I'm a fan of coffee the same way I enjoy oxygen and water.
I now know that I seriously need an Aeropress, thanks for the head's up!

For some reason medium roast fucks me up, gives me heartburn.. Always stick with a French press grind, dark roast.

The lighter coffee is roasted the more of the local flavor. Roasting coffee makes it taste like the roast not the coffee bean. Many times people who get heartburn from coffee it's because they are drinking an acidic variety of bean. I'm not saying you won't get heartburn but if you try a coffee that is less acidic or if you cold brew your coffee and then heat it up that will reduce the acid and get it so you can enjoy the variety coffee offers without the verps (vomit burps) also pay attention to that water temp. Water that is too hot can cause some harshness too.

My favorite coffee is Ethiopian Harrar even though many like the Ethiopian yirgacheffe better I like the sweet and nuttiness the Harrar provides.
If you have never had full spectrum tincture in a iced coffee I HIGHLY recommend it! HIGHLY! It is delicious! Like I might order that even if it didn't get me high because it's so good.

Awesome piece of gear, @NYC_Frank ! I have the OG Kinu M47, which I believe they're now calling the M47 Classic. It's definitely my favorite grinder; the thing is built like a tank!

Yeah ... thats the one I need badly ... I always used store bought coffee and had all kinds of tamping consistency issues. I have a lot of learning to do but looking forward to it ... thanks for the great snaps ...

Back in the early 1970s!, I was a sort of hippie living an artsy bohemian sort of life with other counter culturists out in Ptown, Cape Cod. We'd work our tails off during the then short summer season and then more than 50% of the workers in town would go on unemployment. Three or four of us would meet nearly every morning of the off-season and get ripped and then go to our favorite coffee shop for strong endless cups of java. After getting wired to the point of agitation on the dark brew, we'd then head outside to smoke a bone. I don't know if it was because we were in a seaside community with sailboats all around, but one of my dope/java buddies always called it "tacking". You'd get stoned and start to get sleepy, or lazy, or loungy, then drink some coffee to get the energy back up, then get agitated from too much coffee and need a hit or two to calm you down, etc. etc. and on and on. Like a sailboat going tacking left and right to get to its destination.

All these years later I still love strong dope and strong coffee, together, following one another in any order. Tacking through the day.

An undeniably great combination, coffee and tokes, even if only for the flavor combo, but...
Hard a-lee, we're comin' about!
