Vaponic Herbal Vaporizer

It’s no vapcap so the technique can’t be standardized. There’s no click.
The heating time is influenced by how much
cured is you weed (water content) how far you keep the flame from the vape etc. Heat, vape, heat some more. As far as I can remember when you hit the spot you get a few big hits with no need to heat for a bit. You may combust but you should try to heat a bit more imho. And of course rotate and move that flame. You should also look some YT videos for vaponic of vapbong, technique is the same. Iirc a video made by the inventor of Vapbong was pretty clear on how to properly operate.

Eh, well, so... I admit 😶
I am deeply ashamed I kinda forgot using my Vaponic(+) for quite a long while.
(maybe I got too many vapes, most of the time using my analogues: Vapman, Lotus, all of my Sticky Bricks).
Rediscovered my V+ due to this thread. Thnx for that.
So last night I tried, but didn't know anymore the Vaponic vaping technique. Searching through this thread was the solution (thnx again to the people of this thread who made this possible).
I did the 6-8 seconds heating time technique with one flame torch
and had five nice cycles of rips!:leaf::smug:
It's so obvious the Vaponic is an "it's all about the flavor" kinda vape (for me):
soft 'n smooth with such an open airflow, wow!:peace:
Very happy a lot I'm reunited with my V+!
It's rehabilitated in my herb vapes carousel now!!!

BUT what also shocked me was reading (solwe.com) Vaponic stopped its production for some time now (did I read it well?!). :uhoh::mad::disgust:
(still you can order the Vaponic while in stock, but no V+ anymore, thank goodness I have 2 of my beloved V+, cherry and walnut!)
And that's a MUCH bigger shame than I forgot - temporarily - using this great vape!

So cherish your Vaponic(+)!!!
🤘😎

The vaponic manual says not to move the lighter while heating and the guy is doing the same in the vaponic yt video.
However i tend to get better vapor when moving the flame around.
I don’t have the manual or the vape in my hands but I’m pretty sure there’s a pic on it with the vape on the hands of the user with double twisting arrows on the top of the vape. I’m pretty sure it means to rotate the vape, not at all to stand still with the flame on one point like you were implying.

Just some questions to see if i got it right:
-i move the lighter up and down through thst whole area upwards of the line. Shouldni do this or keep it at the same position?
-tight pack or light pack?
-how to get big clouds like in the vapcap? I remember it being possible somehow

- I don't know if there is a right way to do it, but I love the flame only over the tiny bowl itself. So not up to the red line, I stop at the screen.

- if you're looking for bigger clouds then definitely a tight pack. I use it only with little nugs (I use it for the smoothness and taste).

- I never got the big clouds like with a tight packed Vapcap, but as already mentioned it helps to heat it a bit longer. Yesterday I needed only one heating cycle to extract all the goodies and the clouds were pretty big! Beware of combustion though 😁

Glad you found it again! It is still a killer microdosing device. It performs also great on a water piece with a 10mm adapter.

I think it is sad they don't produce the + anymore. I hoped they would make an improved version of it (the + + haha), like a system with magnets, but that won't happen I'm afraid.

Yes that sad they didn't tried to release some nice iterations of the Vaponic, the XL (larger size and big bowl), the hybrid (including stainless steel parts and hybrid heat) and the digital using a electrical power source rather than a torch. Although they released a desktop version, the Lox Lux.

Hey, you're a rich man with 2V+s :D :) How did you manage (and where) to snag a V+ in walnut? And the other one is cherry? The only V+s I've ever got to see were all beech. I'd love to see your wood ;) :D Pics pretty please, asks the proud owner of 2V+s - but only beech ones. ;)

Much love everyone!

Hi Hi !

I had seen the info (here I think) that the Vaponic was endangered ...
it often triggers compulsive shopping at home ... but I did really well ... I got my hands on it on May 11 (I had found two stores that still distributed it) and I'm glad I didn't not to be missed !!! it looks like it's really over now ...

long live to the Vaponic!

Reading again on www.solwe.com I think you're right about the Vaponic is still in production, but not the V+ anymore. You can't order them and @Dutch-Mic already warned us in his post from February 2019
I could be wrong, but it seems that Solwe doesn't sell the Vaponic Plus anymore from their website. European webshops like Vaposhop and Verdampftnochmal still have them in stock. According to the Instagram page from the product manager of Vaposhop, there are fifty of them left and after that 'it won't be available for a long long time.' I recommend to buy the plus ASAP if you want one.

