is all I did, I would blow air through it a little bit but not much, mostly just sitting, I don't have any kind of fan set up or the stuff Kero is talking about, but I know it is more effective, he is a pro at breaking in these Chinese vapes... My V3P neutralized so quick but this one still stinks and tastes bad so I don't know if it is just my specific unit or what? I moved on to using it but it's really not enjoyable for me lol

LOL Robot fart.
Fortunately, I guess, I'm not detecting any taste at all, frankly.
I suppose I won't blow a lot of air into it until it's clear that it's OK to do that. I guess it could be damaging to unit if the airflow isn't open enough.

Man that stinks... literally and figuratively. I gotta say, I haven't detected any machine taste; I've filled it a few times today so far, and I have to say, at 185ºC which is where I start (Session mode, one or two hits, turn off), I get a much fuller cloud production. And it's so much cooler, than the V3P. I understand why you liked using the V3P with the WPA.
The neat thing is that the Roffu will defer my desire for the WPA, since it feels so smooth to me.

Now here's something else... Forgive the "link" as opposed to inline photo, for some reason it won't accept this link in the Media Attach here...

Photos of Roffu vs V3P Battery

Are the V3P and Ruffo batteries the same? They look identical, but the numbers are different. I've googled these and I get no helpful hits on the Roffu battery "82150 Lithium Ion Battery". The V3P battery on the other hand, "18650", is abundantly available.

So I'm confused as to how to order an extra battery... is it the same as the V3P? Seems crazy that they wouldn't be, looking so identical and can be so easily mistaken. I'm unsure of the voltage of the Roffu, but the V3P battery is 3.7V nominally.

Any thoughts, please?

I would hazard a guess that they are both 18650's and that the 82150 is the end of a serial number but not a battery identifier itself.

You can probably check on the box or manual of the roffu to confirm it's an 18650 👍

Serious question, but disregard if you did already, but did you check the user manual? I don't own this vape but usually you would find that there.

That's the crazy thing... the little booklet in the box says nothing at all about the battery. Zero.

I'm gonna get in trouble for the double posts, please forgive, I haven't used this forum in a while.

I did check the manual!
What's most weird is that googling the numbers on the "82150" doesn't show anything remotely like it except for some alkalines.

I'm temped to try the 18650 in the Ruffo, but I'd fucking hate myself if it blew it.

EDIT: Googled around on just the Roffu, and it did come up in a description that it is the 18650.
It's just so weird that those numbers are nowhere to be found on the battery, and the numbers that ARE on it, lead nowhere to find it.

18650 = 18mm wide x 650mm tall.
Buy better aftermarket batteries then what was included. SEARCH the TM thread for SAFE BRAND batteries by known & TRUSTED vendors.
