What is the dynavap bubbler? Pics? Link?
It is call the baby bong v2, look far of the filtration of the honey bubbler that I got but I need something portable enough.
Mine's still a virgin, NIB ... I didn't even look at it. If I handle it too much, I'll get sad and frustrated (green balls????). I can't use it until ... well, I don't know when (sniffle, sob, sigh! ... pending legalization on-hold). BUT, I actually enjoy cleaning them anyway. Even if it came described as "ready to use" (which it should!), I would still break it down and do a thorough inspection/cleaning. I'm glad yours came as it did.
Actually, I hadn't read about this technique of preheating an empty bowl first before your post - so thanks, even if it is old-hat for some. I saw the Dynavap video where they discussed doing a preheat by not toking on the first heating-cooling cycle and waiting for the 2nd go around before hitting it ... but that first heat-up was with a pre-loaded bowl ... and, to me, I suspected that doing so might let some valuable vapor escape and be wasted ... which I did not fancy. You have presented a viable alternative ... I am patient but I can see some folks bitching about the extra time involved ... the extra "effort" ... poor, lazy, entitled, spoiled bastards!Preheating VC tips, likely has been discussed but worth mentioning.. gets nice tastey cloudy hits from the off. I like to heat the VC and let it naturally click too cool, reheat to click and then throw it straight on the magnet, get that cap off (nail on the cap shovel and pull the stem.) Having flower already ground, load the tip, cap on, reheat and toke away..
