Right, but i switched the heater switch off and just let it cool naturally and when I could hold the enail side in my hand comfortably it was reading mid 100's on the unit. Something's def. off.

Not sure if doing something wrong or not. I get acceptable clouds at 700 when a decent amount is loaded, but kinda wispy for microloads. Gets slightly better with lollicap but still nothing like what I'm seeing in some people's videos. Cranking up to 800 kinda fixes that but seems like I shouldn't need to go that high. I'm not drawing that fast either, and concentrates seem to work beautifully.

Tried tightening the coil a bit too and doesn't seem to make a difference. It fits pretty snugly. (some resistance to pull it on or off)

Yessir Done and did. =) They sent me a handy little graphic that would be awesome if they all came with it! Seems i'm just impatient and not giving it enough heat-soak time initially. All is well now. =) Thanks!

I fashioned up a little bowl that's like the one in the video but just crudely formed. I'm going to order some baskets soon, myself. NV should look into offering some similar, that's for sure. I've got a nug of some special stuff a coworker gave me and I got a nice fat cloud off .02. =)

I don't know about anyone one else here but I'd prefer a full insert. Not a washer.

Thoughts: because will not dabbed errl run under and to the edges of said washer. I think Yes. Unless somehow melting and gravity have changed.

So a person would still be dabbing off of titanium and whatever compound the washer was too, simultaneously. Versus a complete self contained insert like the current versions for the other FP models.

I mean the point here for everyone in the first place is wanting the purest experince, am I right?! That's not what you'll be getting with the washers. But what do I really know.

Hopefully no feathers were ruffled in the making of this post. I come in peace and friendship.

Hello gentlemen I am pretty sure I want to try this vaporizer as i have been told it excels in microdosing. The enail matter has been solved for me and I think the Showerhead is the best for herbs but I dont know which accesories I need to get the best performance. Maybe the lollicap carb cap, a coil cover or both? Is there anything i should consider? I need to figure out the money I need. Is there a discount code or is it cheaper in any other site?? I am from europe so if an european shop had it would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!!

twaxvapor = 10% off code

Lollicap seems like it'd be necessary for fully extracting small loads, and coil cover seems to make the actual temp of the coil closer to what the enail readout is.

Showerhead is optimized for herbs, so that's what I would go for if you intend to mostly use the FP for herbs.

Looks like mine is slated to arrive tomorrow, so take everything I just said with a grain of salt... but I'll certainly be back to report some, after I get some testing in. :science:

Thanks for the reply. I will stay focused on this thread tomorrow for your impressions. I would like to know how it compares to your vapcap and your underdog because i am most concerned about efficiency cause i like to get the most out of my herbs and leave it blackish

I'm with you on a full insert. I am unsure if the design would have your concentrate touch the titanium but i know many into concentrate use only would not like that if it did. Including myself .

@invertedisdead i don't think the company should stray away from the original purpose which was for dual use of flower and concentrate. Than it would not be the twax. I already think the designs out do both so well that a dedicated flower only with built in carb cap would change the name and twax wouldn't be its purpose anymore.

Down to my last 2 grams here. Wonder how long this will stretch it out.

One little crumble at a time.

Holy shit i've never felt so high off of so little. Me and the wife just had 3 of these. between the 2 of us. Probably would have been good after the 2nd tbh I still got shit to do this morning =) That's really just enough to cover the bottomof the little basket I made.

Your problem most likely is with your Enail or Coil , as the Fp is pretty dumb proof . The only problem id see happening is if someone bought a 16mm head/nut and tried to put a 20mm coil on it which i do not think is your case at all. Resistance like you stated is what you want so you are perfect in that department. Also take into account that different strains vape differently , dryness , quality all play a factor. Most likely though it is the Enail or Coil , Coils can go bad and produce poor results or just not work at all , i have had this happen 1st hand , 2nd enails have many settings and is easy for one to come not tuned properly or even possibly to hit the wrong buttons and throw off settings. So 1st step , check with the manufacture of your enail the proper settings and test another coil as well. You'd be perfect with the NewVape Enail setup as the fitment is spot on but i understand many already own there own enail to begin with and want to stick with what they have to save some money. 800F is pretty high so you are correct in that you should not be having to go that high , i sometimes use that temp to clean my nail.

