Question time.I'd like to know how the Cap was manufactured to click at just the perfect times to heat up/cool down just enough to give vapor but prevent combustion. Anybody know?
Take a look at this. Once you've got a good target temp in mind I think it's just a matter of choosing the right combo of metal and thickness. If a frog approves those choices then you're good to go (pretty sure this part is not optional, @Squiby).

Bi-metal technology has been around for a long time and is used in everyday products, like circuit breakers in electrical panels.
I'll look for a good diagram to show how it works, it's easy with visuals.

I have a cocobolo body that I can not fit any tips on to.
It takes all my strength and then it just wants pop back out, already damaged one set of orings.
I have gotten it once or twice with oil and lots of frustration. I'm actually surprised I have not broken the body yet. Tried two ther tips as well.
Anybody experienced this? I even attempted to file down the inside edge a tiny bit. I know the wood bodies fit tight but mine is just ridiculous
Every other model I have is so much easier ( omni, carbon woody, M,)

I mostly experienced the opposite, being the tip too loose inside the stem/body.

Im pretty disappointed to be honest. While i understand their vaporizers are already on the cheaper side of things. I still don't feel $57 is justifiable for the M, when on June 30th they put them on sale for like $20.
I feel they could've at least told me about any possible black friday/cyber monday sale.
Might be a few months away, but i have other vapes to get me thru until then

@MileHighHuman - The $20 sale was a one off thank you for existing Dynavap account holders I believe so you wouldn't have got one for that price unless you had already purchased previously. But why should Dynavap or any retailer for that matter have to tell you months in advance of a sale? Thats not how business works. If you bought an M and are disappointed with it put it in the classifieds or gift to a friend.i just asked the other day and this is the response i got..

Why would they publicly release information about an up coming sale that is months down the road? That's not good for business if they have people waiting for a month or two to snipe a deal that they know is coming.i just asked the other day and this is the response i got..

The $20 offer was a one time deal for existing customers that won't happen again, which Dynavap explained THOROUGHLY when they offered it. The 316L that they use to make it isn't cheap and the CNC machines they use aren't cheap either.
FWIW, I feel like the Ti tipped pieces are even better value for money than the M. The thermal properties, Adjust-a-bowl grooves, and the looks are worth the cost. That said, all vapcaps have the value of an indefinite lifespan and will be functioning long after most Li-ion powered vapes have died or require new batteries.

Totally agree with @Smokey McVape and @Winegums. @MileHighHuman, just be patient, look into when they've historically held sales, and plan accordingly. Sucks to miss out on a great deal, but it happens.

Ya know, its a funny thing. I went in my local Tesla dealer the other day and said, "I really like your cars, but I think they are over priced and you should sell me one for 40% off. After all, you guys are just taking advantage of people who want to use electricity to drive their cars instead of polluting with gasoline, and I think you should sell me a car for less...because. Oh, and if you are planning to have a sale in the future it would only be right for you to tell everyone (especially me) long in advance so I can make sure YOU make less profit and I can wait to buy my car until I can ring the last buck outta you.
