I can hardly stand it.

Someone confirm/correct me on this . . . I have a faint memory that the beta units will be retained by the Fanatics after completion of testing. Or is this my imagination being over-active?
Over active, there was talk about getting to POSSIBLY keep SOME of the beta items. I have a feeling since they will be shipping you another shortly after you'll be asked to turn in the beta unit.

Sorry to make you Rage Post RB420. But when I searched for elbs for evo I was brought to 10 + pages of posts, how to clean elbs(which was covered way back when Clouds were 1st launched, quick go cry about people STILL asking how to clean FUCKING elbs), what dimensions of elbs, will the evo come with elbs, snickers and elbs(WTF? is that about). Please YOU go dig thru that and get back to me.
Also if it's so easy to find or such a well known thing, you took 2 posts to bitch about it, rather than give a effing answer. That's really particpating in the spirit of the forum. If you don't want to help with my valid question, fine, but I didn't ask you.
Shut it and move on.
Let someone with knowledge, share it, since it :disgust: you to do it.

This is what I recall as well. It is the intulectual property of Vapexhale, and whether or not you get to keep it is entirely at their discretion.

I would imagine in this case, it would be considered a release candidate, if no bugs are found, you keep it. If something is really wrong, they will ask you to ship it back.

ok so i apologize for not reading the entire 717 page novel that is this thread, but one question ive never really been able to find an answer to is, is there something about a hydratubes straight up and down design that makes them better than a regular bong/bubbler?

and with the evo the main upgrades are the heating element, detachable cord, and a non metal material? or is there something bigger im missing, i do have a cloud, wondering if its worth doing the $250 upgrade. ive got chef hands so that fact that it gets hot does not bother me at all

Functionally no. Aesthetically yes. Filtration is the same. It's just a lot easier to use the HT with the Cloud for us lazy fucks. I'll break out the devastator once in a while for some monster rips, but I usually just use a hydratube for convenience sake.

It keeps it more like hitting a traditional large waterpipe.
There is supposed to be a great increase in performance, and fixability.
I don't think you can still do a $250 upgrade though. Well past the kickstarter date.

one lazyfuck right here with a lil question: how about HT vs the CloudBuddy with say, a dewaar jointed bubbler, in terms of laze factor?

Even with a cloudbuddy, you are still inverting the cloud on the bubbler.
(silly issues: twerking the cord daily, lining up the cloud straight into the joint, etc)

With the hydratube, your cloud can remain safely motionless
Like an obelisk!

Plus, I don't know about the rest of you...but I absolutely love how easy it is to just lift & clear the HT.

Like an obelisk! I like that. Somehow very helpful too?! p.s go with the straight HT to enhance the obelisk quality.

Guess you're right. Easier to just lift off the HT. Especially with the smaller Swagger HT's and whatnot.
I'd certainly love to find out. :2c:

I wouldn't say lifting the HT is easier than lifting the cloudbuddy stopper. It's just strangely satisfying!

One last thing to keep in mind with my 2 cents...
My OG cloud both gets searing hot to touch, after running a while, annd has no warranty.
So it makes extra sense for me not to want to disturb the unit, or touch it!

If the EVO is easy to hold,
lighter weight,
with a longer warranty,
and easier to repair things like a tweaked cord or broken glass...

Then I do see it being more accessible than the OG cloud when it comes to inverting on your glassware.

October is nearing and I know that everyone has been waiting on an update regarding our release date....
...we’d like some data points from our user base before going into full production.

All Fanatic level Customers will receive their beta units shipping on October 15.

looking back at the indiegogo updates i was getting during the campaign the question was asked what are the benefits of being a beta tester and if tjety would be getting an evo to test early. answer was no, beta testerer would have accessories, and upcoming projects to test, anything neew that meeded feedback. said the evo has been built from the ground up and that they had been testing internals etc. as theywentvalong. so this leavea me a little confused. i think all campaign contributersshould be sent out at once. and im getting mine shipped tje 15th. so o really hope this changes for evetone else. we need a mass cloud release at the same time for the campaign. seems a fair way to do it, wven if us fanatics have to wait an extra week or two. seems the fair unselfish thing to do. were trying to bring good vibes here not alienate people as i think this will do. options need to be rethinked

It's simple, in the end they needed more beta testing and the beta testers are going to made it so we non beta tester can have a perfect product when we receive it in our hands.

In my book this is a win for all, good job VXL :clap:

Proper beta testing cannot be completed in a couple of weeks, simply because that leaves no time to correct any problems. Call it what they will, this is actually what I would call user acceptance testing. VXL said that they have been testing throughout the development cycle, so we will see how effective that was. I view this "beta test" as a bone thrown to the Fanatic level of supporters, and why not?
