R2-D2 I was told from haze it shouldn't affect vapor production my square has new seal I see it glow between the two halves still get good vapor
Thanks, that's super helpful. Are you ever getting combustion? Do you notice the flat area around the heater, like in the photo above?

Hi all,

I preordered in the "second wave" and I was hoping to see more formal reviews. However, a lot of what I've been reading on here seems that this thing is pretty finicky, a lot of units were faulty. It's not instilling the greatest sense of confidence in me, so I'm considering canceling.

From those who have one now, to someone who is buying their first vape: would you return this thing and get something like a Mighty/Crafty/something else? Or does it seem promising? I'm also worried about longevity and this thing lasting a while.
My personal recommendation for a first vape is the Haze Dual V3. It’s extremely reliable, safe, and easy to use. I think the Square would be a harder place to start.

Just that dude
Does any one else feel like it's very restrictive? I find about 10 seconds in I need to open my mouth a little so I don't feel like I'm suffocating. This is with just a pinch of material. My February unit isn't like this, but it wasn't as sealed.

Got my square back today and I believe it was a capacitor? Super rare issue just random. Not sure what else was done if anything but I’m ready to give it a go.i was getting great vapor beforehand.hopefully I still do.

After getting a square back from HAZE has anyone still combusted after?
I had it combust once, so far. It was a nearly used up load I’d been vaping at 390. I stirred it once to see if anything was left. When I hit it again, still at 390, I got harsh smoke instead of vapor. Looking at the ABV afterwards, there were a couple small blackened parts, and a burnt smell.

It was unexpected. Perhaps stirring isn’t such a great idea.

Will stainless steel pods be shipped with the new batch of pre orders? If not, are they coming at an extra cost to consumers?

They just got my Haze back and they confirmed I had the seal issue, which is really good to know cause it explains any inconsistencies. Can't wait to get it back and try it again!

Kudos on the SS pods, and eagerly awaiting the micropods!

I have twice, but I’m going to call it user error. Both times was around 395 but also both times were very long draws, around 20 seconds. Since shortening my draws I haven’t combusted since.

Stainless steel pod samples with the latest design improvements just showed up. They will be tested and if all good, we are going to production with these. I will update you all on progress. The next in line is the micro dose pod concept.

Any chance @Haze Vaporizers will be rewarding us early adopters with a free 4 pack of stainless steel bowls for our further beta testing?

Have you thought of, or did you try, perforated stainless lids for concentrate instead of the silicone? Seems like it might leak less.

I think mine arrived at Haze today.
