It IS a curious matter. On the one hand, I can see George's "It ain't about the Benjamins" attitude, so he'll let others fuel the fire of the IH craze. Maybe be has a broader plan, though ... one where he develops an IH-specifc DV, with a radically different design (say, a flat shallow bowl instead of a deep-dish one ... more "pipe-like" than "cigarette-like") and then designs a unique IH, say, with narrow I.D. oval coils instead of round coils (I have no idea if such parameters would even be feasible?), that would be matched to the new bowl design. I'm just making stuff up in my head,of course ... but who knows what goes on in HIS head!? He could be watching all the progress on the "small, portable, temperature-monitored", adjustable" designs for IHs that are being discussed and evolving and waiting to design a real kick-ass "Baby Heater" some day ... with wide adjust-ability so he can call it ... not the Flux, nor Flix, but ...the " Flex" (flexible behavior) ... yes, you heard it here first! " Mark my words!"

In addition to IHs, there's glass stems, wood stems, cases, magnet stands, etc ... endless accessories that Dynavap could be profiting from ... but they prefer to let other companies take that market share. It's kinda' nice to see them stick with one thing and concentrate on maintaining quality (and occasional design upgrades) instead of losing focus and becoming overly diversified with un-managed growth. The more "goodies" that others make for Dynavaps, the more Dynavaps people will need to go with them ... so he still wins in the end. Is that his strategy, or does he just like to share and not be greedy? Maybe both.

I have the Apollo 2, works brilliantly.
When watching the YouTube videos I came across the one with George and the guy from Apollo.
George says, and I felt a bit bad for the other guy at first, that if you have an idea, take it to him - that is what Dynatec is for.
Makes sense though.

Ha! Much bigger collections than mine. It will never be complete until I have a Captain Picard’s flute vapcap!

I currently have an OG, 20M, Omnivap XL ti, and Simrell. I think I have two more c-vaps left to give away.

I updated the vapes section on my bio. I don’t know how to see it with others.

You might want to update your signature so people can see at the bottom of your post your vapes. Your collection still outweighs mine, just a 19 m and titanium tip on a wpa. I'm to chicken shit to get a omni, I know as soon as I do they'll release a updated version and a simrell isn't cheap either.

Bud gave me my Omnivap. What an amazing gift!!! I don’t blame you for waiting for an update. It’s been a while. I wonder if they will ever bring back the carbon fiber stems? One thing that was a big improvement for my Omnivap was swapping the stem with the 20M body. Huge airflow improvement!

I think I did my sig right now

I remember you being very impressed with your Frankenstein-omni , as impressed as with your low temp cap? Have you tried replacing the ccd with cheap convenience store pipe screens cut to size? Air flow is a good bit better and the bowl finishes faster. Picked up that tip from Labpong

I love my low temp cap! I don’t know how the captive version is. I’ll try that out with the screens!

Hopefully my ih will be here soon. It’s been a while. You have everything you need!
Omg you will love ❤️ your IH, it's a total game changer and you relationship with your Dynavap will never be the same and a torch will feel like going back to dial up after having high speed internet. I like to think I have my bases covered, just want the omni because I'm a fanboy and vas. One last thing about the pipe screen, don't be surprised when your avb isn't as dark.

Thanks for the reminder. I'm going to cut a couple screens down and try this.

Edit to add - here's my current DV collection.

Am I wrong for wanting a spinning mouthpiece instead of an OMNI condenser assembly? I use my M with the air port completely open all the time, and I only want a titanium piece just to cool down faster. I'm upgrading soon and I'm deciding between two last options.

I could buy a Ti tip, XL Ti condenser, spinning mouthpiece, Omni stem, and I already have an extra cap
Or I could get a Ti tip, XL Omni condenser assembly, and I use an old M18 stem I have.

I know the omni condenser is most of the omni experience but this way I get a spinning mouthpiece, and a more aesthetic stem made of Ti for about the same price. I'm scared the omni condenser assembly will be pointless to me because I'm already so used to completely open air ports.

Hey all, good to be back. Glad to see so many familiar names and happy to see some new (to me) names.

Plus 1 for the low temp cap. Love it. I think it's better for flavor, weed conservation, and longer sessions.

RE Omni - never have used one. Am I to understand that the primary benefit is the ability to use the device without covering the airhole while having the airflow be partially restricted?

RE IHs. I have the Apollo 2 Dynatec version. I love it. Zero problems. However, I'm a gadget guy and a fiddler. I enjoy the ritual and routine of single flame action and playing with flame locations. I actually prefer a single flame to IH for overall enjoyment of Dynavaping.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
Is there a way to tell the difference between an OG (4th gen) 7 fin tip and one from the re-issue that DV did for a short time? I have one that was gifted to me and I was just curious.

BTW, a shout out to all the DV collections that were recently posted. Some fine equipment there my friends.
