That sounds pretty neat but I am not one for blowing into my vapes, plus, I always underfill to just below the rails which seems to stop them from getting gummed up so much. It is interesting you say the trench should be slightly overfilled as I don't think I've ever heard that before.

:peace:

As I see it the reason why the trench should be slightly overfilled is to ensure that after the box is shaken between hits there's enough flower to land inside the trench as some will fall to the sides.

Blowing into a LB should be cool as I cannot see anything bad happening.
I never thought of doing it, but it should work really well!
I always try to shake before cutting the heat off as the herb freezes
in place as soon as the screen cools. Reminds me of getting stuck in an
avalanche - moving snow becomes concrete as soon as it stops!
I will try it out on todays walk in the cold!

I totally agree, as there's very little to go wrong with the LB but I just don't like blowing into vapes in general, and some manufacturers specifically advise against it. Personally, the thought of moist breath going into my vapes just doesn't appeal & I wouldn't want any of my friends to do it when sharing. I remember being sprayed by a deflating balloon & being pretty grossed out! But I know this is not the same thing & I don't expect others to feel the same way.

I generally shake it straight after each hit while still holding in the good stuff - sometimes extra hard if the material clumps up & this usually works it free, although sometimes a finger prod is required. Plus, it mostly seems to settle back into the trench fairly easily with the help of a little tap here & there.

Gotta love that there are many ways to enjoy this little box & I think, as with so many things, if you like it - do it!

Have fun

Got me an eight pack of EBLs off Amazon last week and got them charged up for a day hike. I loaded a trench using the finishing grinder, put. a hair tie around the MFLB to keep that lid secure in the closed location and off I went with four cells, all sporting their caps. I go native in nature and boy was it an enjoyable time. It is a fun device to use and creates great flavor and effects!

I remember watching a MFLB tutorial on YT and the person suggested that a used tic tac candy box is a perfect receptacle for ground bud as it pours directly into the trench. I haven't tried that yet but it's always stuck in my mind as a good idea if you're out and about with it.

They actually make some high output cells now? Got a solid reference to know what we're looking for?

Yes, vinyl 33's on a college dorm grade stereo from the '70's and a freshly filled launch box - perfection.

College and joint’s & my roommate was bonging some opiate infested THAI that was popular at the time:(1977).
MFLB was not invented yet?
SMOKING MAUI WOWIE in da Sandwich Islands long blonde hair and dirty bong water was not cool!

I have EBL 2400 and 2800 mah I got from Amazon and they're both better than the powerex the box ships with currently.

I bought these a few weeks ago and really enjoy the stronger output - https://www.ebay.com/itm/202228849860

Thai stick & Maui Wowie, brings back college memories.

Exactly, and it sometimes makes me yearn for the strains of old.
Is today's high end cannabis really that much better than the best stuff that we had in the '70's?
I guess so but I remember beautiful visual cascades with eyes closed in my friend's teenage room from "Columbian."

I gave my finishing grinder away with my old LB. I now need to upgrade from the junk no name grinder I have currently thats been good for rolling joints but terrible for fine grind like the LB prefers. So essentially I'm hunting a grinder that will be used exclusively for the LB but I'm the hard headed type that thinks there might be something better than the grinder made for the LB.

Isn't the finishing grinder perfect enough for the task? I find it ideal, smart and logical. It even locks onto the unit (for the most part).

Yep, it's on my short list. I'm down to 3, the BC, the GR8TR v2 mini or tbe finishing grinder. I really like tbe ability to simply soak my grinder in ISO when it gets sticky and the finishing grinder isnt up to that. I grind into my sifter box anyway so I'm leaning towards the easiest cleaning options since the sifter box is my final step instead of the grinder.

I'm totally off grid with limited power for things like coffee grinders and ease of cleaning is great when I can grind a fresh bud into the sifter box to dry and not worry about the grinder getting gunked up.

Today marks a month of only consuming herb through the use of the MFLB. My wife and I previously consumed about a quarter ounce a week on average smoking one hits from a dugout. A month into the FB and we have barely consumed a quarter ounce total.
I dont think we could be any happier with the purchase. Not only is it saving us money, its cleaner, taste WAY better and the high is much better. 10 out of 10, best herb related purchase I've ever made.

My wife and I started out vaping with the MFLB as well and had the same experience. We both LOVED that first tasty hit on a new fill and had to learn to share/alternate who gets it.... Play nice!

What is the club you speak of? I have never heard of it and want to know more!

It was a separate store with special prices and offers for people who already owned the Flight Box. I used to have the site bookmarked but I seem to have lost it. I bought several beta test projects there (there was a pipe at one point that worked like the flight box but was designed to combust)

Searching MFLB for stem options I see that it's been "discontinued."
Is that correct?