@vapen00b posting pictures & me is a very bad combo . And sorry, but I'm not a wood expert. I thought it was a cherry one, but it is indeed a beech one. The other V+ I own is a walnut one?
If you go to the homepage of www.vaponic.com, on top of their site you can change pictures. One of the pictures shows 7 (!!!) kinds of V+s!. I have the dark one.

Yesterday I did a Vaponic session with a triple flame torch (5-6 seconds heating time). Also very nice session, although @Vaponic Team recommends single flame lighters:
The strength of the flame is very relevant. We recommend single flame lighters with the flame set to medium strength for three reasons:

1) Single flame set at maximum strength or double/triple/quadruple flame speeds up the process a lot and makes a smooth temperature control much harder, specially for beginners but not only. Advanced users can regulate the heat pretty precisely and some even opt to go for a first inhalation below the vaporizing temperature of the active compounds but hot enough for the aromatic compounds which vaporize at lower temperatures. It's pure gastronomic pleasure to fill your mouth with flavour and it's much easier to achieve with single flame at medium (or even low) strength.
2) The heat spreads out on its own while you're rotating the Vaponic and pointing with the flame in the middle between the end of the tube and the red line, at the upper 30% of the filling chamber, below the inner filter. And as the Vaponic is based more on convection than on conduction, eventually the air stream makes sure to spread the heat evenly.
3) It should only be heated from the side and NEVER at the very end in order not to overheat the herbs at the very entrance of the filling chamber. The more flames, the closer you'll get to the end.

That said, if you prefer using it with multi-flame lighters then go for it. The end of the day it's all about enjoying the result. One of the nice things about the Vaponic is that it allows you to play around with it, refining your personal technique and being able to watch and see exactly what's happening inside at any given moment during the process.

@Dutch-Mic I read you use the single flame torch technique with first heat cycle 28-30 seconds, after that heat cycles for 15 seconds. When I did that in the past I got combustion :uhoh::(. So maybe I am too carefully now with heating times. How do you regulate that, e.g. how long/strong is your torch flame?

I hope that in the near future @Vaponic Team (mister Daniel Werner) can give us new info about the reproduction of the V+, PLEASE!
Or maybe a magnetic V++ 😏😃❗❕❗

Thanks for the pointers mate. After taking a look at them I am pretty sure they're all beech but stained, some dark, reddish etc. Of course, I'd like to take a closer look. If you get the chance to snap a pic of your dark one, that would be nice. But I understand, if it's not for you taking pics and posting them - all cool :)

True dat. The V+ went out of production quite a while ago. I was in talks with Daniel several times about this and that and tried to get info about the Loxlux also... sadly no good news for neither of them. The normal Vaponic is still being produced though.

I used a small flame, but maybe I was a bit too careful haha. I still heat it the first cycle for about 30 seconds and the other ones 10 - 12 seconds now. Most of the times two or three heating cycles are enough to get very brown abv.

I had two sessions with the Vaponic today. The taste and smoothness remain top notch. I'm wondering if it is worth to buy a Simrell Vortex while the Vaponic provides such smooth vapor!

It is also remarkable how evenly the load was extracted when I put a relatively big nug in it.

Every Vapcap fan should try to master this vape and see if it is a worthy addition to the line-up. I'm very glad with the Vaponic and wouldn't want to be without one.

You're right, and it was mostly you praising about the Vaponic consistently which triggered my VAS to get two of them :brow:. A Vaponic+ and a back up unit with the marker shaped inner tube. @ Vap Cap Thread: Believe this guy :lol:
What I like most is that you get really cool, smooth and tasty hits, almost no draw restriction. although the vapor is not super dense, i can get almost 4-5 nice visible hits with one heat cycle.

I totally agree! It may take a while to get the right technique, but the effort definitely pays off.

Hey dude, yesterday I filled the bowl completely with one big nug and then it needs less heating time indeed. I didn't combust, but everything was spent in one heating cycle. It was a very satisfying session haha.

Hi all !

I am a fan of Vaponic and I hope we found the ultimate combination with this heater created by @mistvaporizer !

I will try to find the "sweet spot" as quickly as possible ... whatever it costs 😂

Looking forward to receiving the prototype and looking forward to starting the experiment!

I come back to exchange here asap !!

I feel really privileged / lucky so thank you again @mistvaporizer !

see you all soon

I just did some tests and went to moving the flame (tripple torch) and light it untill the reflexion od the fire turnes yellow on the glass.
Still got no big clouds though

And holy shit i forgot about that reclaim. Omg it is so good to just vape the oil that gatheres in that thing. I did very few runs and already had enough oil for a session in there

Hi impolioid!

