Cheap and easy, mostly cheap. The central line is the actual whip, the folded piece is the same diameter as the stubs that come with the Plenty and the red rings are o-rings for additional expansion, but proved to be unnecessary. The bubbler end of the connection depends on the dimensions of the bubbler. Good Luck
Brilliant👍🙌

Hey everyone, got myself a plenty for quite cheap the other day. With it I ordered a little wood stand (the brush hack didnt appeal to me). I also read before hand that the bowl is insanely big (hence the name huh) and like with most vapes you are not doing yourself many favours by underfilling.

So I also ordered a reduced chamber. when I opened the package I learned about the trick from the instructions where you put one of the liquid pads on top of a half filled bowl so my first thought was hmm, wonder if the reducer was even worth it if I could just do this instead.
The next surprise was that it came with a little capsule. I am not quite sure about the use case for these, when/why would I use these instead of filling the reduced chamber directly?

Last thing I am uncertain about is how high I have to fill the chamber. The manuals made it clear why its important to fill it, but I am not quite sure which of the rims it is. Also i am not sure if its a bad thing if the outer area of the reducded chamber has some herb laying in it(i find it a little hard to fill all the way to the top without getting any crumbs to the side and picking them out is a hassle)

I will try to add some pictures later.

Thanks in advance for all replies

I use a 24mm socket to sit on the bowl to fill it without the mess. As far as how much...enough to stop the load shifting around or just enough to completely cover the oven floor topped with the liquid pad.
The reducer is worthless IMO and was only released years after the device as some complained about the large oven. (I can manage 3.5g of herb in the oven this way:myday:)

do i fill till there, or the upper line?

similar question on the smaller bowl below. the very top of the line below that?

Fill it

Plenty-chamber-filled.jpg

The upper black housing, the PEEK plastic ring, inserts down into filled chamber. It compresses/ shoves herb bits at perimeter, seating down and making contact with metal chamber at the bevel point

Pic on right shows load after screwing down upper housing. The load makes good contact with upper screen, unable to shift. If you only fill to the bevel point, you will have slight shifting and slightly weaker hits

I used reducer with capsules exclusively for a year. Preferred neatness and ease. But found I needed to shape upper screen with a nipple protrusion. The reducer's inner ring is not tall enough to press against upper housing screen (S&B fixed this height gap error with the Volcano Hybrid reducer ring -- it meets flush with upper screen, and, they changed upper housing ring to metal from plastic. It is beveled to marry with the bevel on Hybrid herb chamber, so filling Hybrid to bevel line is OK)

Edit: 0.75g
another edit: @sonti - great that you are reading the manual. One important item users overlook is how to remove and re-insert the metal chamber from orange plastic housing. S&B has diagrams showing how you press up from under to remove, never press down. One or more of the tiny orange plastic retaining tabs will break. Habits die hard, and most folks use q-tip swabs to clean bowls of other vapes while still warm. Do not press down and wipe chamber with q-tip, try to break the habit before you break a tab

My Plenty has been on the shelf for over two years... My Tinymight won't let go of its owner it looks like my dog:dog:
Today I suddenly took it and even without using it I decided to reprogram the ECU:hmm:...
:D now this is a monster

Great idea . How did you do that?

My friend has a plenty that pretty much only gets used to re-vape Abv by filling the chamber to max and going for it until no more vapour.

His main complaint is it doesn't get quite hot enough.

This hack may be perfect.

Regards the reducer. I bought him one. I agree it's a complete waste. I thought it would mean better hits from smaller more compact load, but it's the opposite. It robs heat from a system that already tops out too low for his preferred temperature.

Maybe the seal issue that was mentioned above was also a factor I didn't know about.. are there any hacks to get a better seal between screen and the reducer?

@Vapenvy - If you have a 3/8in washer, use thumb to create nipple. Or, you can carefully remove the reducer, and use that to make the nipple. Don't worry about only using it for reducer, it works fine with full loads. I posted couple pics of nipples at bottom of p78. Back on p62-64 I babbled quite a bit about capsules, filling them slightly overfilled, nippled screen keeping it in place so air won't bypass around a slightly lifted capsule

@ChooChooCharlie thanks.
We can try that next time we are allowed to be in the same room.

I am a little embarrassed to admit I actually got confused and thought you had posted this. Apologies.

Which is what I am most interested in. Have you raised the temperature settings?

@dzoinp care to elaborate? Thanks

That amount would be fine with the liquid pad on it to stop the load shifting.

S&B Tease ... as always :brow:

Understand that last night's sessions were devastating.:spliff::spliff: I had this idea for a long time but I was putting it off...It was always going to be without the manufacturer's warranty, but now it's gone and the vape was unused. so...

It is necessary to open it and act on the ring that limits the dial that is embedded in the thermostat. I carefully unlocked it and repositioned it to allow the dial to run some more.

Unfortunately I only took one picture.

A similar hack that I used to do to the old adjustable BIC lighter...it was like a reserve tank switch.
Thanks for the picture...if I do it I will make a video...an extra 10 or 15c would be handy on a bong.

hahah that's probably where I got this idea hahahah I did that a lot
Well but now that I was editing the photo to post I noticed that it can be done in a much simpler way...
Just cut off the first stop of the stop ring! How come I didn't see this yesterday?? I'm going to put the washer where it was (you can see that I marked it with an acetate pen) and I'm going to cut the first stop just for one reason: the dial now doesn't go to less than 3 .
I'll post better pictures later I promise

That will be worth waiting for... a proper+, better than just painting it black or changing some tippy feet so it falls more often.
you don't have to wait that long... it's done!
I removed the limiter ring(you can see the markings with an acetate pen), cut the max limit tab, put it back to its original position, put a little retractable sleeve to make it more pro and made a performance dial.
My plenty now reaches temp :D :hmm: L = 9 = 225c maybe ?

Vapes R Great
Reducer and capsules always worked well for me… actually use my Plenty more since. Also switched out the metal coil for hybrid whip. The 2nd capsule when oven is already primed is always “money”.

Only issue is the design of the reducer, dangerous always falls out of orange housing when hot. I have the very first version though. I think it may of gotten slightly redesigned?

I don’t think a Plenty+Turbo model is ever coming sadly. I want one with more power, proper hybrid whip attachment and a fan assist, lol. maybe a digital temp control!

Wonder if this could be done to the Volcano Classic? I think it has a similar set up. Would that even be desirable? Not sure...

You can do it too, but... do you really think it's necessary?
The Plenty yes...needs a little more power...it's almost general opinion
Tonight I'm going back to whip... it's too potent for this spiked stem of Argo

Man, the dial hack looks good, I'm tempted to do it but will wait for my warranty to go on the plenty, that has been my only complaint is that it needs an extra 10-20C.

I have had good results with the reducer, strong fluffy vapour in a tight pack of .25 ~ .35 , I pack tight like I have always done on my mighty, it pumps it out but obviously in much less hits than a standard bowl, vapor with the plenty can be a bit dry, but it can always make my eyes water when I puff back to back till the bowl is spent.

It is already here thanks to @dzoinp, or you can wait until hell freezes over when S$B will spend some money on R&D instead of marketing.
Tested on 9 ... 230c? hummm... i don't think so... :hmm:
I hope the plastic in the bowl doesn't melt!...but the sessions are quick. 0.5g(?) 210c 2 hits and jump to max... maybe 10?min and after that I immediately remove the bowl from the device. so far i don't notice anything but i only used at max today, to test.
Now this goes to the limit of his and mine... it eats greens a lot! But it hits hard:D...very hard:whip:
