I'm poised and ready for POTV to get the mouthpieces in stock, too! Gonna snag more dosing caps while I'm at it.

I really like this form. The mouthpiece is very comfortable. Do you mean just the mouthpiece shape, or the whole long shape?
The whole flute like shape. It's actually very discrete, but I just don't like it compared to a pocket / palm shape..

The mouthpiece is comfortable but I'd much prefer a glass tube. I know this style is popular with other vapes but to me it always felt like a medical device.

vaped.
VPM.com (Canada) has the V3, the glass mouthpieces, and included a silicone WPA in my order for free.
Also, it seems like POTV is expecting them by Black Friday, they are listed on their Black Friday specials page as coming soon, 20% off
can you share the POTV link to the Xmax V3 you see? I am only seeing the V2 in their listings and BF sale secrion. Thanks!

FYI, for anyone looking for a cover for the mouthpiece and vents for pocket carry, the silicone WPA plus a silicone stopper for Arizer solo/air stem works a charm. The WPA does add about an inch in length. Some other sort of stopper over the WPA would work, these are what I had on hand…

Senior Stoner liked and used his Fog Pro a fair bit (he mainly dabs) until he got his Xmax V3 Pro, the reason I did not bother with a Fog Pro. (still tempted) :2c:
I really am enjoying the glass tube mouthpiece on the V3, it does not cool as well as the OG but is not far behind. Where it does excel is in mouthfeel and extra airflow so you can load more in the bowl and not get restricted.
One more major benefit is being able to hold the unit in any orientation while toking on it...just make it a little more ergonomic on the hand.
I have also used the WPA as a glass mouthpiece and it is good too, next mod will be to remove the S/S 'colling unit' from the WPA to free up airflow a bit more for hopefully single puff extraction...currently, it takes 2 to 3 to do the job.

Volute of Vapor
Yesterday I had a few comparison sessions between this vape and others. one thing I notice it does well, imho, is preservation of flavour. At 220c with other vapes I get generic roasted taste that's not particularly nice. the v3 pro does much better on that front. I get a much better flavour throughout until it's spent.

If as topgreen says a version came out with a more powerful heater and they could change the flute form.. I would gladly pay double..
Thank you for the kinds words and the suggestion, I notice it :brow:
Last night I tried something different. Instead of grinding the herb, I broke it into small pieces and packed it in the V3 Pro. That, along with "puffing' on the vape created more vapor.

After some thought, weighing out flavour and performance, this vape does have its time and place. Instead of 'chasing the dragon', seeking just the psychoactive effects, I had to remind myself again about the ritual. The V3 Pro gives nice flavour. I will spend some time appreciating that.

That's great to know, I'll taste that trick but it's strange unground flowers to produce bigger clouds, usually that's the opposite... but I'll give it a try, for sure!
Was the material posted? Thanks!
I believe I replied you in a previous reply, I asked and they said high quality foodgrade plastic, let me know...
I hope Topgreen/XVape are watching this thread.

The V3 Pro is pretty good, but it needs a better top/mouthpiece. The magnets aren't very strong, the top is loose fitting and needs some minor tweaks. The fix shouldn't be complicated; use stronger magnets, and make sure that they don't pull out.

I'll pass the info to the team, thank you!

Do the v3 glass pieces have a honeycomb screen or do you make a basket screen?

Same as the WPA, it has a wire mesh screen fitted @Hemper but the entire S/S CU could be easily replaced with a basket screen or the ceramic screen from an Xmax Ace if you want less metal in the airpath and want a bit more airflow (that can be countered by packing more in the oven).

I've got a V3 Pro, and original Fog, and I'm waiting for a Fog Pro. The Fog is heavy, solid, and feels good in the hand; the V3 Pro, feels like a flute or recorder.

The V3 Pro gives great flavour, and it is what I have been using for the past few days because I'm NOT seeking psychoactive effects. Put another way, it tastes great, but not much of a 'buzz'. I've tried varied temperatures, I've tried ground weekend, I've tried ripped, and ground flower, different ways of drawing, and generally just tried this, that, and the other, but not much of a buzz. Right now, there is a place for this in my day.

For getting a buzz, the Starry 3 original is, in my opinion, what hits me the hardest. The Solo II comes in second.

The fury edge ones fit. Its fine with, but I think you get a little bit extra performance without. Whether this justifies the ease and not having to clean the chamber (mouthpiece and top screen still needs cleaning) is up to you..
I have to agree with you. Being able to pack more directly in the bowl, should produce more vapor.

In the forums others are talking about using dosing caps, so I thought I might buy some to try. In the end though, they will probably just end up in the 'Junk Drawer'.

I've never seen the appeal of caps with any of my vapes!?! seem so much portable to just grab your V3 and a dube tube. why would I want to carry around caps that need to be in something or the will get dirty/linty in your pocket, then I have to carry around the smelly used caps, keep them separate from the unused!?! seems so much easier to sprinkle fill from the dube tube, when finished take off mp turn upside down and tap my avb on the street. too many cons, not enough pros for me

They have the V3 and they have glass wpa and silicone wpa, but no glass mp; I'm on the list to be emailed when they get some glass mp's.

@LesPlenty (or anyone) pls confirm, the glass wpa is 14mm?