Have you tried to push the inner tube against the mouthpiece? This restricts the fresh air intake, and the vapour is mich more dense. It's similar to closing the carb hole in a vapcap. I do so and I get very nice clouds.

Bye!

I'd love to compare this induction heater to my loxlux

What?? You got a Loxlux? If you ever wanna part with it, please let me know. I’ve been looking for one everywhere for a long time.

This oneˋs NOT an induction heater btw. It’s a coil and conducting the heat to the glass.

@Touf2n1 Congrats and good luck!!! :)

Nice to see that thread is still alive!
Your Vaponic's heater gave me the idea to do one myself... I used 2 heating wires in parallel, that wire is coming from another dismantled vaporizer which isn't worth to mention, I don't know what metal it is but that's probably not stainless steel, wire is very strong, very hard to shape. Although I'm using lower wattage than you... I agree this is might take longer to get the vapor flowing but, if you keep it low, you will be amazed to see how much hits you can get out of a so tiny bowl!

I have a DIY e-nail for flowers vaping, heater consist in a ceramic part stucked in a 16mm barrel coil, the Vaponic fits perfectly the ceramic heater, I don't know why but it's even better for load conservation, I got a 10-12mn session (probably 30 hits!) using a nug of Gorilla Glue (one year old but still sticky despite my jar stays opened too much, others strains are dried but this one seems undriedable!). Ceramic heat seems to heat it more evenly and consistently.
I had the same feedback using my M with a conduction portable vape which fits the M in its ceramic bowl, got an impressive amount of hits rather than used with the torch or even with the induction heater (although mine is a old first model from Pipes).

MistVape is the guy! I like so much my Og unit... not only a collectable but a pretty damn good vape too!! And the Imp beta I have is still my micro-dosing favourite unit, sadly I had to let to go my beta Touch cause a guy who buyed me a vape (it was a Zeus Arc) without to inform himself, when he got it he realized it was conduction and asked for a refund, after talks and emails the only vaporizer he got interest in was the Touch... I hesitated but decided to let it to go since it didn't saw so much usage lately... but the guy still found to complain about, sometime there is break ballers guys, sorry, I derailed... totally off-topic... topic!
Happy vaping!

Hello Hello !

I wanted to come earlier to do a detailed report of my experience but I have been really overwhelmed these last days and it can last another two weeks ...

So I make a brief passage to share my experience!

This heater, designed and built by mistvape is quite simply and very sincerely brilliant !!!

Since I received it, I have had a lot of fun with it. It totally replaced my lighter ...

To date, and with my tests, I use the heater at 35w with a first heating cycle of 25 seconds, a second of 20 seconds and a last of 15 or 20 seconds. At each heating cycle, I preheat about 8 seconds to make the coil red, before inserting the Vaponic.

It also worked very well at 34w. At 40w, I burnt the material too many times.

The negative points of this heating are actually linked to the negative points of the Vaponic, namely the fact that there is no indicator similar to the "click" of the vapcap ... but in return, we benefit from a vapor path made entirely of glass ...

Really love it!
I received a prototype, but in my opinion the heating is already perfect as it is.

Depending on our preferences, it is possible to have a light AVB, or very dark ...
this heating therefore requires a time to get started ... which is linked to the nature of the Vaponic.
I took some pictures of AVB to share them with you, but frankly, it is possible to find these preferred settings by "choosing" from the whole range of possibilities.

Setting up an Articfox type fireware for the mod box can be a real bonus to facilitate the use of this heater, but I haven't used it yet.

Aesthetically, I find this heater, similar to "the beast", really beautiful.
And in terms of consumption, it's very reasonable. I do several sessions at 35w with an old VTC6.

In conclusion ... this heater is already brilliant as it is and if there are improvements to be made, they are really minimal.

I did not take the time to really look into the question but the height or the shape of the coil must be able to be perfected. I noticed during a few heating cycles that the highest part of my bowl was sometimes less heated (by less than a millimeter).
I will come back as soon as possible to complete this feedback.

Thanks again to mistvaporizer for giving me the opportunity to test this heater which has revolutionized my use of this super vaporizer.

I will come back as soon as possible to complete and refine my return! See you soon!

Or rather, I would have liked to share pictures with you but there seem to be technical problems from my phone ...

I will try again ...

I agree with @Touf2n1 the coil was a little low. I raised it about 2 mm and it is better now. It doesn’t leave a lightly roast but at the top of the nug
