Cloudy...
Well, if I was in US I will send an e-mail to Randy in Puffitup for sure. But in EU I will buy again from vapefiend, both of the best shops in the world!

Out to lunch
You'll pay the same price for a new one anywhere, so it really doesn't matter, other than maybe a choice of a free grinder, etc.

I will go for the Cloud+, if not you will have to pay 150$ extra when using your warranty if you have any problem and want to upload to a Cloud+

Troi says all the distributors sell Cloud+ ;)

Wow - the low temp shit is great! 11 O'clock is my new sweet spot for my daytime clouds....

:smug:

Same here, sometimes I start at 9 but 11 is the exact high I need for my daytime :freak:

Hey b0 - how long do you usually let your cloud run? Do you shut it off between session or do let her stay on?

What we called 11 would be in a clock 10:30

I think the longest has been about an hour or so, but the outher shell was really hot. I will have to search some wrist bands!

Whats up Vaporists, long time no FC for me.

Was just wondering does the price of the cloud justify the performance?

I'm probably wrong, but here goes it. I have Da Buddah vape, and I feel that I can also get huge mammoth plumes of vapor off if, if need be. I like the "total package" of the VapeXhale, including the ability to add different hydratubes etc......

Does the price justify the hit? I have heard so many great things about this vaporizer, but I question if it's really worth it. I could attach my Buddah to any number of premium attachments, tubes, coils etc to make the hit more moisturized and cooled.....

I understand there's been a lot of engineering with the heat system on the VapeXhale Cloud..... Is this what makes the vape so special, and how so? I have also heard about the "all glass vapor path" but doesn't a LifeSaver Vape have the same thing?

The Volcano to me, whether you love it or hate it, needs to be respected as a great design. There's people that have been using it 365 for 10 years now and it still operates like the day you purchased it. I also tend to think the quality of the vapor is unmatched, but I understand people don't like it because it's a bit more airy than if you took a buddah toke or a VapeXhale......

What is it that makes this vape so special? I can get pretty big, cooled, great tasting hits off Da Buddah, does the price justify the experience?

I would avoid e-bay.

Just got my Cloud from Randy @ Puffitup. Had some mix up with shipping (I was vaked and typed in the wrong address:smug:) and he personally called me to get things straightened out, and that was in the evening.

Coming from the SSV myself, there are a few things I adore about the cloud.

#1 - No more worrying about stopping mid hit and having the flowers blow back into your HC. You can prime a big bubbler with the VXC, stop hitting and regain your breath, and then continue where you left off. I'm still retraining my brain to not worry about stopping.

#2 - Considerably less stirring. Making for quicker sessions. I still shake the ELB, but stir only once or twice. I've read of others not stirring at all.

#3 - Heat retention. My SSV would start strong during a hit, then fade away towards the tail end. The VXC doesn't let up until you do.

#4 - Much shorter vapor path. At first I was kinda bummed that I'm no longer getting wand hash. Then I realized all them extra oils are now making it into my lungs and not getting stuck to my hose and wand.

#5 - Probably the most important, it's approved by my Wife,. She can effortlessly pull huge clouds with ease.

I bought one from Vapornation a little over a week ago. It was for a friend but I had it sent to me so I could test it and make sure it worked properly. I have a lot of experience with them and my friend does not. I used it for a week and just shipped it off to him. It was definitely a Cloud+ though it had a long cord. My Cloud+ has a shorter cord. Other than that difference they both were basically the same. it had a black knob like my older Cloud+ has. It had the same temps as mine - I use both of them in the 10 - 11 range. All this to say I just spent a week with a properly working Cloud+ from Vapornation.

Just another fantasy HT drawing mood:

I've got inspired by SSFGHL design to draw this sketch of disc perc HT.
It has a shape of a thin beer jug. (Maybe it could even be used that way lol) :)
It it was real it would probably be pricy as hell.

That looks perfect for a gridded stemline!

Maybe it could have like a big heady marble or opal on the opposite side to make it more balanced.

Tweak, why avoid eBay? Just curious.

Some vendors will not support vaporizers bought off e-bay, though I'm not sure what the VapeXhale's policy is.

I notice one seller on ebay has the VXC listed as "VapeXhale Cloud Vaporizer w Glass Mouthpiece Portable Handheld Pocket Vape". Didn't know they sold a Portable cloud, :p

Thanks for the response. The person I bought from purchases a 90 day warranty which I claim when I get the unit and then have the option of extending that with VapeXhale. I will let those curious know how this process shakes out over the next few days. But yes, when you search "cloud vaporizer" on eBay, almost all the hits are for that portable thing. I paid $442 with free ship and a grinder. The only couple people selling what appeared to be authentic VapeXhale Clouds all said they were Authorized Dealers. And there were about 4 listings. I was hoping some HT's would be up on the bay but no dice.

Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment but I'm considering another cloud from puffitup. I ordered an LSV to be my backup in these troubled times, but maybe a backup cloud is the real answer. Just tell me I'm crazy for considering picking up another cloud at this time, and I'll leave well enough alone.

I think the same thing I may just end up ordering another because I don't know what I would do without it.
