My 2 cents contribution, if you want some wood stems in your collection that still allow use of the basket screens, Ed’s TnT makes some that work very well. The wood selection changes from time to time, but I snagged one in cocobolo and one in maple. Using KGWoodcrafts adapters opened up my entire collection of Dynavap glass and wood stems to be used as well.
I was strongly considering an adapter but I was worked about the increased draw restriction with the reduction in stem size. How do you find it?

I apologize if you have answered this previously(I tried to look back and didn't see anything), what kind of burl is in your avatar picture? It's beautiful.!
@bkkbob will confirm but I'm pretty sure that's an Ambouna Burl.

I use my aftermarket XL dyna stems with condensers removed and have not had any issues with draw restriction, so much so that I avoid using the ones with airports because the draw with those is too open, for me at least.

What about when comparing to some of the Lamart stems? Now that I think about it, the bendy doesn't have a super large internal diameter but I only have that and a WPA (from Lamart).

Yeah maybe that is also why I like the spiky bendy, it's not wide open air flow, but it's not very restricted either, it is a good balance..

I have not even tried my Lamart bendy spiked or tank yet, figured I’d keep them as backups. My best experiences have been with the adapters paired with my Mistvape beaded Dyna stem (excellent draw), my O’Connell Inception stem, and my Glass Charlie spiked, all of these without airports. Flavor has been excellent, and the cooling has been excellent as well. The caveats being I do not vape at really high temps, and being an occasional premium cigar smoker, middle of the road draws are perfect for me. When I get outside my temp comfort zone, I just run through the O’Connell Inception J-Hook, or a glass piece without water.

The correct spelling too haha. Sometimes my fingers don't agree with my brain. I was thinking the two darker pieces were a different species but I couldn't remember. It's a beautiful device with one of my favorite woods .
I'm not any better at spelling than you... I just copied and pasted the message that @funkyjunky sent me. :) Yes Burl is my favorite wood, but it's so hard to find.

I have a custom being built from the drop in January. Ralph was able to score some redwood Burl and he is going to make it look spectacular. I gave him a Star Trek logo to use as an inlay for it with some blue sand. Can't wait to see it. The wait will definitely be worth it.

I asked and he said he was swamped, but hopefully by the end of next week. He has almost 50 units to pack, not including the accessories that people added on. I think he's working non-stop to get them out as quickly as he can.

I didn't ask but guessed as much. Was secretly hoping for Thursday since that's the usual day to ship stuff.

Should be any day now!

My new favorite batteries for Tetra P80 is Molicell P26A, they are giving me the best most consistent performance because of the higher amps (26?), as 70 watts can drain fast, somehow that seems to compensate for the lower mah capacity in my experience.

I know you've mentioned them before, I wanted to check if Mooch has made a review of that cell, he probably has. I know those recommended have stood the test of time as they are constantly recommended. But the more consistent performance sounds good of course. Now I'm interested again. :)

I'm waiting for a P80 and a Tinymight. Was about to buy some of these Molicel P26A, but the weren't available. The website proposed me some Molicel P28A which seem to be the same but with 2800mAh instead of 2600. Both are 25A, supporting 35A max.

Thanks for the heads up! I was unfamiliar with him until somewhat recently. Sounds like a bit of a daunting task but will be worth the wait it seems. I am most excited about having a unique piece of art as well as a vape.

Oh yeah? That sounds pretty great!
@passenger yeah I was a little hesitant at first, but I saw more and more members posting about the Mollicell and decided to get a couple on sale with my VTC6 from 18650batterystore.com since they were so reasonably priced... Performance in my TP80 and my TM has been so great with them, though I am a limited sample size!

I have 8 that rotate thru the days wears, and a pair that are paired for duals, it's all i buy at the moment. They seem to be the most stable for all the vapes I use. Some batteries may excel in specific vapes, but these work at least really well in all.

I'm also waiting on as custom P80 and an RMA TM, I've been without for months and can't wait to try all the new glass that's waiting for them!

What are you all basing your performance comments on? I ask because I really don’t know what I should be looking for when it comes to performance. I have about 16 batteries in my rotation, 10 new since January, the others at least 3-4 years old. I’ve never had one issue with any of them, have a quality Nitecore 4 bay charger, and keep them charged and rotated regularly. I make sure to pair identical batteries in my Dual. What should I be looking for, and paying attention to, in terms of battery performance moving forward?

Oh I've never really had issues, more like how many bowls you got, how many you get before what percentage, how well it works at letting you drain the battery all the way down, does it stop at 40%, for some people the heat protect warning can be triggered though that's never happened to me... Some of my batteries however have difficulty going into cruise when they are below 40% for example, just a variety of little things like that, whereas the P26A have been fully consistent, getting me the most bowls and the most accurate readings reliably...

I’ll have to pick a few of those up once I retire my older batteries.
