I got a video using my beta vxc in my car. If I remember it takes easily 25mins to heat for ome reason. But if you take a preheated vxc from inside to the car, it'll help.

Enthusiasm here too. But I don't want any voltage converter to use with my Cloud. It is already so small and simple. Also hearing that it can be fried out if powered through shitty power source turn me off to this solution. So any news about EU version yet? Must be very busy with the limited release, but will they be in development at public release?

I feel like every single time there is an update I panic.

So I pre-ordered in August of 2010 and put myself down for a sovereignty tube. Correct me if I am wrong, but if we now switch to chronological order (and I still haven't gotten an invite) is there a possibility I won't get the tube I initially wanted?

At this point I really just want my hands on the cloud, but I was REALLY looking forward to the Sovereignty piece. Can someone please answer this for me?

Just to clarify, it wasn't a "shitty power source" that caused the Cloud to burn out. It was the fact that the Cloud was already plugged in and turned on when the car engine was started. That surge of energy blew it out, as it would many devices.

If properly used, an inverter won't have any negative effect on the Cloud. And for someone like me (with a serious medical condition who needs the highest quality/quantity vapor on the go because sadly that's the only thing that allows me to be on the go) being able to use the Cloud in a car or wherever I am is very important. With my previous vapes, such as the Volcano, I was able to medicate anywhere. I'd prefer not to have to have one high end vape for at home use and another equally high end vape for car use. It's a lot of money I can't afford.

I'm going to try getting a pure sine wave inverter and maybe that will do the trick. If not, any other tips out there are really appreciated! I love the Cloud to death and want anything but to have to give it up for an equally expensive, but lesser quality vape that can work in a car :(.

My understanding is that the Sovereignty piece is not and will not be available; that relationship was discontinued. So what is/will be available (pending any new announcements) is the HydraCirc, the Vertigo, and the SGW. At this moment, the SGW is not available. When your number comes up, you can either order from what is available at that time or be put in a queue to wait for an HT that is not available until later.

The HydraTubes with the Sovereignty perc have all been sold and what is left are the VG HydraTree, HydraCircs, and ShowerDomes. This has been discussed ad naseum but we allowed people to pre-order the SG perc in case someone in front of them decided to get another tube and we would then give that tube to the next person in line. Sorry to deliver the bad news but there were a limited amount of pieces and a few of them also met an untimely death during transportation.

@green2brown - mine heats up in less than 10 minutes. One thing you DO NOT want to do is have the Cloud plugged in while you start the engine. That will certainly lead to a bad result with the Cloud. Is your unit working fine at home? If so, I would look for a better inverter as it shouldn't take that much time to heat up. The Cloud does not take more than 100watts even at its maximum.

The unit works perfectly at home. Haven't had a single problem there. I've tried 4 different inverters so far, a 210w Wagan, a 400w Rhino, a 450w Lenmar, and a 400w Wagan. And I've tried 3 different cars. This has been a sort of project for me over the past week lol. But so far no luck.

So I pre-ordered in August of 2010 and still won't get the tube I initially wanted:cry: ?

I fully understand the limited production, but I thought the Sovereignty package stopped being available for pre-order after all hypothetical tubes had been hypothetically accounted for (two years ago).

So is my position still being held in chronological order as it was before? This entire release has been so confusing. I just want my cloud at this point.

If it makes you feel any better, all of the VapeXhale team gave up their HydraTubes with Sovereignty percs so that as many customers as possible could have one. @Pappy, I'm hanging onto your until you get back from Florida.

Yes, your position is still held in chronological order and yes, this release has been confusing. We're doing our best to get these puppies out, follow up on the hundreds of support tickets about when people will get their order email, and most importantly, making sure our customers that paid are getting the proper level of customer service. We're not a big company with lots of resources so we have to make the best of what we have. Based on a pre-order date of Aug 2010, I see your email arriving in the not too distant future.

@SM55, Where you staying at in Florida?

This thing really doesn't stop amazing me. For some reason, I feel my unit is getting better and better with more use. Is there maybe a little bit of a "break in" period? At first I felt it was running colder than it should have been as bowls were lasting quite a while even when turned to the 1 o clock position. Now, it's milking so thick I can't even see the ice pinches in my tube if I look down while hitting it. :ko:

I used it in my car while on lunch after I first received it because I just couldn't wait to get home and use it. I just used a 100w inverter. Worked fine.

Thanks for all the help so far guys.

I think I'm gonna try a pure sine wave inverter. Maybe the Cloud requires higher quality, more stable energy?

What kind of inverter do you have? Is it a pure sine wave inverter?

Hmmmm....

Color me disappointed as well having preordered with the Sovereignty tube selected, I guess I duped myself into thinking that meant I could actually order one of those when my turn came up. :disgust:

the sooner the pre orders are out and the shopping cart is open to the public the better. I too would like a hydra circ depending on cost and maybe some of the allergy botanical . I plan on getting some type of new glass this summer. Never thought I would become afflicted with glass acquisition syndrome but this vape has given to me. The main reason I want this vape out there is that I want everyone to experience this most excellent vape.

Love the last sentence. SM55 and I talked something similiar earliar today. I don't want to quote him but the bottom line is when something gives you so much enjoyment, you want to share that feeling and experience with as many of people as possible. That's why I spend my freetime after working a full time job and a second nightime passion job.