Sounds like what I was experiencing. Set it to 800, wait 10 minutes and then adjust down to what you want to took care of it for me. That nail assembly needs a few minutes for a good heat soak.

Also get a screen and bend it like in my picture a few posts up in the thread. Works like a charm then.

I'll try that, but don't get why that would fix it unless it's being used while the Ti is still hotter than the coil. Setting it to 700 and waiting 10+ mins didn't seem to fix it, maybe this will.

Thanks.

I wonder if that's it. I'd like to try with another enail but don't have any handy and my friends don't have any. If the NV one shows up in classifieds in Canada I'd probably be tempted. Or maybe I'll have to try to meet up with some fellow Ontarian FCers to try it out on theirs.

Dammit, missed the postie. I think I have a rather lovely package from NewVape waiting for me. Still waiting on my new controller and 20mm coil anyway but still, exciting!

My hands and eyes have been exploring these new items with wonder and even more so delight.

When I first opened the package it was love at first site. NewVapes Ti just compelled me to hold and feel the nice and smooth metal. It's all very solid stuff and very refined too!

I've worked with many metals off and on in different applications and I'm really impressed. I noticed that the metal and machining was very consistent.

I'm a stickler on threading too. For hours as I sat, I just ran my fingers over the metal and threads. The cut on all threading was great and free from deviations and burrs.

It put me at ease in knowing that they'll hold up for many years to come. Even better without any fear of failure or problems down the road. Just take a look for yourselves.

I was even more impressed and memorized by the hints left behind on the worked metal pieces.

The lingering kisses of various tooling marks letting me know that much love and care were taken. Just holding the parts at the right angles in the light and you will see them jump at you. I can imagine the metal being milled and cut right now in my mind...oh sweetness!

I looked for and could not find one place where anything was rushed or unfinished. There are no hard edges and all of the cuts, holes and curves are very uniform.

I also enjoyed the fact that the metal was virtually free of any machine oils and clean. So no hard scrubbing is needed. Very cool. Just make sure to give it all a once over with iso for good measure though.

The Sic insert was the only thing that really dirtied up the q-tips and that's not NV's own product so go figure. ;) Below is the wrap around 20mm with the Sic attached. Isn't she pretty!

Fitment overall is pretty complete too.

The new Showerhead design is massive! Just look at that top trough, it'll hold huge globs. All of those air inlets are just ready for you to throw huge draws at it while it roasts the flower perfectly and with ease.

Pictured below from left to right are NewVapes D-nail wrap around, Showerhead and lastly the standard wrap around. This product is so versatile and is very easy to work with. The parts are straight forward really.

If possible in the future I'd like to see NewVape offer
the top dish retaining nut for sale individually. That and some more of the beautiful USA and NV branding on some of the metal pieces besides just on the original coil retaining nut.

Thank you for reading and may you too enjoy the NewVape experince.

Do you have a way to measure the temp at the nail?
https://www.newvape.com/pub/media/s...tachment/file/f/l/flower_pot_instructions.pdf

They sent me that and followed it and haven't had a problem since. Though I might add I did what I believe to be a reset on my box, 'autotune' or whatever they call it, by setting it to 400 and holding the sideways arrow about 10 seconds. I did that first then set it to 800 and let the coil get good and red for a while. I may get a thermocoupler soon to do further more detailed testing, but the center post measured mid 500s and the SiC dish mesured a little over 530 with my IR gun. They specified 525f is normal, I do believe.

And then adjust from there the temperature you want.

Your coil was glowing red at 800? That doesnt sound right to me?
