Just bought a matte black model from @VGOODIEZ to hold me over until the Vapbongs go onsale

is there a perfected WPA I noticed there was two options
Appreciate your support.

I need to update my pics. 7th floor updated the design so the whip tubing is inserted into the adapter as opposed to wrapping around a post with the old adapter. Not 100% why the change was necessary but they tell me it's better.

Most appliances in my home uses a transformer and circuit boards in a plastic housing, not DC current through wires that the common user is meant to cut and fix in a metal housing.

@hoptimum
I agree. I’ve played with the thought of hanging SSV, though the DBV would be better, on a wall with the heater pointed downwards as my main problem with the SSV is the material falling out of the basket screen or the basket screen itself falling out. Minivap baskets help with this a bit as they’re deeper than the arizer ones. Possibly the biggest problem I have with it is what to do with the whip which constantly flops around hitting the glass mputhpiece on things, is in the way and falls on the floor. So far I’ve broken glass pieces on both the SSV and the arizer EQ this way. I’ve thought about constructing a wooden box for it with hangers for both ends of the whip but in the end it’d be too much of an effort since I don’t have access to a work shop.

Not to throw a curve but I use the Vapor Bros mini whip with the standard SSV all the time, and reading this brought up a thought that I could possibly use the Vapor Bros Viper whip set with the SSV as well. Has anyone tried this?

What is your assessment on performance with and without the heater enhancement? Thanks
ill be testing it out today

edit:

TEsted it and it performs better as far as even extraction with the quartz heater enchantment. Without it I have been getting scorch marks in the middle with the rest green. So I'm going back to it. That being said it weirdly enough seems hotter without it unless I'm mistaking the reason I'm getting scorched bud in the middle

I've had my SSV for almost 12 years....
It's still my first hit every day, and last hit every night.
Except for an 18 month period in 2015 (Police Evidence Locker), it has been on and running
since 2010.
It's not for lack of Vaporizers... I just love my SSV!

Hi ssv users.can anyone help me out?im looking to making ssv into the ssv43 but I don’t have the spherical heater cover I have the ground glass hands free heater cover and that is my question, can you use the GG heater cover or do 100% need the spherical heater cover?I have asked this before but didn’t not receive an answer so hopefully more people are using the ssv43 method now and can help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there !
I used a part of a downstem around the SSV rod with sucess for the last 6 months... and i use a ground glass heater cover.
I guess it's a bit less powerfull than filling all the gaps in the heater cover with 3/4mm beads… but it does makes my unit turn into an aggressive SSV on Steroïd.
Small draws (on the unit… as my "technique" is to get a small draw on SSV and then finish my draw away from heat), massive clouds… what else ? ^^

No G43 SSV for me… i don't need to have such a device with "more power" !
SSV is still one of the hardest hitting vaaheadpe to my point, rock solid and bullet proof... Only my OG Brick will smack my face that way... :D

And now you wan't to try it on steroïds ?
Go ahead !!! it has already be done with success ! ;)

And by the way… tell us here what you feel and how this might enhance your expérience :)

The ground glass heater cover will be fine. I converted a DBV, which has a similar heater cover, and it's been good. You'll need to deal with the air intake hole to prevent the beads from escaping, while still allowing for air flow.

@hoptimum @Flow thanks very much for the input 🙂 do the normal glass beads fuse to the heating rod like I have read or does that not become a problem?I am just about to purchase some borosilicate glass beads but would be willing to spend more money if needed.

Hi @Larrytargeteye , my glass or boro (!?) bong downstem does not show any signs of melting.
I cannot say if it's glass or boro but it's just a cut of a regular downstem… i watched at it carefully for the first week of use or so, but yet i don't and nothing has moved, changed, or melted... ✌️
