Mine arrived today!

Just kidding! Lol, after no sleep last night. I woke up refreshed today and just felt like that would be a perfect way to start everyone's day. 47 days early, April Fools :)
I apologize if you have answered this previously(I tried to look back and didn't see anything), what kind of burl is in your avatar picture? It's beautiful.!

You know what, @funkyjunky designed it for me as a custom slot in the last drop and he basically walked me through the design, I'll shoot him a message to ask him. Yes, it's absolutely gorgeous, I wanted an acrylic to complement it as it's currently my favorite portable. Right now, out of everything I own, the P80 and the VapBong grab my attention most of the time. I guess the VROD and the bowel are in the heavy rotation too. :)

How much did people pay for the tetra?
The prebuilts were about 300 CHF, if I remember correctly for the custom the burl was a 60 or 80 CHF option., 90 at most. This was some time ago. I know he has a very limited supply of burl.

I was browsing the site.... it just shows tetrap80 customs. In the order screen do you just pick the basic stuffs for the build?

Could you expound on this payment method? Does a bank transfer guarantee a hold on an item? How is it that payment isn’t actually made them same day as in your case? My bank denied me 4 times with my Visa debit card so I’m curious to see how underwhelmed and disappointed yet-to-own a P80 a person I am can actually obtain one the next drop - which will be my third as I haven’t scored ONE yet. :peace:
Edit: Was told i shouldn't post this publicly. I always respect the rules of the house so perhaps via PM if you haven't already read it.

295 CHF was the price on these latest acrylics, which is on the higher end for exotic woods too I think, it's like $315 USD

Yeah I think the most basic was like 235 CHF?? No hard woods or paint etc...

Yes, with customs you chose the options and the price changes or you can click the box for a consultation with them about your build, the pre builts are a fixed price.

I’m hoping I’ll get an email for the next drop...
Just email the contact email on the Lamart website and ask to be notified of all drops, they are extremely good about adding everyone to the list.

Also, you'll see people post here a few days before the drop as well, so if you subscribe to this thread you will also know as soon as the email goes out.

Hope this helps a bit. I got 2 P80's in this drop, on is for a close friend of mine, it's a gift but if he doesn't really love it when I give it to him, you're welcome to have it for what I paid. I don't need 2 of them, I just wanted one acrylic for myself. PM me your details, and I'll let you know after he sees it. He loves my burl, you never know what someone will think of a work of art!!

If anyone wants another dry mouthpiece option, these go great with the Tetra btw!

Oooh, ya got me! And of course I can't stay focused so I ended up with a piece from Mod Pod Labs and misc bits. I couldn't remember what I added to my unit order, seems while working out details I added a lot. I'm going to play for a long time!

Anyone out there with an acrylic from the last drop willing to give some insight on the up close look and feel? Are we talking really hard shell one piece acrylic panels, or something totally different? Inlaid into a cutout portion of the wood, or glued on top of the solid wood. Inquiring minds want to know.

you can see a few pictures a bit back (p 106) of the acrylic i landed from the first release in january. honestly not the best person to answer your questions as i'm not a woodworker and haven't touched any lamart pieces previously, but it doesn't look like inlays that i've seen pictures of here. more of one piece that's cut/wrapped to the heater/p80, acrylic epoxied to wood? it feels quite solid, but also lighter than i expected. i'm a little nervous to test the durability given the scarcity and artwork, but i haven't noticed any exterior (or interior) wear on mine. i admit i'm a little over the top protective and keep it in a pelican 1150 case and use it upside down (or right side up?) mostly...

i'm curious to see how it compares to the more classic, wooden designs. was lucky enough to get a custom in the jan drop as well, and that one is probably still in the works since the man has clearly been pretty, pretty busy... i say probably since it's been a while since we touched base, but he just dropped more units/slots than ever before, and i'm overly pleased with this unit already, so who am i to care how long it takes... it seems like patience and trust in the process is key. the custom we've chatted about is going to be a wooden design, so i'm thinking a nice complement to the space/cosmo/"the scream" look of the acrylic unit. finding more ways to enjoy it every day. of late the wpa w2c @430f has really scratched the itch. all-corners-of-the-screen-nearly-combusted extraction in two, if three pulls.

congrats to all who struck gold last round! some real tasty units in there. sorry to those whose banks have unlimited VAS protection. i couldn't believe there were still some up after seven or eight minutes. told myself i'd only keep an eye on the festivities from the sidelines this go, but the plethora of time almost forced my hand at another...

Beautiful unit. Thank you for the info, this angle gives a better idea of how the acrylic is set on the wood. He’s a true artist with these devices. I must admit that my Dual is not as well protected as your Tetra P80. I should probably do a better job of it, but I still find myself fondling it even when it’s at rest, feels so good in my hand I can’t resist picking it up and turning it over in my hands like a noob. Will probably be even worse when my P80 arrives. Thanks again.

See I stay up late for these drops, and my brain is all foggy, LOL
I feel you. I got up after 2hrs sleep, just clicked the first box for everything, then totally missed the "let's discuss" box cos it wasn't highlighted. Worst comes to worst, I get a plain Jane one. Which is okay I guess, it's the internals that are the most important, really. The outside is just a bonus. Still, I hope I do get to customise it somewhat!

@passenger right, prebuilt sent within 7 days since the drop date
@PossumMD just send him the first mail yourself, but i agree - the internals are much important than the outside
@bkkbob stay higher with higher amount of devices
Yeah, I used the contact page straight away after buying, and I replied to the email they sent telling me I was successful. They say to wait a few days, and I was gonna do that anyway, so I'm hoping I get to customise! Want some engravings on that bad boy.

Hi @Shit Snacks

I don't have a cent anymore but ... what is your favorite stem for the P80 (excluding j-hook of course 🤣)?
I'll start looking for options ...

thank you in advance !

Haha well unfortunately they no longer carry the longer spiked stems that are customized with glass dots and horns, but the spiky bendy stem that is available is a pretty fantastic design... The tank is great if you want more draw restriction and a lower profile, more sleekly portable... And you said no jayook, but what about the mini j hook from Lamart? They no longer sell the female version, but now they have a male mini j hook that fits directly into the tetra and is pretty nice form factor, keeping tetra upside down like I like it, although not quite as much cooling as the spikes in the bendy and the contraption in the tank, it does have a nice curve though and I actually loaded mine with some rubies too! Finally finished actually makes male vigreux stems as well, they are a great option for a straight cooling stem if that is what you are looking for... Oh yeah the wooden stems, if that appeals to you, though I don't like not being able to use the regular basket screens I am used to, the amaze cooler is pretty phenomenal!

Thank you very much for the feedback!
another member actually recommended the bendy mouth piece to me ... which is good since I ordered one last week to try it on my tinymight!

can't wait !!! 😁
My 2 cents contribution, if you want some wood stems in your collection that still allow use of the basket screens, Ed’s TnT makes some that work very well. The wood selection changes from time to time, but I snagged one in cocobolo and one in maple. Using KGWoodcrafts adapters opened up my entire collection of Dynavap glass and wood stems to be used as well.
