Greetings my fellow PHVBs [PotHeadVape Bros]

Here's my fave now.
[Someone has likely already done this?]

I hadn't gotten around to ordering an IH, then wondered if my M would fit in my rarely used FM-5.
The DV cap is too wide for the little oven of course, but you don't need a 'click' anyway. :-)

Just heat up your DV sans cap.
You can control the heat by pulling out or sliding back in [that's what she said]. The tip is a good fit.

I use the lower temp setting [385 degrees F?] and it only takes 20 or 30 seconds to heat up.

I usually brown down the herb in a session or two. I haven't burned anything at all [temp inside the tip may be lower than 385 anyway?] The battery in these things lasts quite a while.

A portable and inexpensive power supply. :-)

Even with the cap off, the tip doesn’t quite penetrate into the FM (that’s what I said).:)

However, if you use a 9mm
Grav Taster, it works like a wood scents (mitout no wood). Like a charm.

But which, unfortunately takes my M out of the equation.

I think mine in the pic is a 9mm Grav [isn't it?].
The tip goes all the way into the FM to almost past the last knuckle [I mean 'cooling ring'].
About an inch+.

I slipped that ballpoint pen sleeve over the Grav as a vong condom [I mean gasket] so I can use a lil water pipe

Anyways, sure makes vapor EZ.
It's mellow too. I don't turn it off until the end.
I keep the tip in & just continue w/ draws till the vapor finally fades out.

[I think my Mom wouldn't like all these innuendos.] :D

@GtrBob, the tip will fit in a 12mm Grav Taster (9mm not, tip itself being 8mm).

Your tip may be slightly smaller, as none of mine inserts all the way. :\ Strange, as
I tried with an FM Mini a few years ago, and it seemed to fit?

Will dig it up and try again (after my housemate goes to work).

It’s also possible my FM is a different model than yours.

BTW, lets keep our moms out of this, shall we.

M

Tip does not go into the heater cylinder (which is smaller), unlike yours

Congrats, Bobby! The mini worked, the Mini worked, but I had other toys. Plus, I seem to be easily
Stoner distracted. LOL

I knew I'd break it eventually but I never saw this coming. Good thing I bought a backup. But now I don't have a backup. Incoming message, @RogueGuy!

And now my backup is broken, same as the first. I'm guessing that the inner glass tube gets stressed when it gets knocked over.

Oh well. Tracking says my new stems should be here in a couple days. Back to the M's and the Rattle Can. It's good to have options.

@Easywider agreed on the not wanting to use a whip. Hopefully they will develop an all glass piece.

@thejackalsmark thats some next level tinkering!!!!

@GtrBob thats a cool hack I will have to see if I can do that with my CFX.

@Moses Baca NO!!! Dont worry, I have a few more stashed for you.

@someTooL uh oh! The collection is starting. Resist taking out a home equity loan to support your Dynavap habit!!

Condolences to the dearly departed, Moses.

:mmmm:Now that you have experienced their weak point, please
Do not drop one on a surface which will produce a vibration frequency of 550 Hz. Or sing at that frequency.

You could also consider moving on, and get one of the newer versions offered. :2c::spliff:

That OG RWW stem is still my favorite, though the 2mmXL is pretty awesome too.

Broke out the EYCE silicone bubbler to use with the OG yesterday. That thing is seriously underrated. Nice smooth hits, carb, no chance of breakage. (Use without the glass bowl, vapcap sits right into the silicone downstem.

Nice surprise today. I had been checking Lucid Customs website once in a while to see if any Apollo's came in stock. Early Friday morning there were two so I ordered one thinking I would have let the VC heat 3 or 4 seconds past the click to get the density I like with glass. Better late than never on the IH thing.

So what do I receive today? An Apollo V2.

First impressions with one session: Don't go very far past the click. 1 second or so past the click = milky glass hits. Performance is nothing like I watched in video reviews of the V1. The ABV was consistent. No overly dark/light spots.

Very impressed! I have the same problem with coffee and weed which is only once a day on both. What a fucking curse.

We stand them up on a Dynastash or the Flux Deluxe, occasionally they get knocked over. The thin inner glass tube is in the mouthpiece end and it whacks onto the countertop. That's my guess anyway.

Tradesman and another backup OG are on the way. Glass has become my preferred stem, I'm already thinking about adding more. The Anelli design is interesting but do the rings make it more tip heavy? It'd be nice if they had a shape that wasn't round to keep them from rolling away.

I have a very small glass recycler (MiniMe) with a 14mm male joint. I'd like to get some kind of adapter or something that lets me use my Dyna with this piece, but I'm having trouble finding anything that doesn't add too much height. Too much height would put the tip in my face, and I don't want to burn my eyeball. Any advice?

Honestly the perfect thing would be a 'cap' that fit perfectly over a 14mm male with an 8mm hole in the top for my tip / cap, but obviously I'm not finding anything like that.

I have liked my TRWW digger so much, I asked @RogueGuy to send me another. He sent two of the new versions. My new fav is the one at the bottom... I like the ergo of these tools bcause of their flatness. They take up little room, and the flat handle helps me akways know the orientation of the business end. The mag lets me stick it on my metal stash box....I notice that @stark1 also uses these tools...great minds!:)

@phattpiggie has made some very short Vapcap stems. If you contact him, I'll bet that he could fashion one to fit your male connection.
