Got my Ispire today from Sourcemore...that was quick.
I am not sure what is going on with my version as it has the flower/concentrate switch like the early version but the min temp is 250f?

Seems like the latest firmware (V00.15) so maybe an old unit that was updated?

So there may be a way for early adopters to get the new lower starting temps.
Edit, my unit came with 1x flower cup and 1x concentrate cup so now I have 3x flower cups and only 1x oil cup ffs.

If mine doesn't come with one, buy an Oregon Blower dropdown of your choosing, have it delivered to me and I'll ship it to you in trade for a flower cup... problem(s) solved! (And if any Nigerian or Congolese landrace beans happen to fall in the box, oops...! :razz:)

I just liked the small form of the Puffco, the DrDabber unit is huge compared (and S/S not Ti or ceramic).
Puffco will not post to Oz the bastards.

My new Wand also works great with a vapcap.
I just double-click on 650f to enter Auto Mode without the cap inserted, the unit will flash red to indicate a problem (nothing in the coil). I then slowly bring the Wand down onto the cap until the red flashing led in the coil changes color (orange in my case as that shows the unit is now heating in concentrate made). Once I heard the click I just remove the Wand and hit the stem until the cooldown click then slide the wand back on (it just flashes red until it detects an object again like the start)
I cleared the full VC in 2x click cycles with Ed's cigar stem...the second cycle was so thick I thought I combusted but ABV looked like I might get 1 more little puff...but not me, if it is opened I refill, fuck that stirring business!
Looks like a perfect roast for me,

I am sure a bong will help vape it faster...pretty bent from all this testing...good fun!
So far it works better than advertised for me.
Flower mode 1 worked a treat with my Capstone capsule, 2 long draws on the rattle can and finished..a bit darker roast,

Comes with 2 styles of capsule, good little vape apart from the straw mouthpice that is now delivered with it...I replaced it with a VC 'M' body!...the caps,

The X-Max Ace concentrate pod fits nicely too, I will try it once the hemp fiber is totally soaked with rosin dabber residue (those annoying puddles add up),

So, I now have in hand both a v.14 and v.15 unit to compare, and I have a few observations about the temperature settings. Long story short, they are indeed timing presets, and nothing more.

The V.14 that bottoms out at 450° takes about 35 seconds to run a cycle at that temp, getting an empty insert/banger to about 350° according to my iR thermometer.

The V.15 that bottoms out at 250° takes 22 seconds to get there, and the bowl is actually at ~250°

Subsequent heatups are not any faster. The timing is always the same, the bowl just gets hotter and hotter. There is no temperature detection happening at all.

For dynavaps, I can detect no timing differences throughout the temperature range of the device, so it doesn't increase "intensity" there, either.

So if you have a V.14 unit, don't sweat it. The "lower temps" might be handy for dry herb but no one is using this for that purpose. And if you are, just pull the wand off at 22s and you'll have the same experience as the v.15 at 250°.

Haven't tried but can when back home for concentrate. No IH flower if not Dynavap until i hear that someone has figured that out. But Wand and Switch reports on non-DV flower generally aren't great.

Cool man, good luck...! I'm only on the early stages trying to get familiar with this thing and SB HM (had them both less than 48 hours)... and then got hung up trying it out normally with trates... ha! Early impression is this thing is fuckin awesome! No shit! Just the whole concept already works so well, I can only imagine where it will take us!

I threw in a few 3mm ruby pearls with some Banana Bread live badder for fun and the Pi ball cap works well, too (stock is better tho)... So much fun! (Note the carb cap stands work great as "cup holders" and 4 prong jewelry tweezers are a must... :tup:)

That's cuz you're using it wrong... 😜 Try a rather full, somewhat loose tamp in a Ti tip with a reg cap and a short glass, but long enough gong body to roll the tip up thru the wand easily.... you can even rest the top edge of the cap directly on (or up against, in and under) the extra glass lip on the top of the wand oven opening... I just crank the temp up to max (800) and roll away...you can effectively extract a full cap in one hit easily this way... and if you're not careful, and you heat it low enough on the stem, you can heat it to combust w/o so much as a peep from the cap... crazy!

But that's just one of dozens of dif ways I've already enjoyed using this thing...! Another, I like even more, is using the wand just like a reg old school bic lighter to light a bowl whilst sucking...! So awesome, you just ride the IH until you can't take anymore... all the while easily being able to keep from combusting... the only limit is how big/good/seasoned your lungs are...!
