Discontinued RBT Milaana 1, 2, 3

I never needed to modulate feather the button using the old Milaana (OG, beta, 1, 1V1, 1V2) but do with the 2 and the 3. both of those have different air intakes, and much more draw restriction than any of the earlier Milaana in my experience. Really each one is unique, so I say collect them all if you can!

I think the punchy VTC6 cells are a good hack for both of my 1.5 Milaana because they still roast evenly but extract fully without getting off the button. It's like the Milaana 3 is a two or three hit stem while the Milaana 2 is three or four hits and the early Milaana takes four or five even on a fully charged cell. I like the extended flavor and lack of any hotspot risk with the 1.5s, though it can be hard to get dark once the cell is a bit drained

Nice VTC6 are great, I'm finding the molicell P26A to be very effective for all single cell vapes as well! Cheap with extra amps...

By the way, the new one you got is not a 1.5, I'm not so sure your earlier walnut one is either? When / where did you get it, I feel like we have had this discussion before... So tricky to keep track, but there were very few 1.5 and they had squared off bottoms like the Mi2, along with some other things they share with the 2, but they have the top air intake like the previous Milaanas and rounded battery side.... Most did at least!

What bossman said

1.5: slow, 2: medium, 3: fast.

I'd add: 1.5 (or what ever number the one with the screened intake by the stem is): less consistent; 2: more consistent; 3 consistent. Each main iteration of Ryan's models was an improved version and that says something to me. I'd love to think that he'll keep his unregulated hat in the game to some extent at least. Even if it's selling off singles on IG.

I'd add: 1.5 (or what ever number the one with the screened intake by the stem is): less consistent; 2: more consistent; 3 consistent.

The ones with the air intake at the top are all Milaana1 basically (original OG run had crumpled steel mesh in the intake instead of the screen that followed soon after) and there is so much variance with all the different versions, V1 and V2 and 1.5, that I don't think it's even a fair to say less consistent unilaterally per se... However that is a big part of what makes the Mi2 and the Mi3 special, as more completed products in the unregulated space, with more consistency unit to unit... so if that is what you meant then I fully agree!

Yeah the original Milaana line have a more open airflow and require a slow draw, but some of them are still quite beastly and quick to heat up (my early 1V1 can attest to that) in fact with the exotics there were some tuned quick and some tuned slow... Oh man that old thread is such a time capsule now, of all the different production runs, I really wish I had one from each run now that I think of it... Damn where was I?

So the Mi2 and Mi3 are built more like the original prototypes that led to the Milaana with the air intake change, among various other changes of course, rolling upgrades hard to track. They kind of bring in everything learned from the previous iterations, nice that even if RBT is on the way out, they are still being made and sold!

Welp I guess they're not going to be sold for much longer!

Oh man I would love to own one of these works of art, I'm guessing there's not much hope in the UK other than second hand?
On a side note I think I need to make an Instagram account, that seems to be one of the places where you guys are getting all this cool artisanal stuff.

Yeah they were not available internationally on IG though, you will have to watch the classifieds here and entexchange on Reddit, been many posted there before, good luck!

Thank you pal!
Seems I got into vaporising just a little late in the game, will be keeping my eye open for sure, I just love the splinter so damn much.

That's gorgeous, I'd be scared to take it out of the house!
TY sir. While I know it's from China, it don't look or feel like it. It hits so hard. Combusted twice. But I got her tamed now. She knows now how I like it.

Guys, I can't tell you how much I love the MI3 and appreciate you and all the help in this and the old original thread. But I'm in need of a WPA badly. And while I'm probably going to get something simple or custom made, I'd like something like this to add to any stem. Anyone know this or any other WPA for the MI3 that is easily available?

That one should fit your mi stem too, no? Unless that is someone else's photo and not your own...?

Where to buy will depend where you are, a lot of shops sell those kind of silicone adapters, sneaky pete and puff it up and Delta3D makes a different style universal adapter that is my overall favorite just because they are awesome company...

However fortunately I have the official RBT WPA that is a male to male adapter, nicer to have it just be another glass stem, and these male to male adapters are actually cheap and easy to find many places, the tough part is getting the right size to fit the Milaana... Fortunately I have one that happens to fit very well, unfortunately I have no clue where I got it, so you might have to buy a bunch of different ones from a bunch of different places and test, no guarantee any of them would fit though....

I'm in the US. And yes that's somebody else's photo. Boundless Tera adapter is doing it's best to help. Looks like next month I may have to speak with Alison 😏

This Boundless WPA has saved me countless times when getting a new vape 😂

Cool so I'd check out PIU and SP, and Delta 3D, along with eBay for glass male to male adapters (see if you can find 19/22 or 18.8/22 or 18/22 for best odds of fitting)

@SquirrelMaster and @Shit Snacks TY so much for the great suggestions. Sadly while I looked and looked (I looked so hard that I found exl8r stems and official WPA in Canada) but nobody had anything including rubber adapters. But I forgot all about Delta 3D Studios. They have just what I was asking for and someone in the "reviews" said it worked for his Splinter. So I'm good for now.

First impressions are that it was easy at first to get the big clouds, harder to get the smaller ones. It doesn't help to be a thirsty bitch and I like my lung busters. But I think that I've got it now and can do 3 solid hits from a rimmed basket screen constantly with a fresh battery. Using VTC5D at the moment, but probably overkill. I prefer stem packing about 0.25g than using the rimmed screens. Now I can get 6 to 8 hits to share with friends or blast away on my own and do about 4 or 5 massive hits. Battery life isn't bad for a single 18650. I'm coming from months of heavy desktop use and without a tolerance break, I may have been a bit underwhelmed. But I found it no weaker than my brick and I already tested it outside and loved it. Flavor died off a bit earlier than expected, but I'm also not used to vaping such large loads in this many hits. It's also a long time since I've used anything but ultra fast extracting vapes. So I can see this truly becoming my daily to help keep my tolerance lower and just use my DC Elev8r for bedtime use and special occasions. I like that I can use it outdoors in the wind while fishing or just relaxing on the beach. If I had to give it a negative of any kind it's the lack of rimless bowl screens of old and the lack of availability of official exl8r stems and WPA. I'm lucky in that I got 1 large exl8r with the Splinter v2 that I got for my nephew's birthday. So I'm not complaining. But man, wouldn't it be nice to have those old screens again?

Welcome to the RBT family dude. Did you get the one with the brass screw or steel, or both? Ryan mentioned he prefers the steel screw, lower output....so I switched out mine from brass to steel and it now performs similar to my Mi2. Not as hot as the brass, but still massive clouds, better taste, and very limited hot spotting. Also, I grab these off amazon, 7 bucks for 15....https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L4HT1KM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_TS4EXPRJMJ7QXFHR480Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

And this is why I actually went with the 3 instead of a 2 for right now. I wanted a hot one to make sure that it will take care of my high tolerance while cutting back a bit. No I only got the brass screw. I think that the stainless one was only temporary. Maybe I should ask for one? But honestly, I'm very satisfied with it the way it is. Packed in the stem it probably behaves like the Milaana 2 and in the rimmed screen bowl it hits like I want it to for 1 or 2 hit clears without trying.

Just my 2 cents, the Mi2 is the best performer of the bunch
