I think your reply got sucked in to your quote.

I literally throw it on to my wood desk. Sometimes the disks can get caught on the crimp or something might get inside the cap and cause it to stick, and jarring it in that way may loosen it. I don't throw it very hard, I just want to jar the parts.

Don't want mine rattling. Click gives me away at the damnedest moment already. They're not particularly dirty but they behave on the rattle front.

@stark1 - the A'20 and the VC are getting along famously. Not worried about the wiring. This delivers the power where it needs to go. I got 11.75V during firing. That's excellent! Join the A'20 thread and post up some links. I'd like to read these obscure accounts.

Mesh in ma M.

I like it, it's dome/convex shaped, seems a tad more free flowing but haven't run it enough yet to form a tangible opinion.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
A punch sounds like a good idea! I used scissors and cut out a slightly larger sized shape than the CCD.

Do it @stark1 Then let us know what you think. :spliff:

What kind of mesh material are you using @TheThriftDrifter ? Looks thicker than what you normally see with pipe screens. It actually looks like the mesh that covers the heater on my e-nano.

I bought a DDave water wand a while back, tried it, and found it way too restrictive for me to use. I wrote it off as having wasted my money and stuck it in my junk box.

Then it dawned on me the other day to try drilling a carb hole. If the glass broke, so be it, I wasn’t using it anyway.

So, after watching a YouTube video or two, I fired up the dremel tool with one of those little diamond-tipped grinding bits from the accessory kit. Ten minutes later and voila! I now had a carb hole. The hole is smaller on the inside. It works great - now I have another toy to play with. :D

I wonder if you can "flame polish" the hole to melt and smooth its edges ... to minimize the risk of future stress cracks. I don't know what sort of heat would be needed ... maybe MAPP gas torch ... and I don't know if the glass would become more brittle without proper annealing/controlled gradual cooling afterwards ... maybe torch it then place it in an oven ... ????? ANYWAY ... it looks cool and Mission Accomplished!

Nice job.

What speed did you Set the Dremel?

Did you drill it dry, or did you use water as a lubricant.

Just combusted for the 1st time in the 20 M. I've never packed it completely full, so I jam packed as much as I could. 1st hit was real nice, 2nd hit heating 1 sec past the click & 2 secs into the draw, combustion. It wasn't yellowish or anything (the AVB def shows it being combusted), but visually I knew the VC (as good as it is) can't pump out that much vapor. Stoped the draw, inhaled what was left in the j-hook, and after hackin' for 15 secs, I am quite high. Man, combusting in a vape tastes so much shitier and feels so much harsher than actual combustion. To me at least.

Time to call in that pizza.

4 delivery of course. High as shit!

You have a nice collection @Vape Master - what beats the VapCap in any category among your collection for flower?
Dynavap makes brilliant, amazing, and fun vapes. I once a month am interested in Butane Vaping. Its durable, classy, vape quality is amazing. \
The reason I use it monthly is that it's too much of a production, to fill torch, put in flower. Lighting and being careful to not combust or brand myself!

The best Vaporizer I own, I would say GH io Ti - Faster..... easier to use...The vape quality is much cleaner and easy on the throat on the GH. Can multi-task, Butane vapes require 2 hands?

When I feel like smoking a J I go for the dyna vap. If I want to low dose, I also like the Dynavap. Dynavap has super customer service.

Pax is up there as well as the Crafty Plus.

I bought the mesh years ago from a metal supplier, I walked in and bought 30cms off a one meter wide roll. The dude that sold it to me looked at me pretty funny.
It was back in the days before pre cut were common in the local head shops.
It's stainless steel and I think it is a bit thicker than what you commonly get, but still ok to cut with scissors. Needless to say I wont have to buy mesh for the rest of my days. ✂
